But they're still not allowing shared looting. God forbid people use teamwork in an mmo. All this does is encourage degenerate behavior.
Well I'll be a cat in a barrel of catnip xD Look at that response time. We ought to do this more often folks.
If they're going to backpedal from a needless change, at least commit to fully reverting that decision instead of trying to do a half-assed compromise.
I dont understand why they changed them in the first place. It didn't seem like that big of an issue to have multiple players loot the same ingots... Just seems like a fix to a problem that didn't exist until they made it exist.
Oh I guess it took those quests to pop up on NA servers for Blizzard to take notice.
Sounds like it was an intentional change after all (thought I didn't doubt that tbh)but due to 'feedback', are now changing it again to be less obnoxious (good good)...although... honestly I don't see what the point is in changing it from 'everyone can just loot it' to 'only one, but it respawns fast after' ... like is this some haphazard attempt to screw over multiboxers/bots or something? (that also screwed everyone else over in the process, before the 2nd rework)
Or, you know, you could just reverse the change instantly and not mess with people like that. Funny how quickly they tucked tail and backed off tho when they felt the backlash. Shame they decide to frame it as 'oh we will fix it!', using a word associated with bugs, not gameplay mechanics willingly implemented. Would it seriously hurt them to just once go "Sorry, we messed up. We thought this was a good idea for xxxx reason, but we'll undo it." The fakeness of this whole situation bothers me more than the content.
they sure know how to annoy players and support multiboxers....
WHY NOT EFFING JUST MAKE THEM SHARED AGAIN?
So multibox herb gatherer can still loot 1 herb 7x in 1 second but we will have to wait for respawn of daily quest items. GG Blizz.
Changing it from the original way was pointless and unnecessary. Whoever was behind that needs to get scolded unmercifully.
It sounds like they broke something and needed a quick band aid fix while they figure out what went wrong. That's fair enough.
This was clearly a bugfix of some kind with unintended consequences, good to hear they're addressing the problem. If they respawn in <5 seconds, it's fixed, If they respawn in 60 seconds, it ain't.
Glad to see Blizzard is focused on the REAL issues that plague this game....
blizzard your ability to get in your own way, make things needlessly tedious, and annoy your playerbase never ceases to amaze me
They would have keep it the way it was before,Just wasting time on this..Like really is there a reason to not allowed shared loot ...
