"is this intentional by Blizzard or a mistake?" well this is blizz lol

Comment by interestingcool

Hopefully blizzard removes all of them, the boss was already easy before but the encounter is actually on the level an AOTC boss at this point and should not be awarding hall of fame achievements after it closed. Just put the foot down and revert.

i'm not being toxic but why do people even care about hall of fame when it's so late into an expansion? the "achievement" in raids is the date of the kill. if you were to link it anywhere and see it's 10 years into the tier nobody would even care

Comment by TOMRUS

Boss is still very challenging and overtuned so no reason to close hall of fame I guess.

Change timings so mechanics don't overlap at very least.

they can leave it open all they want. we can see dates on achievements. no one will care about those trying to act elitist over getting it past the date. tbh no one really cares if u get it after the first nerf so i mean its whatever. blizz just lock it to 10 total from both factions and call it a day lol.

I highly doubt that there are any reasonable people existing that really check dates on achievements to rate other players competence. How lost can somebody be?

Blizzard may have removed boosted guilds from the Hall of Fame and that could have brought the total below 100 again.

I'm the priest in this clip, and I can honestly say this clip pretty much perfectly captures my playstyle.

Is EU open as well?

I find it wild that the HOF for Alliance (at all for that matter) is/was "still open" with 1 month left in the tier. This will likely go down as one of the worst? tiers ever. There was a lot of potential for Sepulcher, but they really dropped the ball here.

Yes, this is the indication of a good/bad tier, when alliance gets their hall of fame filled.

Comment by DrOnion

This is the exact reason why im not into this cross faction thing. Hordes are like the endgame faction while alliance are the authentic butterfly faction. And you can see this so hard now in raid n m+ everytime some alliance joins they like bad at everything.

Comment by zugzugzuug

that's what they should do top 10 guild from each side once its top 10 its over.

Comment by keziya

Hall of Fame is a worldwide achievement. My guess is it will close after China's reset on Thursday.

Comment by deathlavitz

You must be playing with some bad players. Not every alliance player is dog$%^& at what they do. In fact I have seen plenty of god aweful horde players that make the worst alliance players seem like world first raiders.

Look, I am not an advocate of finding excuses because I know how it is to play with people that repeat the same mistake over and over again and dont amend their mistakes but this raid is a special raid.

Do you guys remember when Blizzard, specifically Ion in one of his interviews that they will not commit the mistake of introducing one-shot mechanics again? It was an interview of Ion's and I think it was either with Sloot or Preach. Well, this raid is full of them. This, in a way and I hope you understand what I mean, is like Tomb of Sargeras, erm Tomb of Soakgeras.

This raid is obnoxious even on heroic. I have learned the patterns of all bosses and move accordingly, because duuuh, I am a warlock I do not have the luxury of having the kind of mobility that allows you to be lazy with positioning. Yes, you have teleport and soulshape but for teleport you need to know where you will be beforehand and soulshape is a 3-blinks ability with a cd that does not allow reckless playing like a mage allows you to.

Anyway, I would have wished there were more weekend raiding guilds on EU because I would have loved to do more than just Vigilant Guardian and Skolex on mythic. I work the night shift Monday to Friday.......so, yeah.

That aside, I kind of understand why they are struggling. It is laziness combined with not taking serious their time. The guild I did the 2 mythic kills with has plenty of these people. They do not look at strategy videos, they do not read their class tips for the bosses and they repeat the same mistakes over and over again.

Let me be clear. I *!@# up, too, but never the same mistake even if it is a chain of events that can cause me to make the same mistake. I *!@# it up, admit to it, and own up to it. I ask for help when I do not know what I do wrong. This what these people are not doing. I am convinced of it.

seems alliance hall of fame is still open on EU. Proper Guild Name just dinged in chat for getting Hall of Fame
