Yes, now the healers will only Q for 3/4 the amount of time to get their weekly vault, which will definitely fix the issues with MMR and the horror of SoloQ healing.
I get the feeling this new type of reward just makes healers be done for the week 25% quicker and stop queuing. Not sure though... This is a one second thought.

Came here to say that it's not that the healers want more rewards faster, but that they want healing in pvp to actually be fun. Most people are taking that healer role to play with their friends. Damage is still way too heavy and fast, and most of the time it's a reaction time issue to these bursts. So yeah, fun to play DPS and delete people, but for every delete, there's usually a healer back there wanting to kill themselves because they're having a horrible time.
This is in the live game right now, and it was in S1 as well. I just did a shuffle as healer to confirm; the buff only shows* when you are actually in the match as a healer.
Lower the damage, delete burst. Delete DPS Self-Healing. Then healing is gonna be fun.
Add “and awards a portion of that conquest in proportion to the number of rounds won” so healers can slowly progress their gear at 1/2/3 rounds won, and it might work with the encouragement.
I've never been especially good at PvP and the fact that the winning strat is generally to kill the healer first doesn't make me want to engage with PvP in order to learn to get better at it. They keep removing easy to understand abilities like Greater Fade in favor of more complicated ones with smaller windows of effectiveness which makes it even harder to get a handle on for casuals. Then people wonder why no one new is getting into PvP.
I like being Alliance and seeing "Soldiers needed!" in the PvP tab all the time. It's a beginner's trap. Getting rolled over in under a few minutes for a few pity marks and whatever else, with the bonus + this other bonus will not change the tune of any Alliance player.
I don't think even a double honor and conquest rewards will make it worth suffering solo shuffle as healer.
Healer here. This is completely useless. I have nothing to do with honor anymore. And getting conquest cap is already easy in solo. So it no reward at all. Also for healers that just play SS to cap conquest it will make then just play less as they reach the cap faster.Maybe instead of stupid thing like this they could start fixing the broken game dmg, random crits for half HP and similar stuff that makes playing healer miserable.
As someone who never heals but did not enjoy the forty minute queues that I would miss if I got up to get a drink of water, I wholeheartedly support incetivizing healers to play. Might make more players play healer. If not maybe they will just cap sooner and play less, time will tell. I stopped pvping after the 60 Ret nerfs, and before all the caster buffs. I'm hearing from rank 1 melee that if your not a Warlock your just going to die to one so I'll pass for now. Enjoying the raid and M+ for now.
