Hopefully tons of people do this raid on flex Mythic and Blizzard finally realizes fixed 20 man is a poor choice going forward.
Seems interesting! Looking forward to it.
Bah
I enjoy the description of the adds and then there's a throwaway line that states the complexity is how adds are positioned relative to the stationary add.But they don't explain why, at all, anywhere in the article.
Flex mythic is great and a step forward to getting more people to jump from HC to Mythic raids but the real killer and why raids like Dreamrift are so popular (outside of the trinket) is that there is no lockout issue.Lockouts are really old fashioned now when it comes to mythic. I understand the desire for lockouts for the RWF situation but once the race is over or even just at this point of the season (start of turbo boost/crest cap removal) they really should knock mythic lockouts down to how heroic/normal raids work and allow people to jump in on a boss by boss basis.I ran a mythic pug that achieved 6/8 in MFO and the biggest issue we had was the lockout and 1-2 people deciding enough is enough and killing the entire run. If they want mythic to be more accessible while flex raiding is a welcome to that (enables smaller size guilds to progress into it) the lockout is really what ruins Mythic raiding for a lot of people.
Since we are max gear already , its gona be one overtuned clown fiesta that we gotta suffer through. Microslop should stop with those shenanigans to keep player retention up , people need break after every CE up until next big patch , pushing content after content burns people desire to play the game and it has negative effect on the overall population.
Standard Blizz L putting all their dev team on designing an overtuned Mythic raid boss just for the elitist 0.00001% raiders, whilst BM hunter is bugged and doing trash-tier damage. Literally can't get invited into any 3s becuase I'm not playing FOTM. I also don't have time to grind gear. I can only play for six and a half minutes each week. I pay a subscription, I should have as much access to BiS Myth track loot as anyone else. And when will they make content for the vast majority of the casual playerbase? Huge content drought yet Blizz continues to pander to the RWF.
Pugs will be requesting CE + 290 ilvl week 1
mythic is already puggable now but the reason its popular is because lockouts not an issue. if they changed how mythic lockouts work to function like normal/heroic you'd see more people participating in it.
I hope they do mythic flex going forwards even if they cap the rewards at myth 1/6 or something instead. They really need to sort the lockout for mythic though, even if it’s just after the HoF closes (although I don’t think that’s necessary).
Yet another pad fight
Nice to see there is still zero mage spec variance due to Blizzard only being capable of balancing 1 out of dps specs per class each season.
