There is only one little mistake.

1x100 is correct.
But when calculating the 10x10 you forgot the 15 rage cost of Execute (Without imp. execute)
The means 10 execute hits with 10 bonus rage is: 10x10 + 10x15 = 250 rage needed.

The best way to know wich way is better is how much damage per rage point that way do.

925/15= 61.66, anyway spamin execute is better than one 100 rage hit, but not so better.

The good thing on this ability is the 925(less on low ranks) damage, the bonus is only bonus.

Is this skill not affected by AP or Str at all?
If so, at endgame, hitting MS/BT when they aren't on cooldown will provide a larger damage output than pure execute spam would.

the highes ti personally have hit is 7354 but potentinally this ability could crit for an insane amount of damage. With full rage, improved exectue, impale, enrage, deathwish (when it stacked with enrage) the 100% dmg bonus from the heroic mech boss, huntards +3 or 6% dmg from pet thing (forget name), windfury, recklessness (to assure a crit) and the t6 bonus -3 rage. well i dont know how much that would be but i can easily see like 30k against the mech boss which would totally destroy his sorry ass (also dont be in defensive stance for -10% dmg buff)

just did math and the total came to 64029.744 of course thats also assuming boss's armor is reduced to 0 and i know this is an insanely rare chance that all those things will be up/procced at the same time but there ya go thats the highest amount of dmg i could mathimatically calculate if ne1 else wants to add in another % increase feel free to use my number note AP doesnt modify exectue dmg

this might sound noobish.. but does Execute depend on weapon dmg / attack power or not? i ask this because the tooltip has no mention of either.
925 + ( rage x 21 ) only + dmg modifiers from talents/buffs right ?

with Imp Execute and 100 rage this can hit for 5085 and crit for 11187 , but of course execute will scale with AP , so damage will change.

With Sudden Death and Imp Execute, this ability costs no rage to chain activate, all rage generated is turned into 38 damage each.

Strangely enough, the Rage Conversion of this ability still does not scale, as opposed to, say, Ferocious Bite's Energy conversion, which does scale with AP.

Well actually, with S5 Gladiator weapon and correct talents (As arms ofc) you can crit +10k with this. But as I said, you need correct talents and good gear.

With 4k Ap:
1456 + 20% of 4k = 800 = 2256
With the glyph and speced 5 lesser rage:
100 x 38 =3800 + 2256 = 6056 Dmg with 100 rage non crit
I don't know if wepond dmg make any diffrense

Execute now has a maximum cost of 30 rage at all times..

When they capped Execute at 30 Rage, it was a buff for PvM, allowing you to essentially spam Executes on a -20% Health boss. But it was a huge nerf for PvP. Execute was the "coup de grace" move for PvP, it was the make or break effort to finish off an opponent before they could kill you or get healed. You'd either gloriously finish off your opponent (ala Execute them), or your damage would fall just short, leaving you completely out of offensive fuel for awhile while you watched your opponent get healed or finish you off.
Pretty stupid how they nerfed Execute in PvP, considering i've seen Marksman Hunters Kill Shot crit for 9k+ on PLATE classes in PvP, and Ret Pallys do unmitigable (Holy) 5.5k+ Hammer of Wrath crits in PvP. Both of those abilities can be used at Range, and both consume almost no Mana.

People! People! Our king is back!
Execute spamming is back! That's right! It is once again doing the most damage of our spells, as it should. My DPS went up 1k when i started execute spamming (I assure you, my rotation is good).
So be a trigger happy warrior when something gets down to 20%. Spam execute like there is no tomorrow!

As of patch 3.3, the Arms finisher priority on bosses below 20% health looks like this:

1) Keep Colossus Smash up as much as possible
2) Use Mortal Strike judiciously to keep rolling at 3 stacks
3) Spam Execute

Other concerns:

1) If you are using (which you should be) you should also use Heroic Strike on cooldown; however, if you are not using Deadly Calm then you shouldn't use anything else that costs rage
2) Berserker Rage on cooldown if the boss is doing any kind of raid-wide damage
3) Battle Shout or Commanding Shout IF you need to use Mortal Strike BUT you don't have enough rage (be smart about this, because it costs a GCD which could be spent Executing)

Other things to know about Execute for Arms warriors:

1) Due to Sudden Death Execute will never empty your rage bar, so when it is available it can be spammed to your heart's content
2) During Deadly Calm, the initial 10 rage cost of Execute will be free but any additional rage used to empower your Executes will still be deducted; to my knowledge, this is the only thing that can actually cost any rage during Deadly Calm

This ability is all but useless now...very steep cost rage,for some reason has a high parry/dodge chance and..well is very weak.you are better off using another slam or devastate..

Even before, hammer of wrath used to be able to be cast at what, 35%mob hp? (ofc its useless as well now)

Take it off the action bar honestly.

execute ftw in PVP, warriors really only have to do 80% damage to their target, because as soon as your enemy hits 20%, the instant execute more than likely, um, executes them.

I love this...esp when in a raid. I let the mages and rogues apply the buffs to monsters and i just wait till the creature is almost dead and then execute it. I have done 1000dmg before with it. That was overkill on the specific monster (38 elite) but just think about a boss or something. With high crit you could do some serious damage. I love it.

Honestly when ur getting a run from a lvl 70 and they tell you they got a 5k crit on execute...well ok ur jaw drops and u wish u were them. But honesly you dont need to blow 1k dmg into the face of anything with 20% health...unless ur in pvp and u really wanna blow a mage to pieces just to make him afraid of u...ahhhh good times.

my warrior at 37 was critting for about 1200. At that level, mobs have like 1800 health. Overkill maybe? still, it was a godsend in pvp, all you had to do was knock the opponent down to 20% health and u hit execute (aka the "I.W.I.N" button for warrior)

Execute is nasty but not entirely worth while if you have to kill another thing quickly. In PvP, it may be worth it to take down that healer instantly but his friend might give you some grief without any rage

Just got a 6,7k crit with this on a 70 warr...
would have got ALOT more on a clothie

Buffs= zerker, 100 rage, + 300 AP, deathwish, trinket.
Debuffs= I think the warr had deathwish activated

Lol I tried my friends warrior (lvl 28) and then I went outside orgrimmar. I took a duel with 19lvl rogue twink and i got his hp to 20%. Then I used heroic strike and it critted 250 and boom instatly after that 450 crit with execute!

But its all about luck how much you hit with this, becouse its the do u have skinning knife or corpsemaker, damage what it will do IS NOT based on weapon , attack power or strenght.

this spell Is completely awsome in pvp. BUT it was obviously ment for high level raids, cause when you get to raid bosses and they have 20% health, they could still have 75k health and above. so warriors pretty much spam this. but hell the overkill in pvp is very nice too.

The amount of damage each point of rage turns in to scales with the rank of the ability. Perhaps something happened with a parser somewhere when the data was being collected.
