I would assume that since this is a tailor specific enchant, it would not share the cool down with the IED gem. this would mean that tailoring has a boon and a reason that people take it. I would love to have JC with this as you can also benefit from the JC only gems.

Again, it is very, very doubtful that there is a shared CD.

i just tested it. it does NOT share a CD with IED (https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=41401)

procced at the same time once. and after that it procced 10sec apart.

Is this an item or an enchant? It's very unclear to me.

Also can any tailors explain why it requires 400 tailoring, but you train it at 420? This seems to suggest it's an item.

Anyone know whether this shares a cooldown with insightful earth--- diamond meta gem proc effect?

I am using both darkglow embroidery and that gem, and wonder if I should switch to the bracing meta (+spell power).

From recent WWS parsing, I'm seeing procs of darkglow JUST over 1 minute apart, over and over. so, I would believe a 60 second internal cooldown, but I've seen too many times where it procs under the 75 seconds stated above.

Going over a few WWS on me as Discipline Priest, I find that the Embroydery procs' approximately the same amount of times during a combat as does the Insightful Earthsiege Diamond, perhaps minimally less.

Since the Earthsiege Metagem clocks in at pretty much exactly 75mp5, this one is half of that due to it only restoring 300 mana on proc.

So the Darkglow Embroidery equals to roughly 35mp5 (rounded down from 37.5) in value.

Just did some testing on my priest, I am 100% certain that the internal cooldown is 60 seconds. Spamming flash heal, I got procs anywhere from 62 seconds to 70 seconds apart. This makes it a maximum of (300 / 60 * 5 = 25) 25mp5.

Anyone else find it ironic that all the casters who's sole focus is to cause pain and destruction to their foes (I.e warlocks, mages and shadow priests) use the "light" embroidery, while all the healers use this "dark" one?

Does it stack with a normal cloak enchant like "speed" or we can only choose 1 for our cloak?

I know I'll probably get downrated, but when I applied this to my cloak on my warlock, I gained 1 spellpower and I have no idea why.

Hallo, I just tryed Lightweave Embroidery out on my Shadow Preist. It only Proc when i cast Mind blast.
Not with DoTs.
"Embroiders a subtle pattern of light into your cloak, giving you a chance to cause an additional 1000 to 1200 Holy damage when you damage an enemy with a spell."

So my quistion is will Darkglow Embroidery proc with DoTs, or will it be the same?
"Embroiders a magical pattern into your cloak, giving you a chance to restore 300 mana when you cast a spell"

Amusingly enough, I have had this proc from Talent Switch. I'm guessing that talent swap is considered a "spell," so it triggers spell-dependant abilities. Though starting at 300 mana rather than 0 mana was fine with me :P

was wondering if this was worth using on my resto druid since it says cast a spell i usually cast half the time. just wasnt sure if it procs off of HoTs

tryed it out today, seems like they reduced cooldown to 45sec, and as mentioned before its 400mana now, which brings it to around 44mp5 which is pretty neat

Ive just done this enchant on my heirloom cloak! Does anyone know if it scales and if so what it would be at level 19? :)

This item is listed incorrectly in the item enhancement list page. It says it is Enchanting, where it is really Tailoring as listed on the details page.
