If you can find a
Zandalari Anklerender
from the Trolls of the Isle of Giants , you can literary destroy Nitun.
My Anklerender has the following stats :
HP:1237
AT:276
SPEED:341
i used the following skill set :
Hunting Party
Black Claw
Leap
Concerning the fight: I started with black claw and then hunting party. After that, one Leap was enough to kill Nitun. Hunting party can hit upto 750 if the raptor gets below 50%.
edit: If you wonder why hunting party can hit so high : Extra damage vs critter, + 100% damage from hunting party debuff + 74 + damage from black claw + 25% damage if below 50% HP
The same applies for the fight vs.

I used the
Fire-Proof Roach
as my first pet. Used the ability
Apocalypse
. The ability killed him when the meteor hit, after 15 rounds. I guess any roach or beetle with the ability would do. The roach must be alive when the meteor hits btw.
Edit: Since 5.3 I use healing pets and pets with
Sandstorm
as secondary pets to the beetle to survive until the Apocalypse hits.

A good battle pet is the
沙地海燕
, Nitrun does reduced damage to Flying and with the combonation of Hawk Eye, you can spam Thrash, which does extra damage against critters. At first i used Hawk Eye + Adrenline Rush, but being a flying type, your speed is already higher. My rare Sandy Petrel was level 23, and it took Nitrun down 1700 hp

Had a hard time against this guy with my usual team. I decided to swap out for:
海鷗
(Rare, Level 22)
沙地海燕
(Rare, Level 21)
小小死亡之翼
(Rare, Level 25)
I set both of the birds to use Thrash, Adrenaline Rush and Liftoff. I started off each with Adrenaline Rush and kept it up, then hit him with Thrash. When he activated Prowl, I responded Liftoff thinking that I could avoid his power-attack - my mistake being that the stealth mechanic actually lasts two turns and doesn't deactivate unless he actually hits something during that time.
At any rate, once the birds died and got him down to around 40% (post-heal from his Ravage attack), I spammed Lil' Deathwing's Tail Sweep to finish him off, taking advantage of the Dragonkin Execute ability.
You should be fine using any type of Sea Gull and any high-powered low-speed Dragonkin with Tail Sweep, these were just what I had on hand around the right level range.

/way Valley of the Four Winds 25.3 78.5 Greyhoof - Beast
/way Krasarang Wilds 36.2 37.3 Skitterer Xi'a - Aquatic

/way Townlong Steppes 72.3 79.8 Ti'un the Wanderer - Aquatic

I use sirinad's suggestion - my pets are Terrible Turnip/Sprite Darter Hatchling/Brilliant Kaliri) - which works for every one of these guys, though there are a couple healers for which it's probably easier to use 3 of the appropriate counter class.

This guy wasn't too bad.
I started with Sandy Petrel and opened with Adrenaline Rush, followed by Thrash a few times. Then when the Petrel was near dead, I swapped in Anodized Robo Cub (so Nitun couldn't regain health off Ravage). Same plan yet again, once Robo Cub's health was low, I swapped in Snow Cub and finished him off.

As of 5.3 this pet hits for 1/3 more and your attacks against him have been reduced by 3/4.
You'll find you're being two shotted by him and his heal of 560 well negate your now petty attack of 200. You'll only survive two hits so you better make them count but it won't matter because he heals every 3rd turn.
You hit him twice for 200 and he heals it.

Significantly more challenging in 5.3. What finally worked for me was two spiders. My third pet didn't even come out.
I used
紫晶小蜘蛛
and
跳躍小蜘蛛
, both set up with
打擊
,
易碎之網
, and
小蜘蛛群
. Hit him with Brittle Webbing as an opener, then Spiderling Swarm. Strike until Brittle Webbing needs to be refreshed. Repeat with the 2nd spider when the first dies.
Edit: that seemed unduly lucky, after several tries with the same strategy again today. What worked consistently was to swap out the first spider for the second after the first swarm. Brittle Webbing is still up, so second spider does Swarm and then either refresh webbing or do Strike. Then I went to my third pet (a Scourge Whelpling) to finish him off.
Good luck!

With 5.3 live I was a bit taken ashort with the changes brought to this elite pet and had to change my usual squad. The 50% dmg mitigation (passive elite) combined with the dmg reduction he casts on you makes you miss the early days of
Fluxfire Feline
atomic habilities
One thing you need to manage is its
Ravage
hability which if one of your own pet gets killed while active will heal Nitun for a hefty 600+HP. Something you don't want to happen.
After a few tries I found that the combinations of Beast pets with
Howl
and
Dazzling Dance
(such as
Fjord Worg Pup
or
Arctic Fox Kit
for exemple) allow to dispose quickly of this mofo.
So with 2 of these beast pets in the squad you still can fit a lowby to gather some XP on a well planned sequence.
Good luck

I found a soultion how to avoid his selfheal after he kills your pet with Ravage. Use undead pet, if he died after strong attack, ravage would not heal him and you have 2 more attacks for good.

After 5.3 , I could not take Nitun down. All my old team bearly made a debt in him. Finally got him with all fliers. My 1st pet was Amber Moth, . I used Moth Dust 1st and Nitun went to sleep (may be the only reason I won), then Slicing wind, managed to time Cocoon Strike with his prowl and didn't get hit with his major strike.
My 2nd pet was Gilnean Raven, , Crow has the same set of skills. I used Call Darkness then Nocturnal Strike, peck afterwards, I don't remember if I got a second shot with Nocturnal Strike.
My 3rd pet was Emerald Whelpling, . Likely I should have used another true flier here, but Tranquility kept him in the game long enough to win.

I had a lot of trouble with this guy after 5.3! I spent a useless hour against him yesterday trying out various failing tactics, and decided to try again with different pets today.
The final trick to getting him down seemed to be using one of the Zandalari raptor pets, in combination with another pet with a strong Beast attack. I used
Zandalari Footslasher
with
Exposed Wounds
and
Hunting Party
. You could swap Exposed Wounds for
Black Claw
when using any of the other Zandalari raptors.
Use Exposed Wounds or Black Claw first, and then hit Nitun with Hunting Party. This will make him take loads more damage. Now my raptor actually died after one round of Hunting Party, but don't worry too much if that happens. Swap in another pet with a strong beast attack and continue until he goes down (which should be fairly quickly). I used an
Arctic Fox Kit
with
Howl
and
Bite
.
Good luck!

Just killed him using three flyers. A 23 Sandy Petrel...25 Garden Moth...and 25 Fungal Moth all rares. Im sure any combination might work but it seemed the trick was when any of the three dies he heals back up to 100%. So basically just damage and avoid and when you have maybe 400-500 health left on one pet SWITCH to the next pet and he wont heal .

I used Alpine Foxling, Fox Kit and Amber Moth (all 25's)
The Foxes have it set for BITE - HOWL - DAZZLING DANCE
The Moth have it for SLICING WIND - COCOON STRIKE - MOTH DUST
The Dance isnt necissary to win, just howl, bite and swap thru both foxes (hope for a crit)
swap out pets before they die to avoid his heals, and hope to god your Moth Dust makes him sleep- it aint easy..........
I I really am pissed on WHY they felt the need to mess with this? the Beasts of Fable were not EASY before? now they made them harder, and Nitun is almost invincable!
As few people that really do pet battles on each server why mess with the TOP LEVEL fights that only 10-20% of all pet collectors could beat before? it makes me mad like it's a kick in the teeth for all my hours of training and experimenting getting together the perfect teams to even WIN against these suckers and then the jerkoffs at Blizzard go and make what was already hard harder-
It's funny how they keep "Fixing something " that isnt broke, yet the Battle system is still broke since 5.1 because after an ENEMY pet dies as a result of Brittle webbing, their dead body still keeps attacking- Never used to do that? but for MONTHS now it's broke and still is, yet they go and screw up the Fables

You absolutely have to swap out or otherwise avoid the heals he'll get from a ravage kill. I finally got it done with an electrified razortooth in the lead by putting a bleed on it, then hitting with beast attacks that also buffed from bleeding. A snake with burrow to finish. I couldn't get it done with fliers because they just didn't hit hard enough. Good Luck!

Lead with Lashtail Hatchling Exposed Wounds.
Next hit with Screech.
Pow hit him with Bite.
Pow hit him with bite again!
Next use your Fox and use Leap.
Next Crouch Because here comes ravage.
And pow hit with Bite.
POW hit him with Bite again!
DOWN GOES NITUN!
Beast mode deactivated.

i can only give one piece of advice for this fight:
Undead pets.
their ability prevents them from getting killed by ravage, meaning that there is absolutely no healing taking place during the fight, which is exaclty the part that makes this fight so hard! The undead pet's racial takes the 'kill' at the end of the extra turn, so even if nitun deals the last blow with ravage, he won't get healed. This means you do NOT have to swap the undead pets out to avoid the heal.
furthermore, while being a critter, Nitun has NO critter attacks, which means he cannot do extra damage to undead pets. Using a team of three undead pets (25,25,21 in my case, didn't even need the third) this fight becomes a cakewalk.
Like one of the helpfull comments below this post says, the third pet does not have to be undead, since if it dies, you've lost anyway so any healing is no longer an issue.

After being nearly reduced to tears while working on the achievement "The Longest Day", I thought this would be unkillable, and my SEVEN hours of work would be put to waste.
I finally killed this bugger, after no less than 90 minutes of attempts...with a level 20 gray.
My team was: Gray quality level 20 Resilient Roach, lvl 25 Terrible Turnip and level 25 Water Strider.
I put the roach up first and casted apocalypse.. then brought out the water strider and soothed him. He hit me once and I healed, and he went to sleep. Brought in the turnip and used the underground for 2 rounds abilities. When that was down, I used the song to heal my group, and kept going back and forth between those two. When apocalypse only had 2 rounds left, my last level 25 died, and my roach came back in. Casted survival and one shot the S.O.B.
Yay!

I read all these posts and tried the roach but had no pets that could last that long (my emperor crab died in two hits with shield and mists) and tried the undead but was still having no luck hitting him hard enough before he killed all three - probably haven't got he "right " undead pets to make it work.
I found using the three flyers method worked but "only " if my moth managed a sleep on the first dust as that gave him long enough to do the lion's share of the damage before swapping him out for Dragonbone hatchling who only gets in a couple of hits (he must hit on Lift-off) and then finally swapping him out for Brilliant Kaliri who does a Predatory strike to finish him off.
So to summarise I think you have to be lucky with the RNG but I just kept restarting until my Moth Dust put him to sleep on the first go.
Amber Moth - Moth Dust - Cocoon strike - alpha strike - repeat until low health
Dragonbone Hatchling - Lift off - Thrash - maybe one more before switch
Brilliant Kaliri - Predatory strike (Nitun was at 470 health for me at this point)
If anything misses you will probably have to start again as someone will die and Nitun will heal.

小寡婦蜘蛛

小惡狼
Start with KT
:
厄運詛咒
-->
死亡凋零
-->
暗影斬擊
until Nitun kills you.
Then go for the Spiderling:
毒液噴射
-->
易碎之網
(keep applying these two until you're dead). They are harmful for critters and should bring Nitun pretty far down.
Then finish with Lil' Bad Wolf:
嚎叫
(if you think you can survive a second attack) -->
爪擊

As several have noted, this pet has gotten substantially harder to kill since 5.3. The biggest roadblock is that he heals for a significant amount any time he kills one of your pets with Ravage.
The key is to use pets that can avoid being killed, but typical foils like
存活
or
偏斜
aren't quite good enough because Ravage continues for two rounds.
I have found, as several have noticed, that using Undead pets is best because their deaths do not trigger Ravage's heal effect.
Though Nitun is a Critter (from which Undead pets typically take increased damage), he does not actually use any critter based attacks, so this is not an issue.
However, using an undead with Beast attacks will afford you better returns, as Nitun takes 50% more damage from beast attacks.
Notable examples are
詭異的箱子
吞噬
attack, as well as
爪擊
available from
化石小迅猛龍
and
畢勾沃斯先生
(who can also use
突襲
with 5% greater accuracy).
Perhaps the hardest hitter is
感染的幼熊
who offers a one-two combo of undead critter status and a full arsenal of beast attacks with
咆哮
,
重擊
and
槌擊
.

I finally found something that works for me. All pets are level 25 rares. This takes a little bit of luck but nothing miraculous.
Alpine Foxling
Health 1237
Damage 276
Speed 341
Lil' Tarecgosa
Health 1627
Damage 273
Speed 260
Desert Spider
Health 1237
Damage 276
Speed 341
I opened with Alpine Foxling (abilities: Bite, Howl, Dazzling Dance) - First, Dazzling Dance for the 25% team speed increase for 9 rounds. Then Howl, which increases damage by 100% for 2 rounds. If he is dead then I quit the round, revive, and try again.
Next I switch out to Lil' Tarecgosa (abilities: Breath, Surge Of Power, Arcane Explosion). First, Surge of Power -- combined with Howl above, it hits HARD. There is a two round cooldown and if you don't get killed, you have probably won this match.
Next I switch to Desert Spider (abilities: Strike, Brittle Webbing, Spiderling Swarm). I open with Brittle Webbing, then Spiderling Swarm. I finish with Strike.
This once again takes some luck but it eventually hits for me.

In 5.3 this guy (and other Beasts of Fable) get a half-damage protective buff instead of massive health, which nerfs the Sunlight+Life Swap play. However, Life Swap is still not nerfed, so it's still a good way to chew through some health. Back it up with some flyers (who take less damage) and this guy should go down before anyone is too weak to soak a hit.

After getting my butt kicked a dozen times in a row I finally got this fight down to a science.
Pets Needed:
An alpine foxling (or any other pet with a combination of Howl and Dazzling Dance)
Virtually any spider (So long as they have Brittle Webbing and Spiderling Swarm)
Steps to Victory:
Start with your foxling, immediately use Dazzling Dance, Nitun will likely use Prowl
Allow him to hit you (Should knock out half your health) then cast Howl if you're CERTAIN YOUR FOX WILL DIE. It's okay if Nitun uses Ravage at this point.
Send out your Spider after your fox has died and use Brittle Webbing. Nitun will likely attack again.
Use Spiderling Swarm.
Nitun should attack again, and god willing the Brittle Webbing will kill him.

First out the gate was my rare "Bat", with Noct. Strike-screech-screech-and Bite for the rest of the attacks. I swapped him right before he died to avoid Nitun's self heal.
Second was Cinder Kitty, with Prowl-Claw-Leap-and Claw. This was all it took Nitrun was down....never even made it to my third pet.

Hawkyyy
Alpine Foxling Kit
and
Softshell Snapling
can duo this guy.
Start off with the Fox Kit and use Howl. Nitun hits pretty hard and if you're lucky you'll be knocked under 25% so will get extra damage on top of your howl you just used. Bite once or twice depending how lucky you are.
Fox will die but Niton will not get healed (not sure why, did i miss something?) then just finish off Nitun with a Headbut and Bite from your Snapling.
Hope this helps!

Fight Ravage with Ravage, says I.
Been using this team with some success versus Fable critters-
Bucktooth Flapper (Gnaw, Screech, Woodchipper)
Chrominius (Howl + Ravage combo dominates)
3rd slot doesn't really matter.
Bucktooth gets dominated, but gets his bleed off, and chips him down just enough for Chromy to pop Howl + Ravage, which unless RNG hates you will do the job.
Even if not, having a third pet up your sleeve will finish the job, long as it isn't an elemental :)

I found a fairly reliable way of easily beating this pet in 5.3. To do this, you'll want 1 of either
贊達拉破踝龍
or
贊達拉咬膝龍
(the ones with Black Claw), and then you'll need 1 of
贊達拉破踝龍
,
贊達拉咬膝龍
, or
https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/npc=70452
. That is, you need 2 of these Zandalari raptors total; the first one needs to have Black Claw, and the second one can be any of them other than the Toenibbler (it can even be 2 of the same one).
Bring out the first raptor and just keep using Black Claw over and over and over until it dies. Once it does, bring out the second raptor and use Hunting Party and Nitun will die in two turns.
What I said above is all you need to know, but I'll include a few notes about why I say to do it like this, since it may sound oddly specific. Depending on luck, you could pull it off with a single raptor, doing Black Claw + Hunting Party, but the raptors all have low health; if Nitun uses Prowl, the next hit WILL kill you. If all you do is want to kill this guy once and don't have two raptors, you can try this, and with enough pulls you'll actually get the right luck out of what abilities he uses and kill him.
You also can't really rely on damage doing partial damage with 2 different pets, as his Devour will massively heal him. You need Hunting Party to hit 2 turns in a row for this to work, and you need Black Claw. Thus, by spamming Black Claw, it ensures that your second raptor comes out with it already up, and then you just need to use Hunting Party. At this point, it's impossible for him to kill you in 2 turns. Prowl can't be up when your second raptor comes in because Nitun just attacked to kill your first one. If he does Prowl as his first move, he loses speed and thus, you'll get the second tick of Hunting Party before he one-shots you. If he doesn't Prowl, it takes 3 hits to kill you and you're fine too.

This one is almost too easy, even in 5.3.
Line-up:
1
Flayer youngling
2
Chrominius
3 you won't need a third, take your mother in law to feed to the NPC if you wish.
Start off with
Rampage
.
Repeat
Bite
until you are below 630 health and Nitun's
Ravage
is available. Don't want him to heal for 629 health when he kills us now, do we? That would mean your mother in law may actually actually need to hit Nitun with her broom or nag him to death.
If you get to lower health after Nitun's first turn of Ravage you could theoretically use
Deflection
to avoid him from healing when killing you the turn after. But why would you? Nitun will be below 1k health by then, so you can just go for the kill.
Swap to
Chrominius
and finish the job with
Howl
and
Surge of Power

I had a lot of trouble with Nitun mostly due to his Ravage ability as has been discussed previously.
My solution was an Undead team consisting of one Scourged Whelpling & two ghostly Skulls.
First turn I hit call Darkness with my Scourged whelpling so the spectral Strikes on my Ghostly Skulls would be 100% hit chance.
When the first ghostly Skull was about to die I hit Unholy Ascension Insuring that all further attacks would be 25% stronger for 9 rounds.
I did not however need 9 rounds as I was able to take him out leaving one of my Ghostly Skulls
with aprox, 90% life remaining.

It's not just undeads who don't die (and give Nitun a massive heal) when they are first killed! Mechanical pets also self-rez. I just got Nitun on the first try with my Rabid Nut Varmint 5000, Personal World Destroyer, and Fluxfire Feline (all 25 rare). All three have a Beast attack.
On the Nut Varmint, I used his damage shield and then Thrash, Thrash, Thrash. When he "dies," he comes back to life immediately, and I swap to the Personal World Destroyer. Supercharge, then Thrash on that one, then thrash each time until "dead" and revived. Swap to Fluxfire, Supercharge, then Claw, then Claw until Nitun died.

I downed him with three fluxfire felines (still have them from before their sad sad nerf). The key is to swap them out as soon as they die the first time so that Nitun doesn't get his obscene heal.

Killed this stupid silly unbalanced pet with this setup :
Landro's Lil' XT (2 1 1)
Anodized Robo Cub (1 1 1)
Core Hound Pub (2 2 2)
I didn't let any pet dies just in case but if you're feeling lucky you can let your Mechanical pets die.
Took me like 8 trys to kill it.
Good luck

Read most comments here then figured out that I was missing half the required pets and/or lvls required to kill this, so I came up with a new strat.
Lined up a 23 rare foxling kit, a 25 rare kun-lai runt, and a 25 uncommon creepy crate just in case.
Lead with the kit, dazzling dance'd then used bite until I was sure I was about to die (about 2 hits in), then used howl.
Switched to the Kun-Lai Runt. Used Rampage. He crit for 1379 back to back and it was game over.
I mighta gotten lucky but wanted to post this just in case anyone else wants something else to try.
Gluck!

Defeated this guy with lil xt, darkmoon zeppelin, and spirit crab.
I opened up with the spirit crab ( which is undead which apparently didnt activate his healing ability) and nuked him to about half health including the 2 "free" turns with the crab as dead/immortal" using snip and whirlpool effectively. After the crab died i switched to XT and nuked him with zap until XT died and used his come back to life ability. At that point i swapped him in for the zeppelin which I opened with decoy and followed up with bombing run then missiles.
This got me the kill on the second or 3rd attempt after I ruled out a broad based beast approach for his healing so this comp I reduced his healing to nil
Hope this helps as an alternative strategy for beating him.

Undead pets, yes.
I've been having consistant results over that last few weeks with two undeads and a third "leveling pet" of any type to finish him off. Depending on which of my undeads I choose to use will determine how strong the third pet has to be. During the first week of this tactic I didn't have particularly strong undeads and the third pet needed to pull his/her weight. I leveled an Alpine Foxling Kit and a Fjord Wolf in this slot.
More recently, I can pretty much level any pet in this slot and often have to ease off with my second undead so as to keep Nitun alive for my leveling pet. Most recent team has been:
Unborn Val'kyr
: Shadow Slash, Curse of Doom, Unholy Ascention
Spirit Crab
: Snap, Whirlpool, Shell
Leveling Pet
First doom. Then spam Shadow Slash for a few rounds - but she doesn't last long because that prowl/ravage hits like a truck. Unholy ascention on the revival round.
I don't usually use the shell. Whirlpool first, unless I think Nitun might die too quickly. Then just snap. Depending on Nitun's health I'll try to time the whirlpool so that it drops on the first round with my leveling pet.
even with crappy rng, with doom missing and such (in which case crab will drop a whirlpool on round 1) Nitun is generally in pretty bad shape by the time my leveling pet sees action.
Before I had Val'k, I used a Crawling Claw to Doom, spam Agony, and could usually get a second doom on the claw's revival round.
I'm looking forward to leveling Chrominius here because it's just obscene to see the whirlpool hit after a howl when Nitun has the Unholy Ascention debuff.
That was a bit more long-winded than intended, but hopefully it's helpful to someone.

I used
Crow
and
Snowy Owl
- Nitun's damage abilities are beast so flying pets take less damage from him (had Sea Gull as back up but didn't have to use it). Use Murder (double damage for 2 rounds after) / Call Darkness / Murder, then when Crow dies use Quills and finish him off with Predatory Strike.
You can use the same pets for
Dos'Ryga
unless you have your
Blighthawk
leveled - which I don't yet - he is taking less damage from Frost Breath, has flying abilities and you can avoid Whirlpool damage with Lift-Off.

After soloing Ka'Wi with a Darkmoon Rabbit, I figured I could pull off the same trick here, using Huge, Sharp Teeth!, Dodge, and Stampede. I had him down to about 300 HP, and then...Ravage hit me for over 700HP and pretty much topped his health all the way back up.
I immediately thought to counteract his Ravage with one of my undead pets, and I figured the best bet would be one with a Stampede of their own. Enter, Infected Squirrel.
Mine was actually only at level 13 when I fought Nitun, so I had to get it up to 15 for the Stampede ability to be available. I just used some of the critters that were sitting around to get the two levels I needed.
Then I re-engaged Nitun, with the Squirrel leading off. He died pretty quick, as expected, but Nitun wasn't able to get any health regen from using Ravage, and the double-damage debuff was still in effect for two rounds.
I swapped in the Darkmoon Rabbit and hit him with Huge, Sharp Teeth!, which is strong against critters, and has a 4 round bleed. He hit me for about 700HP again which was about half my health. I applied the Dodge effect next, and let the bleed continue to wear him down. As soon as the Dodge had worn off, and before he could hit me again, I used my Burrow ability to avoid getting hit for another round while the bleed continued, and when I came up, I hit him for about 300HP, since the double-damage from the squirrel's Stampede had worn off by this point. He was at about 260HP at this point, so I swapped out the Rabbit for a Feline Familiar with full health to avoid risking him getting me with Ravage again.
After he got his next hit in for about 1000HP, my familiar's Ravage ability finished him off. Sweet revenge...

So I found a rather interesting quirk to the way the Beasts of Fable damage reduction buff works that can be exploited to make basically any beast of fable fairly easy to kill. This is a generic strategy for all beasts and may have to be slightly adapted for each individual beast, but I'll include specifics where I think is necessary.
The main aspect to this trick is that if you place a +100% damage buff on the target (such as
嚎叫
), you would think that the Beast would take "normal" damage, because the damage taken is doubled from Howl and then cut in half from the beast of fable buff. However, the effects apparently add, not multiply; as a result, the Beast will end up taking +50% damage when these two buffs add together. This is a huge increase in the damage taken over what you'd expect, and as such, ANY sort of +100% damage buff from abilities like
嚎叫
,
群聚攻擊
, etc. are extremely powerful.
Now, for the specifics. For a simple team that can take out anything, I recommend using at least 2 of
克羅米尼斯
, and then some other 3rd pet (which could be a 3rd Chrominius, but may be better as something else, which I'll go into later). If you go Howl + Surge of Power with Chrominius, it will do over 1100 damage. This means that if you do this with 2 Chrominius in a row, the Beast will die no matter who it is except for the healers. Against Beasts that don't hit as hard, you could go Howl + Bite + Surge, but there's little reason to do this against Beasts that won't heal since they'll die in the process anyway, and if you fail to cast the Surge of Power before dying you will have some other issues.
There are three Beasts that can heal, and this provides a bit of a problem to the strategy, but you can adjust. It should be noted that these Beasts won't get many opportunities to heal. Your strategy revolves around doing VERY high damage per turn, so they'll usually only get off 1 or at most 2 heals before the fight is over.
1) Dos Ryoga: This fish is often the hardest Beast for most people to beat. When using Chrominius, I recommend going Howl + Bite + Surge instead of just Howl + Surge. Dos Ryoga does hit hard, but he has a lot of abilities that avoid doing damage for a turn, so you'll usually have time to use all three of these abilities. Try to include a Flyer with
掠食攻擊
on your team. This ability hits pretty hard to begin with and will be fairly effective for finishing off the low-health Ryoga after your second Chrominius dies. Furthermore, if you ever find yourself in a situation where a Chrominius dies while there's still a turn of Howl left on Dos Ryoga (a fairly common occurence), always swap in the bird next and then use Predatory Strike. This will cause Dos Ryoga to take more damage than a Surge of Power, even if he's not under 25% health.
2) Nitun: This racoon isn't as hard as Dos Ryoga, but he is a little more random. One of the issues you may find yourself in is that against your first Chrominius, he may open with Prowl + Devour, which will cause him to heal all of the damage that Chrominius does. The trick as odd as it sounds is, don't try to outsmart him. Just go Howl Bite Surge on each of your Chrom's. If your first Chrom dies and there's still a turn of Howl up, you'll want to go Bite Howl Bite Surge, and this should kill Nitun before he can heal again. The nice thing here is that Bite is strong against Nitun to begin with, so while he's random, you can often just overpower the RNG with massive damage.
3) Lucky Yi: This cricket is quite easy in this strat, I include it only for completeness. He'll keep healing, but he doesn't hit all that hard and he's weak to Bite. Just do the Howl Bite Surge combo over and over and he'll die pretty easy.

3 snakes: Grove Viper, Elder Python, Temple Snake.
All your abilities are beast max against critter, including Poison dot.
Poison him, either use your hiss or big fang, and burrow when he is going to Ravage.
You may get hit by the first one but you can survive it. You will know the second one is coming when the CD is up.
Your 2nd snake may be low when a CD is up and you have no burrow, just swap him out and you will survive that Ravage.
Did him twice in a row to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Second time didn't even need 3rd snake.
No fancy gimmicks or swapping, just poison, hit and burrow. Easy money.

So here is yet another Super Effective group (duo really):
Summit Kid
Elder Python (any snake I guess)
Third Slot = any critter eater but didnt find it necessary
***This is respective to how to start the battle***
I found that duo is very easy to get in Pandaria and they will be more useful of Rare quality.
My combo in order of rounds :
Chew (feign the first attack but see why)
Then Stampede (obviously get the 100% dmg bonus -- ie normal dmg against the elite), then chew will get off its full attack.
--- Its ok; he will die and is meant to (even if it heals)
Then summon the python
Use Slither (A huge Dmg and B reduce speed to get the TKO punch) *900+ dmg
Use Huge Fang *ftw
Should this fail, you can at least rely on the elder python's beast attack or summon another beast attack should the python live... You dont want it to heal.

Found a solid team for this beast, which in the beginning took me a long time to kill due to his selfheal.
I'm using an Unborn Val'kyr (1-2-1), Crawling Claw (1-1-1) and a Szechuan Chicken (2-1-2).
The strat is basically to dot Nitun up and then finish with the Flock spell from the Chicken.
So my round goes: Val'kyr -> Slash, Doom, Haunt. Bring out the Claw, cast -> Agony. Swap to chicken and cast Flock.
Having 100% success rate doing this. I'm sure other pets with a strong DoT will do just as fine, don't have any atm so can't try it out for myself.

Team: Unborn Val'kyr (H/H), Restless Shadeling (H/H) & Ashwing Moth (S/B). Start off with the Val'kyr, and curse him with the Curse of Doom. When the pet dies, use Unholy Accession in the grace round. Pick the Restless Shadeling next, and use the Plagued Blood, then keep using Death Coil. When the shadeling is about to die, use Shadow Shock. By then, it should kill Nitun, but if not, use Cocoon strike from your Ashwing Moth, and if needed, use Moth Dust.

1st: Unbjorn Val'kyr - Curse of Doom, Unholy Ascension
2nd: Chrominius - Howl, Bite, Surge of Power
3rd: Clockwork Gnome: - Leveling Cooking
After the Val'kyr tossed up Curse of Doom then sacrificed himself, Chrominius came out, Howled, Bit then did Power Surge. Was a close fight, but the damage from the Val'kyr did the bastage raccoon in!

I can't get an unborn Valkyr to save my life but consider this:
Nitun is a critter with all Beast-type (+dmg to critters) abilities which mean he's not going to tear through Undead the way a normal critter would.
Additionally, as lightly mentioned in other posts his ravage ability will not heal him in killing an undead under any circumstances because the pet does not die with the ravage's hit, but rather at the end of the round.
Consider using Undead pets with Beast-type abilities such as Infested Bear Cub, Giant Bone Spider to name a few I have w/ multiple Beast attacks.
Also, Fossilized Hatchling, Mr. Bigglesworth each can have a single Beast attack with some interesting combos...
So basically, if you can create an all UD/Beast Attack team (or at least the first 2 pets since if your last pet dies, his healing is moot) that can wear him down you can mitigate his heals.

I used all kinds of different groups and strats for this guy and the easiest and most consistent group was simply 3 spiders (God knows there are enough of them to choose from). All with Brittle Webbing, Spiderling Swarm, and Strike (only the Tiny Shale and Giant Bone spiders have different moves). Keep brittle webbing up, use swarm on CD, and fill with strike. I haven't quite been able to take Nitun out with just one spider, but I get him low enough that one or two shots from the second easily finishes him off. I'd have the 3rd in the back just in case of bad RNG.

Most consistent way I've found of taking him down takes only two pets:
24-25 rare Alpine Foxling with Bite, Howl, Dazzling Dance
25 rare Kun-Lai Runt with Thrash, Mangle, Rampage
Any third pet with Beast attacks...just in case. I use a crab with Snap.
Open with the foxling - hit Dazzling Dance right off the bat, then Bite until you know you're about to die. Use Howl on the turn you expect to die, swap in the Runt. Hit Rampage immediately and watch Nitun fall over. :) If for some reason Nitun kills the Runt before the Runt kills him (lucky crit, unlucky miss, etc), the crab (or whatever you choose) can finish him off pretty easily.

I've tryed different setups on those one, but he kills everything within 3 rounds (hitting around 500) often 2 if he has crits (which will hit around 800), that's not counting ravage because that one you can only survive with a defense move. It's saying he has 1398 health here, when i fight hem he has 1800+ and he heals almost to full if he kills one of mine. No idea how to beat this one.

Being as I didn't have 2 maxed undead pets, I tried and won with this team.
1. Fjord Worg pup - Howl first and then leap for damage. If possible, switch out the pet before he dies. However mine died before I could switch and I still won.
2. Scourged Whelpling - Call Darkness and then Shadowflame for damage. Use this pet until you win or it dies. At this point, Nitun should have little health left.
3. Wild Crimson Hatchling - Depending on the amount of health Nitun has left, either use the Lift-off or Breath. In my fight, I had Nitun's health down so low that I just used Breath one time to finish the fight.

My 2-pet strategy:
Darkmoon Zeppelin
or
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
: use Decoy, then swap to:
Zandalari Anklerender
/
Kneebiter
: use Black Claw, then Hunting Party.
If he's not dead when Hunting Party ends, one attack should finish him off. The Decoy is very important as without it the Zandalari raptor won't survive until the second round when the double damage debuff is in effect.
If you don't have a Zeppelin/Dragonling, it's possible a group wide speed buff like Dazzling Dance from any fox pet might do the job as well, however I haven't tested this.

My setup was
Ji-Kun Hatchling
2x Crows (From Darkmoon Faire)
I started with Ji-Kun which was useless on this fight cause when he was dead Nitun was at 100% health, but my 2 crows absolutely owned him, I even missed one attack.
I used Call Darkness, then Nocturnal Strike since it has 100% hit chance when you got the Darkness weather effect, then I just spammed Alpha Strike.
I think 3 crows would be a 100% guaranteed kill on this guy, only done him once so not sure if 2 crows is a guaranteed win but it was really easy and my 2nd crow had 40% hp left.
Also would like to note GIlnean Raven (worgen specific pet) has same skill setup I used except just a different breed (unless you have/can grab the older ones with other breeds then B/B like P/B etc).

I have none of the Howl/Dazzling Dance pets and no really strong beasts. However, I found an extremely effective strategy with
Willy
.
I sent him out first, slowed Nitun with
Eye Blast
, transformed him with
Rot
, and used
Tongue Lash
until Willy was beaten.
That can take Nitun pretty far down. He'll probably still be undead, so you could finish him off with any strong critter next, or use a beast just in case. Either way, make sure they have strong burst damage and a way to keep up the speed advantage if necessary.
On my first attempt, I followed Willy up wth a scorpid, and that worked out fine, using the damage of
Rampage
and its slowing ability,
Screech
when needed. I didn't even need my third pet at all with this combination. Best bet would be another similar beast who can slow or boost their speed, in case things go south at some point.
If you go the critter route for pet #2, though, I would recommend any normal squirrel, including
Nuts
. They have strong damage abilities against undead and a speed boost.
It can be sensitive to RNG, of course, but it worked way better for me than straight three beast teams without having any foxes or similar.

I started with Ghaz'rooki and used whirlpool into a few bites before swapping out at low health, to the Darkmoon Zeppelin. First I used decoy, then spammed missile until I was 1 hit from death, then lined up an explosion to come in after the mechanical passive revived me. After I exploded, he was only on 100 HP and a burrow from my snake finished him off, with my only death coming as a result of the suicide explosion, so he never healed.

Then any healing pets, magical crawdad/sunflower are good. I"ve used Craw with Pterrodax hatchling or a bear with hibernate. Just stay healed through 15 rounds, pretty easy, and even if only cockroach/bettle is left at end (why I swap out right away) he's immune to Apocalypse.
1 shot all of these my first time through. Just was coming here for something else and stumbled on these pages with people seeming having issues.

Zandalari Kneebiter and Sunreaver Construct can two man this. Open with kneebiter, using black fang and then hunting party. He should kill you, at which point you should pull out your sunreaver construct. Use haywire. GG, easy kill.

Undead Valkyr, Alpine Foxling, Jumping Spider
I don't know if I got lucky but I just owned him so easily!
Start with the valkyr>Curse of Doom>Haunt
Send out the fox>Dazzling Dance>Howl>Bite>Bite
Won
I think I may have had some luck with what moves nitun used i will find out tomorrow when I go back for the daily but good luck to all who try this method.
Btw my Undead Valkyr is only level 22 uncommon and my fox is 25 common.
Good luck!

Even though he is a critter he isn't immune to the Sleep from
魯虞飛蛾
I used 3 of them to beat him at 1/27/2014 so its currently in effect. I used
繭囊攻擊
first then
飛蛾粉塵
(my jaw dropped when I saw it put him to sleep guessing its bugged currently because critters are meant to be immune to Sleep) and then I filled in with
突然襲擊
when the other abilities were on CD.
Hope this helps someone out there that are still building their pet collection.
Note: I havn't tested other CC to see if its weakness to
魯虞飛蛾
's sleep is the only bugged CC its not immune to.

My strategy for this guy, in case it helps anyone:
Pet 1: A Ghostly Skull at least at level 20. Maxing out its level, making it rare, and going for a H/P breed are all helpful, but unnecessary. If you happen to have a level 20+ Unborn Val'kyr, that'll also do.
Pet 2: I prefer either a Scourged Whelpling or Fossilized Hatchling. If you have both, you can use them and ignore Pet 3.
Pet 3: Anything with decent Beast attacks should do well here.
Start with Ghostly Skull. Just throw out as much damage as you can before it dies, then use Unholy Ascension on the extra turn you get from the Undead racial.
Next, throw out your next pet, and spam Tail Sweep if you're using the Whelpling, Claw if you have the Hatchling. If Nitun survives, your third pet should be able to finish with whatever Beast attacks you have.
A piece of advice for the Legendary Beasts in general: do not bother trying to level pets with them, as they give crap for experience.

An Alterac Brew-Pup running Tough 'N Cuddly, Call the Pack + Bite took down most of this pet, with a Jademist Dancer's Rain Dance (+ Acid Rain if you want to get crazy), into Spineclaw Crab's Rip + Blood in the Water, destroying what remained. Just swapped pets, no need to let them die, if you get the combo off, I just lost the Pup.

Pet 1: KunLai Runt - Resistant to Critter attacks and Mangle + Rampage brought him under 700
Pet 2: Twilight Spider - Brittle Webbing, Poison Spit, and Leech Life
Pet 3: Corehound Pup - Never even used him.
I tried the Undead thing, but didn't work well for me. I went completely for things with Critter Damage and Defense. Brittle Webbing was most effective. I might try all Spiders next time.

Beasts of Fable
The most effective team I've found so far for all of the beasts is
未誕生的華爾琪
,
克羅米尼斯
and a backup of your choice. You should finish the fight within about 5-7 rounds. However, try to pick a good backup for each beast in case RNG is not on your side and you need a couple of extra attacks.
Start with your
未誕生的華爾琪
and cast
厄運詛咒
. Follow up with
暗影斬擊
and then
邪惡飛升
.
* You may be able to do an extra
暗影斬擊
but do
NOT
do more than 4 rounds (
厄運詛咒
,
暗影斬擊
(x2),
邪惡飛升
). If you are killed the round that you do
邪惡飛升
and you have an extra cast use
暗影斬擊
.
Don't swap your pet out manually as you will lose a turn.
Swap in
克羅米尼斯
once
未誕生的華爾琪
is dead. Start off with
嚎叫
. Next use
能量奔騰
.
厄運詛咒
will hit with both
嚎叫
and
邪惡飛升
up (either after
嚎叫
or
能量奔騰
; doesn't matter). This should kill him, but if not, when
克羅米尼斯
dies swap in your backup and finish him up. If
克羅米尼斯
doesn't die after recharging,
撕咬
until either you or the beast is dead before you switch.
Special note about
『漫遊者』提恩
: You will need your backup pet
most
of the time due to the mitigated damage from
甲殼護盾
.
吉爾尼斯烏鴉
is a good choice of backup but any will work; you shouldn't need more than 1-2 extra hits anyway.
** Edited to rephrase for all beasts. **

I tried a few different suggestions. I guess I got lucky but this is what I used. Rare lvl 23 alpine fox started with dazzling dance then howl switched to rare lvl 25 Sunreaver micro-sentry surge then haywire, he dies and fail-safe kicks in. switched to rare lvl 25 Amethyst Spiderling hit with brittle webbing then spiderling swarm and then Nitun was dead. Good luck to all.

This is a tough one, but finally beat them with an udead, mechanical and a beast pet.
I started with
巨型骸骨蜘蛛
. This guy took Nitun to 900 hp. Since the spider is undead, Nitun's heal attack does not work.
Second pet I used was
XT小小拆解者
, who dropped a bomb and managed one attack before he was killed. I pulled him before he died a second time to avoid NItun's heal attack. Nitun now had 300 hp.
I finished with
奧特蘭克酒桶犬
, who only had room for one attack. But as a beast pet, when low on health his attack is stronger and his chomp annihilated Nitun.
I think the key here is using an undead team. Since the spider was my only undead at level 25 I had to do it this way, so you can improvise.
Good Luck all :)

In-Depth for this battle:
04. Nitun (key is to not let him kill anyone (and Undead pets doesn't die...)):
Open with Unborn Val'kyr and Curse of Doom 1st round, Haunt 2nd. Bring in Spirit Crab and just Snap all the way. If needed, bring in 3rd and finish him off.

World of Warcraft, Pandaria Pet Battle Guide.
My fastguide is the notes I have made for myself to get through the dailys in Pandaria a little quicker. The order they follow is the most effecient way to get to all 22 if you look at the world map, starting from the Shrine of Two Moons.
With this guide you should get some nice Pet Battling stuff and make a
few hundred gold and 500 timeless coins on the Pandaria dailys every day.
Some days you get a pet worth (Auction house) appx 500-1500g in addition
to the usual stuff.
This should be all you need to conquer the dailys.
Good luck and happy pet-battling!

I followed the strategy I used with other Beasts of Fable and it worked really well.
Start with
Unborn Val'kyr
Round 1: curse of doom
Round 2: shadow slash
Round 3: unholy ascension (switch to
Chrominius
)
Round 4: Howl
Round 5: surge of power (Nitun died)
Had my
Core Hound Pup
in reserve but never used it.

killed this with 2 commonly found rare pets.
feverbite hatchling - or any spider. -- brittle webbing - strike until almost dead. switch to crow before dead.
crow - nocturnal strike - call darkness - peck unless cooldown is available.
i had an azure whelpling on standby in case i needed to nuke with surge of power. i didn't need it though.

I was hating on Nitun after he pwned my 3 undead "cannot fail" team.
Sooooo I threw Lil Bad Wolf in the first slot and he soloed Nitun's *ss.
I used the Beast skill CLAW and the +100% damage skill HOWL and didn;t need anything else.
The RNG Gods were smiling on me as Nitun missed 1 attack but I think Ima keep LBW in the 1st slot for next time.
Good Hunting!

The problem here is his ability to gain a lot of health if he kills one of your pets because of
Ravage
, so my strategy uses
Darkmoon Zeppelin
.
First
Missile
, then
Decoy
and after a couple of shots right before he kills you (remember its a mechanical pet so it will resurrect) use
Explode
.
With this Nitun should have 30% to 40% life.
Finalize with
Alpine Foxling
or
Chrominius
or any other pet that have
Howl
plus some burn skill like
Surge of Power
.
In any case, prefer to change pets other than let one die.

I have been struggling a little with this one. But after i took down Ka'wi the Gorger easily with my Zandalari Anklerender, I thought i would give it a go with Nitun aswell.
I used Black Claw first then Hunting Party.
Nitun died in the 2nd round of Hunting Party. And my raptor had around 30-40% hp left. No other pets used.

Ok I went and MADE an account on WoWhead because this guy made me SO mad (I had about a good 100 or so attempts on him before I figured it out)
I did
EVERYTHING
people said on here. Even spent like 2 hours leveling 2 extra undead (only had one at level 25). NOTHING WORKED. I even tried using a roach with Apocolaspe, couldn't last the 15 rounds.
THIS IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME:
Slot 1: Alpine Foxling lvl 22, Uncommon, breed S/S
Abilities: Bite, Howl, Dazzling Dance
Slot 2: Speedy lvl 25, Rare
Abilities: Bite, Healing Wave, Headbutt
Slot 3: Elfin Rabbit lvl 25, Rare, breed B/B
Abilities: Flurry, Dodge, Burrow
It actually worked out that I just got done leveling the Elfin Rabbit for another Tamer I was having issues with (the Thundering Pandaren Spirit). Here's exactly what happened on my fight.
Round one:
Nitun used Prowl, I used Dazzling Dance
Round two:
I used Bite, Nitun used Rake
Round three:
I used Howl, Nitun used Ravage
My fox died, but the bite only did like 150 dmg so I was ok with it. Nitun healed to full health.
Round four:
I used Headbutt (remember Howl? :)), Nitun's second Ravage
Headbutt ended up hitting for 950 dmg :D
Round five:
I used Bite (hit for 612 with howl), Nitun used Rake
Round six:
I used Bite, Nitun used Ravage
Round seven:
I switched to Elfin Rabbit, Nitun's second Ravage (which hit the rabbit not the turtle, hence saving it from dying)
Round eight:
I used Burrow, Nitun used Rake (which didn't hit the rabbit because of the speed)
Round nine:
my Burrow hit Nitun and I WIN :D
I was so excited as you can imagine after so many losses, I thought it might be a fluke.....so I did it again. It took me a few tries to get Nitun to do the right opening combo so that he'd kill my fox again at the right time, but on like the 4th try I killed him again, and didn't even need my rabbit! The trick is to KNOW which round your fox will die BEFORE you pick your ability. Use your Howl at that time.

After two attempts with all beasts (with all abilities doing bonus critter damage) I decided to take a different approach.
I used my undead Unborn Val'kyr (level 19 only) with the ability Haunt,
an Alpine Foxling (25) with abilities Bite, Howl and Leap
and my Panther Cub (25) with abilities Claw, Screech, Prowl.
My Unborn Val'kyr went first, and I immediately used Haunt. Secondly, I used my Alpine Foxling, casting Howl, then doing Leap to increase speed. I then used Bite. If the Foxling isn't dead by this point, use Bite again. After that pet is dead, use the Panther Cub and case Prowl, then Claw. Nitun had already died by then. Just keep casting Claw.
Hope this helped. I was rather surprised that two level 25s and a 19 could take down an elite when three of my 25s couldn't do so :)

I just beat this guy using my Unborn Val'kyr and Alpine Foxling. Didn't even have to let my snake come out to play.
Curse of Doom, Haunt, Howl, Leap, Leap, Fox dies, Doom pops and Val'kyr makes her last hit.
It's totally worth haunting spots on Northrend for the Val'kyr. I picked up a grey, then a month later got a Flawless Battle stone which I used on her. She's pretty badass.

Undead pets work best - here's my strategy and please let me know if it works good for you!
I used three undead pets, all three rare level 25 (I plucked them off the auction house), and I used them in the following order:
Macabre Marionette, Fossilized Hatchling, and I didn't even need to use the Stitched Pup but he was there anyway.
Start off with the Marionette, use the spells in the following order: Macabre Maraca, Macabre Maraca, then Dead Man's Party until your Marionette dies.
Then bring out the Fossilized Hatchling, and use Bone Prison, Bone Bite, Bone Bite, Bone Bite, then Nitun should be dead.
If your Hatchling does die, bring out the Stitched Pup and use: Howl, Diseased Blood, Diseased Bite.
Lemme know if this helps!

I agree that undead pets work great here, because Nitun can't cast his huge self-heal when they die and rez.
I used:
1. Rare level 25 B/B Unborn Val'kyr: Curse of Doom, Haunt.
2. Rare level 25 H/P Ghostly Skull: Shadow Slash, Spectral Strike, Unholy Ascension.
3. Rare level 25 P/P Kun-Lai Runt: Rampage.
The two undead pets whittled Nitun's health down to 320 hit points. Kun-Lai Runt finished off Nitun with a Rampage.

Since I had none of the recommended lvl25's, I tried something totally different that had worked well for me on a different battle (Dos-Ryga.)
I used a rare lvl25 Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling & an uncommon lvl25 Gilnean Raven.
I did not need a 3rd pet.
I lead with the Gryphon & used Flock until the Gryphon died.
Then brought out the Raven & cast Call Darkness, followed by Nocturnal Strike. I had to fill in with Peck until Nocturnal Strike was available again, but the 2nd Nocturnal Strike killed Nitun, and my Raven still had more than 50% health left.
So, perhaps try this & see if it works for you :)

Zandalari Anklerender - lvl 25
Zandalari Kneebiter - lvl 25 (only needed for backup)
Round 1 - Start with Darkmoon Zep - DECOY
Round 2 - Bring in Zandalari Anklerender

Round 4 - HUNTING PARTY
Round 5 - HUNTING PARTY continues
The end. Only need the third pet in something tragic happens.

Just finished this fight after reading the comments (in patch 5.4) and wanted to add how I managed it without farming specific pets. I used level 22 Scourged Whelpling, 25 Core Hound Pup and 25 Sea Gull
I threw my level 22
Scourged Whelpling
in first, cast Call Darkness and Plagued Blood (for the itty bitty heals) then essentially waited to die casting Shadowflame and watching for the stealth. HERE IS THE IMPORTANT BIT THOUGH
If he does not stealth while your undead pet is out he probably will for your next pet so be prepared! I did this three times trial and erroring until I found a good pattern for it. I send my Sea Gull in since he had the speed for the early rounds and as soon as he stealthed I used Lift-Off and avoided the big hit. Another perk to the sea gull is the good damage of Thrash and his other hits don't really phase you too much because you're flying so you can last a good while, even using Adrenaline Rush when your initial speed falls off.
I used Core Hound pup briefly after he stealth killed my Whelpling, (Using howl and burrow) but when he didn't stealth for a while I got cold feet and called in my Sea Gull instead who finished up the job nicely!

1st round Apocalypse and then I just had to survive the 15 rounds. I found it easy with the moths as they take less damage from Nitun's beast abilities and being able to block attacks is a bonus.

25 uncommon- Unborn Val'kyr (2,2,2) - shadow shock > curse of doom > unholy ascension
25 rare - Alpine Foxling (1, 2, 2) - dazzling dance > howl > bite
Nitun died after second bite; Alpine Foxling was still at 960/1465 health at the end.
I also had 25 rare - Stunded Shardhorn in reserve but didn't need him.
Hope this helps!
