This thing's a real money maker, and I made over a thousand gold just by making this one in a few hours. At least it was the case for me, being the only one selling this minor glyph for a whole day on my server, and probably and hopefully still the only one for another day or two.

Fellow scribes, consider yourself lucky if you get your hands on this one; as rogues are very common on most servers, and this glyph is so funny that I believe only the fewest will not get themselves one.

This glyph is extremely helpful when in Nagrand, or any Outlands zone for that matter. Pop sprint, get out of combat or vanish, then mount on your flying mount and be on your way. Better than swimming to the edge of the pool of water, in my opinion.

Fun and a bit dangerous Glyph, if you jump off a high cliff you'll die on impact with the water. In fact as long as the Glyph is active water will be like solid ground with what ever you do with it, fishing, mounting, jumping on it :P. Anyway great Glyph :D!

As far as I'm concerned, this is pretty much a mandatory glyph for a rogue. Minor glyphs are never hugely useful, but I use Sprint a ton just for the water walking now.

If you get thrown into water during an encounter, jump + pop Sprint and head back to land.

In world PvP, heading to a river of any appreciable length (or even just open water if you need to), will give you enough time to restealth or heal.

If you're farming anything in the water, you can jump out and pop Sprint, then just sit down on the water to eat.

In Outland and Northrend, being able to Sprint and fly your mount right out of the water saves a ton of time.

As an added bonus, it seems like a lot on non-rogues are largely unaware of this functionality. For both offense and defense, an instant reliable and non-dispellable water walking up your sleeve is quite useful.

As of 3.2.0 you can no longer mount while running on water, you will simply fall through it. And as an insult to injury you will no longer be able to sprint across water for the duration of that sprint :( A sad day for rogues indeed.Not as epic as swirlyball..but still a sad day when all of our fun toys get nerfed =/

Had great fun in ab on my rogue today :D this with sprint glyph at level 60 is so much fun. Make urself subtility rogue and have 30seconds on water with preparation.

Basically two guys were behind me behin the BS, I pop sprint and jump, before hitting the water I use my cloak tinker and follow up with landing on the water and sprinting away :) itsso fun to escape others :P best part is one guy jumped down so I vanished, preparation to reuse sprint and went towards the dude. Bam ambush and seeing him trying tofight in water made me laugh I was hitting my attacks and he died.

Suggest everyone takes this and uses it :D

In cata its is possible to become incredibly mobile as a rogue. https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/spell=14063# brings your stealth speed down to 85% normal speed add to this 迅足 and you now have a stealth speed of 100% normal run speed. now comes the fun part, by stacking , 燒焦的雕紋 and 燒焦的雕紋 you can now have and lets put 燒焦的雕紋 in there too. with all this together you can remove all movement impairing effects vanish and run across the water at a top speed of 230% normal speed IN STEALTH ON WATER and when at this speed its improved stealth too, after a few seconds it drops down to 215% normal speed STILL IN STEALTH AND ON WATER. a rogue with all this can escape a bad situation with ease in both PvP and PvE (though the water part is not as useful in PvE) so if you are planing on doing PvP in cata or are leveling a new rogue in cata I highly recommend stacking this up as this with both save you in solo and PvP and also save repairs in instances because you can now flee at faster then epic ground mount speed anywhere in the world for a short time wile in stealth.

As WyriHaximus said, it's dangerous to use sprint with this glyph if you're falling into water from somewhere high up (but you can survive if you keep the camera facing down and hold both mouse buttons together). One trick that no one has mentioned yet is that you can make campfires in the middle of the ocean with this glyph. Not practical, but very funny.
