It's a very small upgrade when put side by side, especially when you look at other upgrades, such as the pants or the chest of T5 being insanely better. It's not a terrible upgrade, but if you have access to all pieces of Tier 5, I'd recommend bidding on other pieces, since this is a minor upgrade versus others.

Of course, that's not to say this isn't a good place to start working on your Tier 5 set if you're after it. It's a good, solid piece for any Druid, tree, Dreamstate, or Swiftmend hybrid.

Well i wouldn't really take these for healing beyond trying to get the set bonus if you really need them.
These
https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=30029 are far superior, extra spirit (especially with 2.4) is well worth the very small loss in healing, and i believe the mp5 about evens out.

As well, again unless you need the set bonus, Mitts of the TreeMender ( https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=28521 ) are just as viable as another option, and much easier to get

Socketed with 2x Teardrop Living Ruby ( https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=24029 ) the statistical difference is :

-1 stam
-5 int
-10 spi
+23 healing
- 9mp5

While you do lose the regen compared to t5, the +23 healing is nothing to scoff at, especially if your already stacked on mana regen

If your wanting the socket bonus using a Royal Nightseye ( https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=24057 )
and Luminous Noble Topaz ( https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=24060 ) the stat difference is :

-1 stam
-1 int
-7 spi
+ 5 healing
- 7 mp5

While again a regen loss, its does present a more evened out stat choice then the 2x Living Ruby sockets
