These are actually relatively nice for a druid from my perspective. The Armour on them is pretty good although not as high as other items, but the agility and dodge rating make up for this.

The stats depends on the enchant you would take for the boots.

"Boots of Effortless Dodging" would be a better name, given the less +hit and less agility from the much easier to get Edgewalker Longboots (taking a potential +8 agil gem into account). At least those boots are actually long... :-)

Not much of an upgrade for any easily attainable boots.

https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=29248 for instance beat them on useful stats (Ignoring the +dodge), although they come from the last boss of Heroic Arcatraz so it's dabatable as to how "easy" they are to get.

I previously slated these boots. They dropped on wednesday for us and I bid 5ppr (our minimum amount) coz I wanted to try them out. I stuck a +15 agi enchant on them. Now granted I went from +237 down to +210 hit at the time every and i mean -every- other stat that matters to rogues increased, HP, agi, crit, AP, armour. I now wear these all the time and i look for other items to increase my +hit.

Aside from the +hit these boots rock and have totally changed my opinion of them.

What is easy to forget, is that once you reach the +hit cap as a rogue, you don't need +hit to increase your raid buffed dps... and tbh you're probably trying to find ways to drop hit.

based on my current +hit... these boots are actually an overall dps upgrade. I guess once you start filling slots with T5, and SSC/TK weaps, rings, trinks etc... you're usually at or near the hit cap already.

Edgewalker never seem to drop for me and even though I am currently using the fel leather boots I would still take these (if no druids wanted them) as it would allow me to put my poison vial back on to retain my hit cap.

These boots aren't as bad as everyone is making them out to be.

I myself am hit capped, and once I get the sword off Morogrim I'm going to have 20 extra hit. Picking up boots like these or another piece of hitless SSC/TK gear doesn't seem like such a bad idea then ...

Plus, you might have a Draenei in your group, or a Balance Druid with Imp FF in your raid. All that +hit on your gear is wasted, then.

As a Leatherworker you can get Boots of Utter Darkness (crafted) which have decent amounts of all the stats you need in raids.

Just picked these up tonight as a hunter; no rogues or druids wanted. I think they are a little bit better than fiend slayer boots from karazhan. Brings up my paper doll dps with more AP and a little crit. As survival I don't think they are bad but I'm still debating.

Kitty druids don't need as much +hit. A pretty decent item for the kitty druid and with lots of STA and AGI on it can make for a solid tanking piece if you have enough armor on your other pieces.

well but comparing them to Sure-Step Boots is ridiculous. the epix from the raid instances are not tooooo much of an upgrade, but they are an upgrade. and I think 9agi 2AP 28dodge ARE an upgrade ;:D:D

i copied my char on the testrealm and noticed that the boots will get a strong buff
