I can't see the point of the Khorium stuff. It's for healing paladins because of the set bonus, but it's a spell damage item rather than healing, with no spell crit. It might be nice for prot paladins except it has no defense.

No wonder it doesn't sell for much, so few people would want this item compared to how many are made for leveling blacksmithing.

I agree that the mats are a bit expensive and you are going to be hard pressed to sell for anywhere near a profit.

On the other hand that mats for this item are not that hard to farm, and make it possible to craft for Smithing Skill ups without much difficulty.

On my server (US- Gorgonnash-PvP) I was able to sell the ten of these I made for 30-35g each very quickly, helping to recoup some of my costs for grinding Blacksmithing.

just have spent nearly 1500 gold for 60 primals and 45 khorium bars to get 15 bs skill :( that was f*** pain in ass... ill try sell it now and i hope that i will get at least 50% of that amount back ;(

If you're an enchanter or know an enchanter, disenchanting these and selling the shards is also a good idea if you're skilling up Blacksmithing.

The money from the shards will help you buy more mats or at least bring some of the money back if you're having trouble selling these.

First: These plans are BoP, however they only show up for Blacksmiths (even in a party)

Second: If you can wear plate, you can wear these, however, only Blacksmiths get the set bonus

Third: The only Mob that drops these is the Murkblood Raiders in Nagrand. It is not a world drop. It is also the worst drop rate for any of the BoP BC smithing plans. (Trust me, getting these plans is harder than getting a full set of felsteel plans...)

it drops from murblood raiders in sunfury post in nagrand . i farmed there for about 20 min holy pally so mayby a bit faster if ur dmg specc the boots drop in netherstrom from some ghost in a ruin near a 52 (ruins of enkaat) not sure what mobs .
the legs drop from the death forge in shadowmoonvalley not sure what mobs there either gl ;)
btw i can make them all on bloodhoof

The area to farm the belt it Sunspring Post, and they are Murkblood Raider. So hard to search for something that is not on file. Hope this helps others.

The area to Farm Is Sunrise! BUT!
Be prepared to spend a couple hours there at least.
Of course there are the ones that have Horsehoes Up thier behinds, and will probably get it dropped in the first 10 minutes. ;-))
Took me 3 hours of constant killing.
If others are there come back when it is empty, otherwise you will just spend a LOT more time trying to get it/
This also is a BOP item, so don't farm unless you need it.
One big plus though about this area, you will get a lot of Halaa Power Crystals, and Cloth. I got a few nice green drops also, just remeber paitence is the key here!

I was questing in that area, and I killed about 5 and got this drop. I was excited, to say the least, as I didn't even know it dropped from the mobs I was grinding.

I farmed for 1 hour for these on my 70 combat swords rogue, in that time I managed to find 2x Plans: Black Fel Steel Bracers, and about 90xnetherweave.

Talk about luck, they're going to fund my jump to dragonmaw. =D

I'm not certain how many of the raiders I killed to get this, but I did get 140 netherweave, 13 - 15 gold, a couple of greens, and thoroughly bored before a friend joined me and presto! 15 minutes later, it dropped.

As a 70 holy/prot pally, I found I could easily take on two or three raiders, the odd group of scavengers, and a putrifier if I stepped too close to one. Since there are two groups of two raiders who patrol along the paths, it's reassuring to know that getting blindsided by other mobs is far from fatal. Fortunately, they respawn fairly quickly, so there's always something to kill. Also got one 66 orc rogue.

If you need a Khorium Belt or Khorium Pants on Jaedenar, let Gimlix know. 363 blacksmithing, so after making a couple more, I'll be able to do the Khorium Boots (require 365 b/s) as well – already have the plans; getting them was much easier.

I was doin the kill some raiders and putrifiers quest and got these from a raider.

At the time i didnt know it was a drop. So i had 2 do 2 items 2 lvl and make em for my holly pally.

After gettin em i decided 2 farm for the full set.

haha, just got mine, only farmed for like 25mins, killed bout 15-18 raiders. i guess it droped so fast cus i was hopeing to make more gold from the farming, only made 3g, and bout 12 netherweave

20 mins farming whith the help of a mage friend. since it went that fast i went farming for ragesteel gloves right after (from the boulderfist warriors). 20min there to and they dropped aswell:D.

I have a pally miner/bs - 375/355 i thought i level up bs and the guide i read said get these plans, so i read through the comments and thought id just grind it out. I got this on my 7th raider after 13 minutes of grinding...

You do not need to have 350 BS to wear this. I bought a piece to try it out, I can equipped it.

Now I am assuming it is the set bonus I need 350 BS for.
