Received at around level 20 after the completion of the mentioned quest (Traitor's Destruction) in the Ghostlands, Horde-only. Needless to say, it's a great weapon and even preferred by some paladins over their class-specific weapon, the Blood-tempered Ranseur (and easier to get, too) due to the Sin'dorei Warblade's higher top-end damage.

Got this weapon at lvl 16 with help by a lvl 37rouge.
With SoR and retribution aura you are dangerous ,the yellow qst felt like green qsts.i will use this weapon till i got the ranseur in lvl 20.

to get the sowrd you have to do 6 q the 1st 4 q you can do it with out help the 5th q you will need one m8 the 6th q you will need a group at (least 3 m8), dont take less then lvl 17.

One of the best (and one of the only free) 10-19 twink weapons. On my hunter I got the bow at lvl 17 so the quest can be completed in time for 10-19 pvp. Great way for the average player to compete with twinks. Good weapon 'till the mid 20's.

Yes this is a very nice weapon in the lvl 10-19 bracket of PvP, I visited a website that had some nice Lore over this weapon but "Above the handle of the Blade" there is a Insignia looking like the Scarlet Crusade and the Sin'Dorei S mixed wich does add alot of detail to the weapon. The Speed on the weapon isnt that nice but if you are a Enchanter or Blacksmith you can add a Haste Stone to the weapon or you'r gloves if you are an Enchanter. "This weapon is available to any Race but not every Class" !

Oh, and if you did not know but Sin'Dorei mean's Blood of the Elves wich Kael'Thes or however you spell it named the Elves after the Fallen Elves in the eent before the First World War. So that is how we got our name Sin'Dorei !

I don't know what these people have been smoking that has them thinking a slow weapon is inferior to a faster weapon.

For paladins especially, slow is good. Seal of Command procs 7 times per minute. What this means is:

A 2.0 speed weapon will proc ~23% of the time.
A 3.0 speed weapon will proc ~35% of the time.
A 3.8 speed weapon will proc ~44% of the time.

The slower the weapon, the more of that weapon's base DPS gets converted into extra holy damage via SoC. The slower the weapon the more DPS the better.

Gear choices for ret paladins and arms warriors converge. While arms warriors don't use Seal of Command they do use Mortal Strike, which is largely equivalent to Crusader Strike. Both are a "free" additional weapon swing. Smaller weapons do less damage per swing, thus yield less DPS bonus from MS or CS than a slower weapon of the same or even less base DPS.

You're absolutely correct. The weapon speed has no effect on how often the seal will proc, that's the point of "procs per minute". The advantage of a slower weapon is that when it does proc (same chance with fast or slow weapon) it will hit much harder.

In your example:

"So although the 4.0 weapon has a larger chance per swing to proc, it also swings half as fast as the 2.0 weapon with the smaller chance."

With two weapons of the same dps, one with a 4.0 weapon speed will hit twice as hard as one with a 2.0 weapon speed, and as we've already established, they both have the same proc rate, the 4.0 weapon will double the dps of instant attacks.

Just picked this up on my Blood Elf Paladin. A very good sword that fights as sexy as it looks. Received at level 18 with the help of a 70 Mage.

Can be used as a twink sword in the 10-19 PvP bracket. If in the area, grab the Blue Cape from Tranquillien (If Exalted).

here is a list of excellent weapons for palys from level 20-29:

1. sin'dorei warblade (from quest)
2.corpsemaker (can be found in RFk)
3. Butchers slicer (can be found in SFK)
4. blood-tempered ranseur (from quest)
5. cobalt crusher (VERY rare drop)

i suggest you go for the cobalt crusher. try any times untill you get it. its very nice looking and the DPS is bludy amazing!

I was able to get this blade Alliance side indirectly. I had a blood elf character who did this quest. Liked the blade so much that I kept it as part of a dess/RP outfit just to wear around. My guild fell apart and I stopped playing for a little while. After some time I met some new friends that were playing on Alliance side. By then my BE was already 80 so I did a faction change. The sword transferred with me in its original form so I was able to keep it. Ironically I picked a Draenei, so that would make my toon probably one of maybe a small handful of Draenei or Alliance who have a BE quest blade.

Got this on my Human Warrior.
I faction changed to Horde a while ago cus I got bored of Alliance, and while there I got a Bloodhawk Claymore and this sword.
Found out Horde was populated by raging kids so I swiftly moved back to Alliance.

With the Faction Change option, you get given a vast variety of items only available to one faction become available to the other.
I once had a Human Warlock running around in the Horde's Tranquilen Rep set.

I concur that this needs a revived, buffed form for high levels. I sorely miss wielding this blade, and did it with pride (for too long into the 20's) even as an orc. It seems like Blizzard devoted enough attention to actual weapons 4 years ago post-vanilla, not just balancing DPS and stats on some plain mace or stick to be shined out by Hurricane. Deep Thunder? Bloodmoon? True weapons. Sin'dorei Warblade was outstanding for such a low level.

If you have this sword as Horde then Faction Change to Alliance, you will still have the Sword. This is the ONLY way for an Alliance player to possess the Sword. I found it funny that I still had it when I went Alliance.

Edit - Patch 7.0.3: This weapon may be unlocked in the transmogrification wardrobe for use by any character that can wield a two-hand sword.

just got it today on my lvl 90 undead warrior. You don't need to "unlock" the questline nor do the zone's starting quests either, just go find the first quest that starts the super easy questchain of about 5-6 short quests till you get to the final quest that rewards the sindorei sword. Uploaded a pic of the blade, hope the site accepts it and posts it on the item gallery.

There's a short mini-chain to get this sword:

It starts with 旅行者營地, which is a breadcrumb to get 背叛者的陰影. You go click on a book for 過去的線索, then return to the original questgiver for 向博學者坎德立斯回報. He has one more errand, 雙子通靈塔, then gives you 叛國者的毀滅. Congrats on your new 辛多雷戰刃! I did it at 90 for transmog, and even though you can't fly in the Ghostlands, it only took about fifteen minutes and was actually kind of fun and relaxing. :)

I wish i could have gotten this weap at an earlier lvl, not many ppl on where I work nightshift n i couldnt get a group. Soloed the quest at 25 n got it, I must say, even at 25, i was impressed. Still using it at 28 n still going strong. With my blessing of might on, i crit for about 180-220 with it along with my seal of richeousness (yea i cant spell lol) can do an additional 100 or so. I cant say much for other classes, but with a pally, whether u get the warblade or not, u'll still pwn everything in ur path. just with the warblade, u dont have to upgrade ur weap every so often, it saves on cash big (dont matter if u got a lvl 70 feedin ya cash 24/7 anyway) cause u can use this from whenever u get it, all the way up til about 30 or so...not to mention its quite pimpin lookin too!

The quest chain starts @ Sanctum of the Sun in Ghostlands. Just do all the quests there & you'll get this weapon. It's that simple.

1. You obtain the quest at level 16 from the dude in the center of the room in the SANCTUM of the SUN.

2. Next you have to go north west on the new quest (cant remember his name to get a journal in Dawnstar Spire.

3. Then bring the journal to the dude in the "sanctum" then he will give you another quest to get some stones. The are in the middle of the map along the scar. There are in two pyramid looking towers called Ziggurats. They are guarded by a group of 3 level 17 mobs i believe once u enter. If u have a 60 bring him it makes quick work of these guys. Inside the middle of these is a chest each one containing a stone thing. One stone in each tower.

4. Bring the stones back to the dude at the sanctum and he will send u to get a head from an 23 elite in Deathholme. The dudes name is Dar'kahan. Then bring his head back and u got yourself a sword er wand er dagger....but this is the sword write up. Sorry about being so vague but hope this help.

Begins: Magister Kaendris at the Sanctum of the Sun loc 55, 48 - Sends you to the Farstrider Enclave to speak to Ranger Vynna. She is at location 71, 32 at the top of the enclave (go up the ramp from the bottom to the left)

She then sends you to Dawnstar Spire, which is in the northeast, loc 78,20. Fight your way inside and up the ramp. mobs are lvl 16 or so. Dusty Journal is on the floor at the top. cant miss it. it completes the quest and gives you quest to return to Ranger Vynna.

Next quest: return to Magister Kaendris. Pick your green quest reward. Yay !

He then gives you a quest, the Twin Ziggurats.
The Howling Ziggurat is at loc 40, 49. there are 4 lvl 17 casters within. the quest item is in the *worn Chest*. Gratz on your stone of flame.
The Bleeding Ziggurat is across the dead scar at loc 34, 49. same story with the mobs within and the quest item location. (note, rare mob spawn within at times). Now you can head back to the sanctum.

Your choice of items. do NOT destroy.

You now have a quest to kill Dar'Khan. Deatholme is to the southwest from the Sanctum, at the base of the Dead Scar, loc 35, 73. Dar is in the biggest tower, in the middle of Deatholme loc 32, 82. two casters on either side of him with skellie pets. I strongly recommend a group for him unless youre uber twinked.

I have just done the chain of quests that are before this one, and they are very easy!, at lvl 20 i suggest for the twin zigurats that you take another person with you, as there are about 5 mage/lock lvl 19 elites, quite easy to kill as they cast there 1 spell for about 4 seconds, and then for the last quest definatly take a few more people, you may think you just agrod the boss dude, but when he fears you, you aggro about 6 lvl 22 elites and they kinda pwn u, so definatly take a friend, or 2, or 3 :)

The last quest is most definatly the hardest and the rewards look wicked =] its a quest worth doing, seeing as you get a free BLUE =]

It took me about 1.5 hours to do the chain quests, and to get to ghost lands but it gives you a good reward for the amount of time you put into it

This weapon is really really nice for a retribution pala from lvl 17-22, i had it and i critted 170 with normal attack, so its a very good weapon for paladins but i dont know if its nice on warriors aswell. But lvl 22 you get a VERY NICE LOOKING polearm ( Paladin quest, not that easy ,you have to do 4 instances, but not full except for RFC ). Its not that nice, but the stats make you keep it. Ill advice u to get Corpsemaker at level 29 and then good luck !:P

I have this on my Paladin. I slapped Crusader on it at level 16 and am using it until I buy an epic weap at 35 or something, I'm level 23 at the moment and can still kill level 30 players! Even without crusaders proc, I noncrit for 250 as level 22 with just a normal mellee swing, this kicks ass.

it's not a good TANKING weapon, if you word it that way, because it's a 2hander...
Tanks should always use a 1hander with a shield.

but anyways, it looks sick, but easily replaced.
Arced War Axe in SFK replaced this thing with me, it was quite depressing. lol
