I ran UD strath about 40 times or so and had not seen this item, finaly just got it a few days ago. I was only priest in the group and the leader sat there asking if anyone else needed it. No one spoke up so he finaly gave it to me. I think I woulda killed someone had he gave it to the mage or someone else.

Yeah... first Baron run, 5-man, the skirt dropped. Oh, look, I'm the only priest... hooray for me. Too bad that these arn't as good as the Spiritshrould Leggings, and the 3-piece set bonus is lame. Oh well, they get to live in the bank untill I aquire more parts...

so the devout bracers and the skirt dropped for me today (that makes 5 peices yay!) but when i went to equip the pants i noticed my mana tank accually went down! i had the kilt from ST on which has less stamina les spirit but more intellect so now i am torn bettween what to wear until i finish the whole set

Well, in the disc tree you can have like 10% mana regen while casting so it is kinda usefull.

If you're having such a problem getting the skirt just go for Padre's Trousers in DMW. %18 chance there, and it only took me 3 tries to get them.

Killed the Baron about 50 times for those dang Devout pants...now he really hates me, he'll never drop them. I've seen every class set drop numerous times, devout will drop eventually.

Done about 10 Baron runs since 1.10 patch and the skirt finally dropped yesterday! Now have to do the Baron run again for the 45 min upgrade quest ^^

3rd baron run ... the stats are worse than on my Spiritshroud Leggings so i will not wear them but upgrade them to virtuous possibly

oh well ^^ too bad set bonuses seem so useless past 200 armor and 23 dmg and healing

i can't even count how many times ive been in ud strat without these dropping. I dont really need them, but to get the tier .5 boots u have to have them. i was finally able to get the boots, but i still need the mantle and the skirt. the upgraded boots to virtuous (7 mana per 5) is the best u can get until bwl.

LOL, i was so lucky, there was this ass of a lock that needed every devout item that dropped, and my first baron kill, i needed and got it! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! now i have 4 pieces of the Devout set. (Hope i get sandals)

Just been on the wow web just to compare the Magisters armor to Devout. They are basically the same. Can someone please tell me why people keep saying Devout's are not meant for Mages? Purely because I got 2 before anyone even told me they were for a priest. wtf? why?

Before TBC, Strat UD was a place I visited many many times, and I never saw it drop ( even when i playing other classes too ! ).

Now with TBC, me and 2 mates still go here quite often because its still one of the best dungeons in WoW ( imo ).

We get the Stones for rep, and because the 45min run is now "guaranteed", thats even more extra rep for killing The Baron, although its not worth a sausage now :D

But even with all the extra runs that we have done ( i dont know how many, but its ALOT ), its never dropped, always seems to be the Lock or Mage gear, with a random Warrior or Pala here and there.

Please, I beg u Blizzard, put me out of my misery, and let the blasted item drop for me :D

The only time i have seen the Devout skirt drop a mage took it. We had finished the fight and as we went to look at loot I was disconnected. When I connected back they asked if anyone else wanted to roll. I went to tell them I needed it and the mage that supposedly won the roll picked them up. So now mages do not get any healing from me. I make sure they die in the most horrible ways. Since then I haven't seen them drop and we have done a lot of baron runs.

Over 15 Baron kill runs (stopped counting at 15) and it dropped. The mage also wanted to roll on them to replace his green pants but the group politly informed him it was the priest set. Lucky is was cool about it.

after 60-70 runs of baron, it finally dropped! ^^, and i skipped MC (dropped pants and gloves) when i was ELIGIBLE to get them > < awwwwwww

how anyone could say this is for priests only just blows my mind... the items are not limited to priests only and this is an awesome set for priest or mage, just because one set has a priesty sounding name and the other set has a magie sounding name does not mean mages should only be allowed to loot magisters and priests only allowed to loot devouts. when it comes down to it, they both have roughly the same stats overall... i added it up, they both have right at +300 total to stats, the magister set just has a higher bonus to int than the priest set, and the priest set has a fairer balance between sta, spr and int. given a choice, i'd personally prefer the devout set for my mage. the only real differences between these 2 sets anyway is the bonus you get for having 6 items. one gives u dmg absorb, the other freezes for 3 seconds.... comes out to about the same dmg u won't b hit for tho.... so to tell mages that they shouldn't be allowed to have these drops just becuz it has a priestish name is just wrong if u ask me. you want to know the exact stat difference between the three sets?

Devout: +124 int, +71 sta, + 105 spr = +300 stats total
Magister: +167 int, +66 sta, +69 spr = +302 stats total

they have the exact same AC and the exact same set bonuses, except for that one for 6 items, which as i pointed out, rly ain't so different afterall...

and um, has anyone noticed mages can already int buff themselves...? if anything i'd prefer the devout set for my mage and the magister set for my priest! jebus, stop bein so greedy priests. this set is NOT meant for priest only, if it were, it would say priest only on it, and mages would not even be able to wear it.

i also took a look at the dreadmist set, which is nearly identical to these... it does however stand out more as it has a significantly larger stat bonus total, tho the 6 set bonus is still similar principal (fear for 2 secs = no dmg taken for 2 secs)...

Dreadmist: +118 int, +114 sta, +95 spr = +327 stats total...

i'd love to get this one for my mage instead of the devouts, cuz hey... look at the extra +27 stats total, but try finding any BoE pieces for sale, not to mention i'm sure u nuts would tell me its warlock set, mages shouldn't have it... (o plz)...

given a choice and the availability of items, i'd get the dreadmist for all 3 classes, but as i've had trouble finding the dreadmists for sale and/or finding them in general, i've gone for the devouts for my mage. i have 3 of these devout pieces already for her and cannot wait for a 4th so she will have the +23 dmg bonus. and yes, unless i happen to find dreadmists beforehand, i plan on getting the magister set for my priest when she is old enough... deal with it.

I started working on my devout drop when I was lvl 55. With in the 1st 5 days I was almost done. I had everything but the skirt.

I just finished running UBRS and got the shoulders and chest. I was happy. The only priest so I got both even tho I was only lvl 56 at the time. Later that night I joined a baron group. The boots dropped but I already had them so the other priest took as UG. At this point I am thinking there is no way the skirt is dropping the same run as the boots since I just had the shoulders and the chest drop.

We get to Ramstein and he drops his lightning bolts. I took them as UG and won the roll. I was like alright this is a cool trinket. We down Baron and low and behold the skirt drops.

Me and the other priest roll and he won with a 64 and I rolled a 10 I was so mad. So never take an UP unless it is your set piece. If you got 3 pieces of your set and dont think the 4th will drop the same day think again. It happened to me and that was my 5th baron run. I am now at 33 baron runs and still no more skirt :(

1sy 7 pieces of the set, 5 days. The last piece, 7 days and still counting. I am hitting lvl 59 tonight and all I have been doing since 55 is strat and scholo runs.

Just added a +8 INT enchant to my devout skirt, very pleased with them now :-) I reckon I'll be using them for quite a while so it was well worth the effort.

You should have heard me on vent when these finally dropped last night. It took me 87 runs into UD strat to get these. Most of those runs they just didnt drop. Some of those runs were 10man and another priest outrolled. A few of the runs I just didnt make it to Baron because I had a noob group. Now I can finally finish my 0.5 set!
