Does this mean that Melee Hit = 50% Spirit, Expertise also = 50% Spirit and Spell Hit = Melee Hit + Spell Hit = 100% Spirit?

Eminence only procs from attacks that do not already have a healing component

So, Spinning Crane Kick, Chi Wave, Zen Sphere, Chi Blast,and Chi Torpedo do not proc eminence.
But, Jab, Crackling Jade Lightning, Tiger Palm, Blackout Kick, Touch of Death, Path of Blossoms, Rushing Jade Wind, and Invoke Xuen: the White Tiger do.

Eminence at first does not proc from melee auto attacks, but after you get Teachings of the Monastery, Blackout Kick will apply a buff called Serpent’s Zeal that will cause your melee attacks to also proc Eminence. One stack of Serpent’s zeal grants 25% of auto attack damage as eminence healing, and two stacks grants 50% auto attack damage as eminence healing. It is important to always maintain Serpent’s Zeal when attacking.

Summon Jade Serpent Statues will duplicate all healing done by Eminence. There increasing eminence from 50% of damage to 100% of damage (excluding the abilities listed above that already both heal and damage).

This is the stance of healing monks. The monk takes on the battle-style of the Serpent Celestial, and while in this stance, your character appears to take a more relaxed fighting pose.

An interesting piece of trivia I noticed is that when you activate this stance, a rattlesnake can be heard - even though the "serpents" which symbolise the Mistweaver specilization and this mode are dragons!

Wow. How well does this actually work? With most healing classes, I always travel slow when I'm soloing because I lack dps, but with this stance, it looks different. How well does it wind up working?

I noticed that this stance changes your casting animation to the "monk healing" one, even for other spells. (Crackling Jade Lightning, summoning people with a portal, etc.)

While it's nice, I do wish there was a way to get rid of it. A glyph, maybe?

Just as a note, Stance of the Wise Serpent also increases the auto-attackdamage buff on Way of the Monk by 30% (From 40% -> 70%).
