I love these new spells that Blizz is adding, i was tired about all those shadow and arcane/nature damage, now we are (or will be) real hunters, with more than 1 pet and lots of AoE damage :D!

Allways scout LM in Arathi Basin for hidden hunter since MoP, else they'll Powershot you down from Camouflage

Seems like Horn Toss wasn't good enough, so now they give us something better

As someone playing both a prot warr and a hunter at 90, I'm convinced that Powershot is a talent hunters pick for the sole purpose of annoying others in heroics. Dat knockback.

This can be used underwater.

Edit: Why the hate? The knock back is great (and sometimes hillarious). I like using this spell on sharks as it is awesome to see them flung backwards. If you are fighting a creature who is near the surface and you angle yourself just right you can make the mob jump out of the water into the air. Pretty fun.

This spell seems to be bugged at the moment in PvP. Sometimes, when you use it, it does nothing even though it hits the target. No "dodge" or "miss" message. It just plain does nothing. I recommend taking Glaive Toss instead, since its better and not broken.

I love Powershot...now only if we can get a glyph to make it NOT knock back? Maybe make it a short stun? Positioning yourself to put the mobs back to a wall is gonna be tricky...

Tested Powershot today in Arathi Basin and found the following:-

Powershot will do the knockback if you start firing it whilst Camouflaged, it simply brings you out of Camouflage.

So brilliant shot, especially when, if lined up right, you can knockback lots of targets.

When knockbacks were first introduced, people were already sad that it turned some PvP fights into gimmicks where instead of actually fighting the enemy, you just jockeyed for position to one-shot them. But, there was still some strategy, because you could try to counterposition when you saw them approaching, and they had to get close to you to pull it off. So we lived with it. Mostly.

Now a class with stealth can do it from 40 yards away. That's smart design.
