Given that we had the titan rune dungeons in WOTLK and then that system carried over into Cata, they're 100% going to copypaste it into MoP too.
Allowing LFR tier to drop before Dragon Soul dropped was one of the best decisions they've ever made. LFR in itself was always so miserable, so having the alternative trade off of doing harder dungeons to get early low ilvl tier was very refreshing, rather than spending 6-8+ weeks in the raid in dungeon blues/crafted gear until you might see your four piece (depending on your comp and how tokens are being distributed) was such a great change. Hoping they follow suite and do the same thing.
Actually, it would make a lot of sense if these WERE available at the outset of MoP Classic as a way to cut down on the problems of dailygate. Give people a leg up while they're still doing the THREE REP CHAIN to get to August Celestials Exalted.
So no LFR in MOP too.Good.
Guess we still wont get LFR :(
If there would be no LFR in MoP, how would PUG-neglecting non-guild players be able to complete the Legendary questline, to experience the story that was removed in retail? Why else would someone play MoP classic anyway, if not for lost content?
This could be good for the game, but i would like to point out that LFR was originally a part of getting mats for the legendary quest chain. Also speaking for myself i can say that spamming the same dungeons over and over again, patch after patch gets old. Keep in mind that MoP has about half as much dungeons as Wotlk did so doing this on repeat will probably get old real fast.
I haven't played Classic since WOTLK. Do you mean to tell me they never added in LFR even in Cata Classic? That's silly.
Clearly these are phase 1 LFR items, and LFR will leave the game again. The dungeon journal lists p1 LFR items as "Celestial" items
*makes a one piece joke here*
Lfr was part of the original experience ever since DS and should be there imo, it's an option, you're not forced to run it if you don't like the lfr environment. This as someone who won't play mop classic anyway.
