Mists of Pandaria Classic Pre-Expansion Patch

The Mists of Pandaria Classic pre-patch launches the week of July 1— return to the mystic lands of Pandaria, a world shrouded in fog and mystery. This ancient realm, untouched by time and war, is returning with a renewed sense of wonder and adventure, inviting you to lose yourself again in its lush forests, cloud-ringed mountains, and timeless secrets.

New Playable Race: With the release of the Mists of Pandaria pre-patch, set out as a member of the enigmatic Pandaren and join the ranks of either the Horde or Alliance as you enter the conflict brewing on Pandaria's shores.

New Hero Class: Learn the mystic powers of the Monk—destroy foes with the Windwalker's devastating attacks, replenish allies with the Mistweaver's spiritual energies, and shrug off enormous damage with the Brewmaster's unyielding strength.

Revamped Classes: All classes have been updated with a new talent system, improved abilities, and spells.

AOE Looting: Loot all nearby enemies at once, streamlining the loot process.

World Event: Attack on Theramore Isle: Join the battle and take part in the Theramore’s Fall scenario, detailing events leading up to the expansion's launch.

Pet Battles: Dust off your vanity pet collection and prepare them for new tactical mini-game battles. Need pets? Adopt, don’t shop—tame a slew of new and interesting critters while on your adventures in Pandaria.

What's Inside Mists of Pandaria ClassicWith the launch of Mists of Pandaria Classic on July 21, level through new zones, new dungeons, and new raids, engage in PvP combat, and dive further into the mysteries of Pandaria.

New Level Cap: Ascend to new heights of power as you defend Azeroth, earning new talents every step of the journey to level 90 with extensively reworked talent trees.

Lush New Lands: The Wandering Isle (Levels 1–10), The Jade Forest (Levels 85–86), Valley of the Four Winds (Levels 86–87), Krasarang Wilds (Levels 86–87), Kun-Lai Summit (Levels 87–88), Townlong Steppes (Levels 88–89), Dread Wastes (Levels 89–90), Vale of Eternal Blossoms (Level 90)

Dungeons and Raids: Brave defenders of Azeroth can battle their way through six new dungeons in Pandaria, four revamped Heroic dungeons, and three new raids.

New PvP Arena and Two New Battlegrounds: The gates will open when PvP Season 12 begins the week following launch.

Sunsong Ranch: Embrace a farmer’s life with your own farm, allowing you to plant and harvest crops. Head to the Valley of the Four Winds and start earning reputation with the Tillers to earn a plush plot of soil to till.

Scenarios: Join friends to achieve a common goal, such as mounting a defense against invading monsters, in a flexible new type of queueable "micro-dungeon" PvE challenges in these seven three-player Scenarios.

Challenge Mode Dungeons: Master the ultimate 5-player time trial and earn prestige rewards in a new dungeon mode that will put your resolve and coordination to the test.

Get a Boost from Balnazzar in Season of Discovery

Take advantage of a golden opportunity and get a head start in Mists of Pandaria Classic. Through June 30, successfully defeat Dreadlord Balnazzar in the Scarlet Enclave raid in Season of Discovery to earn one Level 85 Character Boost (Classic Progression), just in time to visit Pandaria.Finish the fight to the end, and your reward will be granted on July 1. And if you’ve already taken down Balnazzar in Season of Discovery, have no fear! You, too, will be granted a Character Boost for your ‘retroactive’ bravery.You must have an active World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time. Only one Level 85 Character Boost (Progression) will be granted per active World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time account.Soar the Skies with a Sage Serpent

Play through the Pandaren starting experience from July 1 through July 30 to earn the mysterious Shaohao's Sage Serpent Skyriding mount in modern World of Warcraft by following a few simple steps:

Install World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic

Create a Pandaren character.

Complete the Pandaren starting experience, including choosing the path of either Alliance or Horde.

Once complete, Shaohao's Sage Serpent will be delivered to your Collection in modern WoW.
