You've ended Deathwing's destructive rampage; now, you must unlock the mysteries of a lost continent and discover the dark secrets of Pandaria's past when World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic launches on July 21.
Your new journey begins with the pre-patch hitting the servers the week of July 1 with regional server restarts.
Explore ancient kingdoms hidden since before the Sundering, plunder vast treasures from the depths of the forgotten vaults, and rise to defend Pandaria from the shadow of a long-buried evil before it is too late.
The Mists of Pandaria Classic pre-patch launches the week of July 1— return to the mystic lands of Pandaria, a world shrouded in fog and mystery. This ancient realm, untouched by time and war, is returning with a renewed sense of wonder and adventure, inviting you to lose yourself again in its lush forests, cloud-ringed mountains, and timeless secrets.
With the launch of Mists of Pandaria Classic on July 21, level through new zones, new dungeons, and new raids, engage in PvP combat, and dive further into the mysteries of Pandaria.
Take advantage of a golden opportunity and get a head start in Mists of Pandaria Classic. Through June 30, successfully defeat Dreadlord Balnazzar in the Scarlet Enclave raid in Season of Discovery to earn one Level 85 Character Boost (Classic Progression), just in time to visit Pandaria.
Finish the fight to the end, and your reward will be granted on July 1. And if you’ve already taken down Balnazzar in Season of Discovery, have no fear! You, too, will be granted a Character Boost for your ‘retroactive’ bravery.
You must have an active World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time. Only one Level 85 Character Boost (Progression) will be granted per active World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time account.
Play through the Pandaren starting experience from July 1 through July 30 to earn the mysterious Shaohao's Sage Serpent Skyriding mount in modern World of Warcraft by following a few simple steps:
Pandaria Awaits
Shaohao's Sage Serpent is only available in Modern World of Warcraft and requires a Subscription or Game Time.
Embrace the power of the Sha with optional Sha-Infused Epic and Heroic Packs to warp your experience with a themed bundle of new items and bonuses.

Well, now I need to create yet another monk for that mount 🐉
What the f is this release timing lol
Hype! <3
So install MoP classic, play panda, get free mount. Easy
Flex raid sizing at launch, or last phase like the 1st time around? Guilds need to know.
No free boost for Cata players?
Three Questions:1. So it is possible to boost a newly created Monk to level 85, unless it is a Pandaren Monk?2. When will the XP buff be active again in prep for MoP?3. I have a level 60 char in SoD that is not geared. Can I just PuG Balnazaar or do I need to grind gear? I.e. how active and (non-)elitist is raiding in SoD EU?(I normally do not have patience to join a group without a group finder).
I am a bit skeptical about this. There are so many bugs and they want to deliver final product in 2 months? Good luck : )
Three weeks is too low when Monk only starts at level 1.
One question, If I killed Balnazzar a couple of weeks ago, does it count for the boost? Or do I need to kill him again?
