Best enchant for healer, every healer should have this. The spirit buff looks like awesome addition to Intellect procs.

While hard to see in a screenshot, the enchant as it is currently has a very light green glow with greyish orbs that float inward towards your weapon. With my mace untransmogged back to Heroic Maw the enchant is almost completely invisible with nothing actually showing but the orbs and this ended up being the case with many other weapons as well. It also has a proc effect of black swirls that surround your character for roughly 3-4 seconds.

IMO a very nice looking enchant, especially after how... uh... overpowering power torrent was.

Current build on beta (15961) this is very undervalued for healers from a regen perspective.

From looking at logs, and spreadhseeting, the results seem to agree with the databases and suggest a 10% proc chance. Looks like there is a "standard" 45 sec ICD.

That means, with a 45 sec ICD, and perfect timing (ignoring the 10% proc chance, assuming it procs as soon as its off ICD)... you have a ~26% uptime. Presumably, you 'should' be under 25% mana for 25% of the fight, so that means a ~6.5% uptime of the Spirit Buff.

Results (equalized)
Int Buff: 429 Int
Spirit Buff: 49 Spirit

Remember, these equalized results are assuming the buff procs IMMEDIATELY after it comes off ICD, which with a 10% proc chance, is never guaranteed, even if you have HoTs rolling and AOE heals going out.

From a regen standpoint.... you actually fare better using Heartsong. Yes, the Int buff is a healer throughput stat, and increases our output... but depending on your breakpoints (haste), value of mastery, and if you get regen from Crit, Windsong can work out superior... As of current beta builds, it seems like we have no real 'healer regen enchant'.

River's Song: 4 RPPM on melee attacks that land, or are dodged, or parried.
Dancing Steel: 2.3 RPPM on melee attacks that land.
Colossus: 6 RPPM on melee attacks that land, or are dodged, or parried, with a 3-second cooldown.
Elemental Force: 10 RPPM on damage or spell damage/healing
Jade Spirit: 2 RPPM on spell damage or healing, 50-second cooldown.
Windsong: 2 RPPM on damage, or spell damage/healing.

Edit: As of 10/15/12, Windsong and Elemental Force now proc on all damage and healing, including melee, ranged, direct and DoT.

They now trigger on the new "Real Procs Per Minute" (RPPM) system, which is weapon speed and instant attack independent and fully detailed in this blue post.

Edit 2: As of patch 5.1 Dancing Steel, Jade Spirit, River's Song, and Colossus are on the RPPM system also.

Edit 3: As of patch 5.2, Dancing Steel now has a 15% greater chance to activate.

I really am not liking this enchant as a healer. Such a long internal cool down and the spirit bonus only granted if your under 25% mana when it happens to proc? Unreliable.

I am considering that heartsong may actually be better, its up all the time and is a constant 200 spirit.

They should rework this jade spirit enchant, its disappointing.

From healing last night (5.1):

Stone Guardians: 64% up-time, avg 10s without the buff between procs, std dev 7s, max 24s.
Feng: 61% up-time, avg 14s without the buff between procs, std dev 14s. max 48s.

Compared with Windsong, which was averaging about 26% up-time on each buff, that's roughly 1000 int vs roughly 400 haste, crit, and mastery.

Can indeed all proc at once. As a shadow priest in ilvl 479 gear, I have reached over 34k spellpower. This is awesome in a raid setting, but can be a bit of a bother in a heroic with a not so geared tank ;-)

Can anyone else confirm that as of 5.1 the ICD doesn't seem to exist any more?

I was setting up a weak aura ICD countdown for it, and spam casting spells and from time to time it would just reapply after a couple of seconds.

I'm absolutely baffled how no one, not even Icy-Veins, has mentioned this.

Mistweaver Monks should use this enchant for regeneration to the exclusion of everything else. The unique model of monk mana-return ability allows you to charge up 20 stacks of mana tea, allowing yourself to nearly oom, and cause Jade Spirit's spirit buff to kick in.

From that point on you keep your own mana slightly above or below 25% (87.75k with Ascension and meta gem?).

This is hands-down the best enchant there is for a healer monk.
