Hmmm, I'm not sure but I think that this apple story is same with the one in Pirates of the Carribean : The Curse of the Black Pearl, where Barbossa couldn't eat the green apple because he was undead, and since the Flame Druids are made of flame, I think that they can't eat it too....Such an irony...
