Use any pet with Aquatic abilities to make quick work of the Elemental Pet (Any frog, toad or turtle, even 小水花) Laser hit's pretty hard and 黑焰 reduces healing, so you might forgo a HP focused healer for a damage focused Aquatic with 净化之雨 for harder hits. 逼真的蟾蜍 is a good choice for this fight too because Laser does reduced damage against Mechanical. Try not to kill it while 黑暗重生 is up (because then it basically gets a couple rounds for free until it dies)... either switch pets or use a healing ability when it's up if you're close to killing it.

Any Dragonkin will eat his Magic pet alive. I prefer a pet with 炙灼之土, so I can use 燃烧 to burst down another one of his pets. (邪焰 is amazing for this fight because it has 火息术 AND 炙灼之土, so he will make quick work of the magic pet and still have a double hit 燃烧 for the next pet. (Although he does have 蠕动的软泥怪 (Aquatic) that is strong against Elemental, it still does piddly damage.)

Any mechanical will do well against his Beast (I used (兰德鲁的小拆 or 小拆) for 发脾气 and it was nearly dead before it hit the front line.) (Also, interesting to pair 发脾气 with 召唤闪电 for some serious back line damage against Beasts, so 野生金色雏龙 isn't a bad choice for this fight either because it's 吐息 is strong against Magic.)

I beat him on my second attempt (I've noticed with a lot of these tamers it all boils down to luck as much as it does what kind of pet you have, so if I don't beat them the first time with a team, I'll usually try a second time just to see) with a rare quality level 25 Anodize Robo-Cub (The Beast), Level 25 Celestial Dragon (The Magical), and Uncommon Quality level 25 Emerald Turtle (The Elemental).

Be careful with the Elemental Pet because as other users have pointed out, you're basically giving it free moves if you kill it while it has the dark flame ability up.

It is possible to 2-pet this trainer, leaving your third spot available for a pet to level. Your pet will have to withstand 1 attack from Helios so it will probably need atleast 300-400 hp.

I have had success using the Emerald Whelping and a Darkmoon Zeppelin.

First chain forfeit until he starts with the magic pet Amythel against your Whelpling. Cast Tranquility on the first turn and then Emerald Presence on the second. Attack with Breath on the third and then just keep ED and Tranq up while attacking.You should end this fight with almost full health.

The Emerald Whelpling should also be able to take care of Twilight using the same abilities. As mentioned in the other post be sure not to kill this dark phoenix on the turn that it has Dark Rebirth on it. This ability only lasts one turn so take that chance to cast Tranquility or refresh your ED.

Do what you can with the Whelpling against Helios and when it dies choose the Zeppelin. Cast Decoy when available and use MIssile to attack. If possible time bombing run so that when the bomb drops it will be the killing blow. When there is 1 round on the bomb timer switch to the low pet (which will have to take 1 hit) so it gets the XP from the kill.

This pet tamer initially would not offer me the opportunity to fight. It turns out that I had one of the horde intro quests (Zunta) while being on the Cataclysm quest alliance side. Switching over to an alt and completing the intro quest for Zunta (and not picking up the follow up) allowed me to engage Goz in pet-battle.

Be careful when using just any mechanical against the spider. My highest mechanical was my 锯齿迅猛龙, and as his main attack, I was using Batter, which smacks the enemy 1-2 times, with an additional smack if higher speed. The tamer's spider countered with Brittle Webbing, which applies additional damage *per attack*. Each swipe of Batter was considered a separate attack, so the Brittle Webbing damage would be applied 2-3 times per use of Batter. That extra damage plus the spider's healing from Leech Life was too much for him, even with the favorable mechanical versus beast matchup.

This is the only trainer of the three that poses any real threat, and it's mostly linked to Helios who webs you than deals double dmg and double healing on all of his abilities and has an ungodly chance to dodge your attacks it seems like.

I use Lil'XT and a beatstick damager (usually Emerald Proto-Whelp) on the other two trainers and the same kind of setup works here except I put Lil'XT in slot 2 and use an Aquatic damager in Slot 1, I use a strider with Water Jet/Healing Wave/Pump.

Goz always starts with Twilight with me at least. Pump-Water Jet-Pump will kill him if you are high enough level. The main thing is to kill him with a burst-attack because if you get his health low he'll use Dark Rebirth giving him several free turns. Then I switch out the Strider for XT on the magic fiend. Use the Tantrum/Repair cycle on him as he does moderately low damage and misses 90% of the time due to his own buff anyway. Even if you don't kill him the point is you've killed or almost killed Helios in the backline. Then it's as simple is Zap Zapping to victory. If XT dies on Helios, bring the Strider back in to Pump-Pump him.

Just beat this guy and I used just 2 pets :) These were: Softshell Snapling (rare) with abilities - Grasp, Healing Wave and Powerball. Second pet was Wild Crimson Harchling (rare) with abilities - Breath, Scorched Earth, Lift-Off. I easily dealt with 2 first pets (Twilight and Amythel) using just my lovely turtle. He died fighting Helios, but then WIld Crimson did his job very well :) Hope it will help you somehow. Oh by the way I had my Fluxfire Feline as third pet.

My team:

Level 25 Eternal Strider (rare P/S) - Water Jet, Healing Wave, Pump.
Level 25 Celestial Dragon - Breath, Ancient Blessing, Starfall
Level 25 Lil' XT - Zap, Repair, Tympanic Tantrum

Twilight came out first and I used my Eternal Strider against him. I did a Pump, then a Water Jet, and finished with a final Pump. That combo killed Twilight outright, but my Eternal Strider was badly hurt.

Next came Amythel I left him in and he managed to chip off a few HP before dying - his attacks were weak against Amythel anyway. My Celestial Dragon was next. I opened with Starfall followed by a Breath. I healed next and used Breath to finish Amythel off.

I left the Celestial Dragon in against the final pet, Helios. He didn't survive long, so in came Lil' XT. I opened with Tympanic Tantrum, which did a large amount of damage to Helios. I gambled that a couple Zaps would finish him off, rather than spend the rounds in Repair. The gamble paid off and two Zaps later Lil' XT was victorious.

To two-pet this guy I used Lil' XT and Wanderer's Festival Hatchling.

Started with the Hatchling and used Grasp, Perk Up, and Pump. My turtle had absolutely no problem with this guy. Only thing to watch for is the buff the Phoenix will put on himself that will allow him to rez. Just use Perk Up, Pump, or Pass on your turn if he does this (only last one round.)

Your Hatchling (or whatever aquatic pet you choose) should only be down to 60-70% health at the most for the next round. Even though these abilities are weak against the Humanoid pet, they still will take him out. My Hatchling lasted the whole fight and got a few shots in on the spider. Anyways, I didn't use Grasp this time... just Pump and Perk Up.

When the Hatchling died, I switched in the pet I was leveling and used one ability.

XT had no problems with the spider. I had Repair and Tantrum on the bar but I didn't use it. Zap does a lot of damage and I took out the spider without dying.

You actually only need one pet for this fight.

Emperor Crab ( Snap , Renewing Mist, Shell Shield )

Start with Shell Shield ,
Follow up with Renewing Mist ,
Snap 3 times.
At this time there is one round left on Shell Shield and you can just repeat this sequence.

During Boz's second pet you can just use shell shield and renewing mist to heal your pet if it's a bit low on health.
Just pass when you could Snap until your pet is high on health again.

If you want to level a pet i would suggest bringing it in when the spider is up, just after you
casted Renewing Mist.

I battled him easily using:

Rare lvl 25 Celestial Dragon (Breath, Ancient Blessing Starfall)

I had terrible trouble with this guy. I would barely survive Twilight, only to have him come back at 100% health. My first pet would then die to Twilight and my second one would be at half health when facing the second pet. All it would take is one of my attacks to miss and my team was down. It's like fighting four pets. I finally defeated his team after four tries (I was using Aquatic, Dragon, and Mechanical), but two out of four times Twilight came back to full health after being killed. I was just wondering if anyone else had this experience.

I did this with 2 pets and killed the spider before I had a chance to get my leveling pet in, So the Bot hit 25.

Keep shield up, I used healing wave because Twilight has a -50% healing attack. The spider has great healing and the crab will most likely not survive. Sticky Grenade and missile till the spider is dead.

As of 5.4 this still worked great.

Helios's heal is too powerful for damage mitigation pets, and you will likely die or end up in a neverending stalemate if you try. Instead it is best to burn him down as quickly as possible. If you don't have a strong mechanical pet, a high damage pet like Core Hound Pup or Chrominius works wonders.

Emerald Turtle
Similar Pets: Most aquatic pets with Healing Wave and an Aquatic attack that is strong against Elementals. You will be able to tell by hovering your cursor over the spell in the Pet Spellbook. In the upper left corner, there will be an icon that shows what element it is (A blue swirl for aquatic) and at the bottom there should a flame icon next to an upward green arrow that will show it is strong against Elementals.

Similar Pets: Any pet with Howl

Strategy

Twilight

Twilight will always go first, so I made sure to have my Whelping in the first slot.

Use Lift-Off first, followed by Healing Flame in order to maximize the healing received. Use these two abilities on cooldown (using Lift-Off will allow you to avoid damage while the CD on Healing Flame ticks down), with Healing Flame having a higher priority. Use Breath in between cooldowns for extra damage against Magic.

The key to this fight is ensuring that Twilight is not killed when Dark Rebirth is up. If you do, Twilight will come back with full health, and only lose 20% health per round.

Amythel

Now is the time to pull out your Emerald Turtle or other Aquatic pet. This fight is fairly straight forward. Use Healing Wave on cooldown (unless you're at full or almost full health) and burn him down with your Aquatic ability. I used Headbutt on cooldown in the hopes of a stun, but it never happened so it's probably best to simply burn him. It should also be noted that if Amythel is incapacitated, such as with a frog's transform, Goz will swap him out.

Note: If you are using Emerald Turtle, you will need to switch out Emerald Bite for Grasp. You can do this by clicking on the Emerald Bite in the Pet Battle Slot (NOT the viewer at the top) and clicking Grasp's icon from the dropdown menu.

Helios

As mentioned before, Helios's heals are too powerful for a slow burn with damage mitigation or heals on your own pets. It's best to use Howl for twice the damage and burn as quickly as possible. It is unlikely that you will need to use Howl more than once, but if you happen to get an unlucky streak, be sure to use it on cooldown.

So, normally I get these things done quick but lately it has been taking me a long time. The thing is I am trying hard to level my pets through these things, the daily quests..

So today what I did was use my
Magical crawdad-surge, renewing mist, wish
sporeling spout-leveling pet
gilnean raven-alpha strike, call darkness, nocturnal strike

start off the crawdad with wish, then surge then mist, i mostly just did surge since it hit the phoenix a lot..

the next enemy pet came out, a magic fiendling, my crawdad was still alive and this fight took a LONG time because surge was the only dps i had and i had to heal.

3rd when the spider came out i took out my raven, started off with call darkness then alpha strike 2x then nocturnal..before the spider bit the bucket i took out my sporeling leveling pet and put mushrooms on the spider..and just went back to my raven and finished him off.

Dancing Water Skimmer (Aquatic)
Spirit of Competition (Dragonkin)
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (Mechanical)
His first pet, Twilight, died, and then resd with full life but I still beat the battle on the first try.

I took a whack at using Goz for pet levelling, and found that, using some of the advice above, a Fel Flame (Flame Breath, Scorched Earth, Conflagrate) and Clockwork Gnome (Metal Fist, Blitz, Build Turret) did a sufficient job of taking out the enemy pets enough that a Level 20 Elemental could defend itself.

It wasn't easy, but it can be done.

Got kinda lucky and finished him off without any of my pets dying.

The team:
25 rare Eternal Strider (Water Jet/Healing Wave/Pump)
25 Lil XT (Zap/Repair/Boombot)
21 Celestial Dragon (leveller)

Took out Twilight with the Strider, swapped in the Celestial for part of Amythel since I didn't have a proper dragon out. He used Moonfire once and lobbed a couple of Flamethrowers to get the dot on and some damage out. Swapped the XT in to finish him off, Repaired as the Boombot was about to finish off Amythel. Repair went off as he swapped Helios in, the rest was just outlasting the spider.

To 2 pet this fight, I used:

1. Spirebound crab: must equip with Snap and Shell Shield. This pet can take down Twilight and Amythel.

2. Level pet: bring your leveling pet in for 1 round when helios is up.

3. Menagerie Custodian: bring this pet in after 1 round with your leveling pet, he can finish off the spider easily.

My team (in order of appearence against enemy team):

Mirror Strider (aqua, 25, rare, breed H/B), abilities: Water Jet, Cleansing Rain, Pump
Onyxian Whelpling (dragonkin, 25, rare, P/B): Breath, Scorched Earth, Deep Breath
Cogblade Raptor (mechanical, 22, rare, S/S): Batter, Overtune, Repair.

Then press the buttons in this sequence to win:

Mirror Strider: 3, 3, 2, pass, 1: enemy pet #1 dead
Onyxian Whelpling: 3, 2, 1 (close call, the enemy pet missed once): enemy pet and welpling died simultaneously
Cogblade Raptor: 2, 1 (Cogblade Raptor died - he's only 22)
Mirror Strider: 1, 1: enemy pet #3 dies.

Remarks:

The sequence for the Mirror Strider is essential because of Dark Rebirth of enemy pet.
There are other aqua pets with the same abilities: Dancing Water Skimmer, Eternal Strider
My Cogblade Raptor was faster than the enemy, maybe a better sequence here will be 1, 1 (I couldn't try a second time).

Close call, but I won.

My unbelievable team:

25 Rare Gilnean Raven
23 Rare Eternal Strider
25 Rare Darkmoon Tonk

The Eternal Strider was the only pet alive at the end of the battle. Total of 25 rounds.

Opened with the Gilnean Raven and Nevermore which stopped the Laser beam. Immediately brought out the Eternal Strider and killled Twilight while he had Dark Rebirth active. Healed and killed him again. Enter Amythel and Darkmoon tonk. Shock and awe stunned Amythel. Enter Helios and Gilnean Raven. Called Darkness and pecked Helios to death. Raven died due to brittle webbing. Enter Darkmoon Tonk and Amythel. Shock and awe twice followed by ion cannon. Darkmoon Tonk died. Amythel still alive. Healing wave followed by Pump Up for the win.

In an attempt to two pet, I changed out the Gilnean Raven for a Scourged Whelpling.This setup seems to be better, but I am still working on the mechanics.

I used:

1. Rare level 25 H/S Mojo (frog): Water Jet, Cleansing Rain.
2. Rare level 24 P/P Emerald Proto-whelp: Breath, Emerald Presence, Emerald Dream.
3. Rare level 25 H/B Tranquil Mechanical Yeti: Call Lightning, Ion Cannon.

Mojo easily killed the 1st pet ("Twilight" the elemental), which then rezzed to full health. Mojo killed him again, ending the fight with only 124 hit points.
Emerald Proto-whelp killed the 2nd pet ("Amythel" the magic pet), and ended the fight with 949 health.
Tranquil Mechanical Yeti 2-shotted the 3rd pet ("Helios" the beast), using only Call Lightning and Ion Cannon, and ended with 838 health.

- From here on, cast Emerald Presence when there is 1-turn left on your buff, Emerald Dream when you have less than half of your HP, Breath as a filler

2 pets with Elekk Plushie (Cute as a button, anything, Itchin for a Stitchin) for the achieve:

1. Jademist Dancer (Steam Vent, Rain Dance, Acid Rain)
2. Lil'Bling (Inflation, Extra Plating, Make It Rain)

Start with Jademist: Rain Dance, Acid Rain, Steam Vent. If it looks like Twilight is going to die next round, dont kill it (or it will be reborn). Instead, swap to your Elekk Plushie, make a cute face (Cute as a Button) if the rebirth buff is still there, then swap back using Itchin for a Stitchin.

Jademist can do Rain Dance to heal, then Acid Rain to kill Twilight. When Amythel comes, maybe can do Steam Vent for 1 hit and die.

Swap to Lil'Bling. Set up Extra Plating, then Make It Rain and Inflation. Then it is luck whether Bling dies first or Helios. If still alive, can do Make It Rain again. I killed Helios on this turn.

As with most early pet battles, Iron Starlet can wipe all 3 pets easily.

Had to use a team of pets I had already leveled to 25:

发条侏儒 1X1

After starting the fight over several times this is what I did:

Ooze Touch until Twilight casts Rebirth then just hit pass until it expires. Disgusting Oozeling dies.
With Emerald Whelpling cast Breath once to finish Twilight then Breath until Amythel is dead. Emerald lives to cast Moonfire against Helios
With Clockwork Gnome use Build Turret and then Metal Fist until you win the fight. Clockwork gets healing with the win.

I use the following pets and strategy to defeat this tamer while leveling a low-level pet.

Pets:
1. Water Waveling (B/B)
- Water Jet
- Frost Shock
- Geyser

2. Darkmoon Zeppelin (H/B)
- Missile
- Explode
- Decoy

3. Leveler

Strategy:
1. Use Water Jet. If it misses, forfeit.
2. Use Water Jet. If it misses, forfeit.
3. Use Frost Shock.
4. Use Geyser.
5. Use Water Jet. If it misses, forfeit.

6. Use Water Jet.
7. Swap to Darkmoon Zeppelin.
8. Use Decoy.
9. Use Missile until Helios dies.

10. Use Missile until Amythel has under 581 health.
11. Use Explode.

This is a working and reliable strategy (less RNGey than the others posted here) while also accounting for a leveler pet.

Pets:
