Small Plots OverviewUnlocking Blueprints

Level 1 Profession blueprints for your professions can be acquired via a short questline. The starting quest item drops via Draenor mobs, 카르노스 during 깨어난 어둠 for the Alliance, or 학살자 도로그 during 칼날첨탑 요새의 도살자 for the Horde.

By upgrading your Garrison to level 2, you unlock the remaining level 1 blueprints except for the 재활용 처리장 (1 레벨).

Level 2 Blueprints for Small buildings require you to reach level 96 or complete the 탈라도르 Outpost quests.

Level 3 small blueprints are unlocked with 작업반장 and hitting 100. As this achievement is account-wide, starting Garrisons with Work Orders on alts can speed the process up.

Blueprint Costs and Requirements

Level 1 Small blueprints are free as you upgrade to Garrison Tier 2.

Level 2 Small Blueprints cost from 레즐락 or 스파즈 볼트트위스트. They are free if you have 주둔지 건물 조립 안내, which you get on completing your Outpost quest chains.

Ok.. the MAIN thing I'm confused on with this whole garrison small building stuff is...

If Im a druid, skinner/LW, WHAT buildings do I pick and why?
eg; is it worthwhile for me to pick the LW building? Why?

or would I be better served taking the enchanter/alchemy buildings, so that I can disenchant spare greens, and make my own flasks/pots?

Halp.

Derren의 댓글

Personally, I would just like to know if you have like Jewelcrafting/Engineering: Do I have to pick these 2small buildings to level it up or I can pick whatever I want.

TLDR: Is buildings are like "required" with for some professions...?

Soulskulptor의 댓글

So will there be a significant difference between what the profession buildings do for those with the profession? I know the Forge will let non-blacksmithing characters make Blacksmithing items but will there be some things that they can't make that characters with Blacksmithing can?

Tigershark62의 댓글

Ok, so how is this not going to crash world economy?
I mean why would I buy gems, enchts, flasks, etc. when I can just build the shop and buy it from the vendor in my garrison instead of paying a player X amount of gold on the AH. Whats to stop that from happening?

They other guys have brought up a good point, is it required to have the shop of your profession in garrison to lvl your profession or can you still do it the old school way of getting it from the trainers/experience of doing it yourself?

babbles2102의 댓글

I realise others have asked but I figure the more who ask the better chance the question will get answered...

Do you Need to have your profession building? (eg. My priest is a Tailor/Enchanter - Does she NEED to choose the Tailoring Emporium & Enchanter's Study)
If Not, why would you choose your profession over having access to something different? (Why would my priest choose the Enchanter's Study when she could have Alchemy Lab)
If you have a different professional building, does it give access to all recipes or just some? (If my priest has an Alchemy lab, does she have access to all Flask/Potions/Transmute recipes?)

The quest Shadows Awaken, seems to reward one profession building plan, do you choose the plan?
If you don't choose how is it determined? I assume it is based on your own professions, but what if you don't have professions or (like my priest) have two crafting professions?

Hopefully some clarification comes soon. Great guide, Thanks!

conisialf의 댓글

I Had the same question as some others. To decide if I need to use up a small plot building for my primary profession or not I needed extra info. This info you can find beneath so you can judge for yourself.

Edit 1 : adjusted facts for build 18912

Recipes

You can get them As well from the Garrison building as from a vendor in Ashrand. To get them from the vendor you first need to use the scroll that increases your profession skill to 700.

Items made by NPC's

For tailoring, Jewel crafting, I could learn the recipe for everything the npc could make. For Alchemy I could not find the recipe for the primary stat boost potions.

Special Profession reagent (ex. Alchemy : 연금술 촉매)

From the Garrison Building:

~~No followers assigned : 4 reagent / work order~~
~~Low Level follower assigned (lvl 90 - 94) : 8 reagent / work order~~
~~High Level follower assigned (lvl 97) : 9 reagent / work order~~
~~Max Level follower assigned (lvl 100) : 10 reagent / work order~~

~~So max 10 x (5 Profession Building Lvl 3 + 2 Storehouse Building lvl 3) Work orders = 70 reagents / day.~~

As of build 18912 blizzard changed the garrison yield system.
Now the garrison building has more work orders :

level 1 : 7 (+2 from storehouse lvl 1)
level 2 : 14 (+5 from storehouse lvl 2)
level 3 : 20 (+6 from storehouse lvl 3)

But each work order takes 4 hours and your building processes 1 work order at the time.
So even if you can put in 20 work orders (lvl 3 building) they only procces 6 (24 h / 4h à WO) a day.

A Work order cost also less but yield less results. Cost went down from 20 raw materials to 5. Yield went down from 10 to 2 with follower and from 4 to 1 without follower.

So the max level reagents a day from your garrison building is now : 2 x 6 = 12 / day (down from 70)

From your primary profession:

Profession level 600 - : 5 , 1 work order /day
Profession level 627 - : 6 , 1 work order /day
Profession level 651 - : 7 , 1 work order /day
Profession level 700 : 10 , 3 work orders, each order has a CD of 24 hours

So max 10 x 3 = 30 reagents / day

This stay the same in build 18912 but for some proffesions the cooldown of the secret and the reagent trigger each other. So its the secret a day or the reagents a day before skill lvl 700.

Here are the needed reagents for each Small building work order:

Placing an Engineering work order in Engineering Works requires 2x 검은바위 광석 and 2x 순철 광석.

Placing a Jewelcrafting work order in Gem Boutique requires 5x 검은바위 광석.
Placing a Leatherworking work order in The Tannery requires 5x 야수 생가죽.

with garrisons. Can we remove a building. If i build a tailoring building to get the best pattern can i later remove the building to build something else once I have all the recipes or if mid expansion I change professions and want to get it's higher recipes.

solitha의 댓글

I have a question I haven't yet figured out. I know your first small building generally comes with the Gift of the Draenei. What happens if a character's primary professions are both gathering, such as herbalism/mining? Do they get a random small building blueprint from the quest, or do they have to get one from somewhere else?

Since filling this plot is necessary to level the garrison, I'm very curious what will happen.

Monnezza의 댓글

Quick and dirty:
Garrison profession buildings are supposed to give you a way to either:
- gain access to professions you don't have
- hasten the production of rare materials for professions you already have
This decision will have to be made for every character since the rare materials are BOP and you cannot for example speed up your main's blacksmithing by producing ingots with all of your alts.

If you already have every profession available from alts, you will probably be ok if you go with chosing for each of them the buildings matching their professions.

If you have free spots for small buildings (meaning you don't want/need salvage yard and storehouse as an alternative) consider the additional perks provided by tents (tannery) and gadgets (engeneering works) or check the auction house to see what are the most profitable items you might be able to produce.

dyaeblca의 댓글

What exactly can you get from Salvage?

Rogark의 댓글

Why does only the Horde get the unique vanity items (이글거리는 다이아몬드 펜던트, 고급 카드: 변화, 두꺼운 서리늑대 쓰개)? Is this just simple favoritism or does the Alliance get something else elsewhere?

Also, any idea if more enchants will be added to the illusions? Currently there's no Deathfrost, Avalanche, Soulfrost or Sunfire for example. Probably missing some others as well.

GreySage의 댓글

So... LWers get screwed again? The Tannery seems to offer basically no benefit beyond learning the recipes, once you have them you can scrap it and build something better. Yay for devs punishing rogues more, as if they needed it after the 6.0 nerfs.

Adabiel의 댓글

I would have personally put the storehouse as part of the garrison's main building to be able to use that -1 plot for either the enchanting that my characters don't have or the salvage for my followers. The main work orders give BoP materials which can't be traded at all unless the next expansion turns them.

Alright so after doing a lot of garrison research I sort of understand the role of small buildings in professions whether you have the profession or not, but what buildings are useful if you have a toon with two gathering profs? I understand there are also the mine and herb garden, but those aren't prof specific anyway.

Just not totally sure of the benefits of having a small building for alch or eng for example if that particular toon has mining and herb.

Finally a way to change enchant color still not as good as just being able to use natural weapon glow but you can come close for most weapons now.

Based on feedback and the addition of guides to each specific building, I’ve cleaned up and reformatted this guide a bit. It’s more of an overview to Small Buildings if you’re not sure what to choose and don’t want to be overwhelmed by information. I’ve kept some of the details, but the fullest in-depth summary can be found on the guides to each individual building, which are linked to this guide.

I’ve also made the basics more obvious in the Overview section at the top as well.

Ok I feel like Leatherworker's keep getting the short end of the stick, AGAIN. In MoP we needed 20 pieces of leather of leather to make the daily CD, Magnificent Hide. Engineers and Blacksmith's needed 10 Ghost Iron bars to make their daily CD.

Then came the second tier daily cd, Hardened Magnificent Hide. This required TWO Magnificent Hides to make while Engineer's and Blacksmith's still only required 10 Ghost Iron bars to make their new CD. Their first tier daily CD items were not consumed to make it either. So essentially, Leatherworkers consumed their first tier cd's AND needed two of them to make ONE second tier item. This meant it took two days vs one for other professions and twice the mats as the other professions to craft the second tier item AND we lost the first tier item still required to make useful things like Shadowleather Leg Armor which was still a valuable and required item.

Now comes WoD with Raw Beast Hide. Each profession has it's own "Small profession building" such as Gem Boutique and The Forge and of course, the Tannery.

The Garrison provides a Herb Garden and a Mine as default buildings (meaning everyone gets one without using one of their Medium building plots). These buildings provide enough mats each day to complete work orders for the profession buildings. Leatherworkers and Tailors are somewhat forced to put up a barn in order to get materials to place work orders at the Tannery. If you have Leatherworking but not skinning, you're kinda hooped for materials and forced to buy them from the AH or use one of your 2 medium plots to put up the barn, a choice that Blacksmithing, Engineering, Jewelcrafting, Alchemy and Inscription are not required to make.

Not nice Blizzard. My main's Tannery is just sitting in my garrison taking up space because by the time I discovered this dilemma it was too late. So I guess I spend resources to rebuild, or let it sit there doing nothing until I can level an alt with Skinning.

EDIT: Tailor's get to use Sumptuous Fur (a drop from mobs) so it's only LW's who are hooped.

Improve your work orders in Forge (for use by blacksmiths)

--> Blacksmithing Can reduce your durability damage and increase work order output when assigned to the Forge.
A follower with this trait can be assigned to work in the level 2 or higher Forge.

When working in the building, the building's work order yield is increased (affected by the follower level) and you are allowed the use of two special buffs which are gained by talking to the working follower:

모루의 노래- No weapon or armor durability loss from use for four hours
대장간의 위안 - A chance to summon Guardian of the Forge to help you in combat while Draenor outdoor zones for four hours

(Rulkan = only follower with Blacksmithing)

Before you can take Rulkan's quest to get her as a follower, you must go through the quest chain starting with 황혼 속으로, and eventually get 어둠을 쫓아서 which sends you up to Exile's Rise to meet Rulkan.
She will then give you the quest, 선조의 기억, which just has you hop down the cliff, go into the cave, and click the totem in back. She'll join you in the cave and show you a vision.
At the end, turn in the quest, and when you take the quest 룰칸, you get her as a follower.

(Na'Shra = only follower with Blacksmithing):

In Frostfire Ridge, Initiate Na'Shra (65,0; 39,5) in Gate of the Breakers offers 제련크래프트 for you and after completing it, Weaponsmith Na'Shral joins your garrison.

I hope this will help you! :D

When I completed the quest line for the Talador outpost it gave me a Comprehensive Outpost Construction Guide which allowed me to purchase the blueprints for the level 2 large buildings, not the small buildings. Is there a way to get the blueprints for the small buildings without paying 750 G?

Can anyone help me with a question please? If my character has a profession and builds the relevant profession building what is the benefit of the level 3 building over the level 2 one apart from the extra 7 work orders I can place?

My character has Engineering and the Engineering Works. But it is interesting to know for other professions.

If your character doesn't have the profession but has the level 3 building it looks like you can craft a few extra recipes.

But if you have the profession it seems like a lot of gold and garrison resources to spend to allow you to place a few extra work orders. I can see this being of some benefit to people who don't play often or if you have alts. I was hoping for something extra, maybe increased yields from work orders or reduced time per work order.

What quests exactly do I need to finish in Talador to upgrade my profession building to lvl 2 - does anybody know? Is there a chance not to be 96 by that point? Obviously I'm looking for the quickest way.

There is a mistake in the Engineering Works section. ATM the guide has:

수습 기술병 안드렌 / 명예로운 칼고르 is acquired from 기술병 로뮬

수습 기술병 안드렌 / 명예로운 칼고르 has the Engineering trait, but he's one of three choices from 총독들의 친구. 기술병 로뮬 rewards 기술병 로뮬 / 무기제작자 나쉬라 (surprise!), who doesn't have the Engineering trait. The Alliance icon is correct.

Added: Someone commented three months ago about an identical mistake in the individual Engineering Works guide.

Why doesn't Level 2 Storehouse give you + 10 work order slots?

Leatherworking (tannery) section is missing the "you can NOT craft X without leatherworking" like the others have.
