Just received this mount as WoW subscription reward. Per this Blizz post, it looks like players who have 6-month or yearly recurring subscriptions will receive it for free as a gift they can claim. (Mine showed up as a notification on the Battlenet interface when I relogged.)

Anyone without a long-term sub is able to purchase it from the Blizzard shop for $25 USD.

Note: When the subscription rewards are announced, there is always a bit of fine print that goes along with them. For this particular mount, Blizzard specifically states that players will receive the reward no later than July 31,2025. Additionally, the subscription must be an existing 6 or 12 month recurring plan, with a future renewal date.

If you haven't received your reward yet, first double check that your subscription has a renewal date listed under your account details. If everything looks as it should, then Blizzard has until the end of July to send it to you. I'm not sure what determines what day of the month you receive it, but my guess is that it's tied in to the day of the month you originally subbed.

I too, have yet to receive this mount. I have an active 6 mo. with a future renewal. The last 6 month reward mount took a bit to go thru as well so I am not that surprised. Give it another week.

Edit: July 28th and still no mount! Only 4 days left for the promotion. Starting to put in daily tickets....

Edit: July 30th got thru to an actual real person at blizz and the GM added the mount straight to my account. So I can verify that there are issues and the only way to resolve is to put in a ticket!

I understand that the situation isn't ideal. You invested in the special one-year edition of the World of Warcraft subscription, but you haven't received the latest rewards.

I understand, therefore, that the absence of these rewards may have aroused strong emotions. It turns out that a canceled subscription will not be eligible to receive these rewards, even if the game time is still running.

Not bad Blizz I hope this will make a lot of people like me think about the future of our subscriptions

I have a six-month sub with a renewal date confirmed in the account settings and still haven't gotten the mount... strange, as I usually get the mount by now for these.

ORIGINAL COMMENT: I did the 6 months sub a few days before this mount came out, and I also sent in a ticket to the GM, but the response was a vague NO, no mount for me.

That was different from end of last year, when I did a 12-month sub, but later (maybe a few weeks?) I got the blue owl and the timber snake which was totally out of my expectation.

I remember a 12 or 6 months mount previously took an entire day to appear, if you're on a recurring sub just wait.

Also still w8in for sub mount. There was no problems like this in the past but now i just dont get it and ive this 6month Sub for years now. Tryed a ticked but only get response like "can take til 31.07" guess iam screwed and blizz wont care :/

Update 28.07: Still no sign of that gift. Guess in 3 days ive to throw out tickets 24/7 til they send it.

6 month recurring sub here, still no mount. GM assured me that as long as there's a future renewal date of payment, it will be delivered on or before July 31st. Now we wait.

Finally got mine today -- July 30th. Not sure why it took so long to receive, as I've been on a 6-month subscription for over a year now.

In other news, this mount is really cool! It's actually different and I don't believe it is a reskin. Good job on this one, Blizz!

Still hadn't gotten this mount as of 04/08/2025.

After a little googling i came across a post suggesting i check https://us.gifts.battle.net/?locale=en-us, (changed last part to eu, since that is my area). There i found 2 entries for the mount, which i then could manually claim. After doing so the mount showed up in-game.

I have gotten several 6/12-month sub mounts earlier, and they have all appeared automatically in my collections. This one didn't for some reason. Just thought i'd post this here in case someone else is still waiting for the mount, check if it shows up as an unclaimed gift.

Interesting to find that everyone has been told "No later than July 31", when I only just got this a few days ago. Strange contradiction.
