Edit: The exquisite Love Boat is a four seater, and is even fancier than the original Love Boat.

When standing in deep enough water, this toy summons a slow boat which you can steer.
During the event, the cooldown is reduced from 30 min to 1.5 min. You can't attack or fish while using the boat.
It functions pretty much the same as the Love Boat, but has four seats instead of two (for you and three passengers).
It is also slightly bigger and has slightly better graphics, but lacks the paddling Gondolier NPC of the original.

two tauren or kul-tirans; 8 mechagnomes (for optimal rust prevention only seats 4), 4 of other races, or as many acrobatic stewards as others have toys for.

Take a free ride before you buy the Exquisite Love Boat

Your Alliance character can see and board the Exquisite Love Boat in the Stormwind canals. Several gondolas run on a track. Board anywhere along the side of the canal by clicking on the green boarding arrow. But exit only at the dock. The boat will stop at the dock with the Fishing Trainer and you'll have about 4 seconds to hit the red exit vehicle arrow. If you buy the Exquisite Love Boat and launch in the canals, your boat will run on the track during Love is in the Air. If you launch the original Love Boat in the canals, you can go where you like.

You can also try out the Exquisite Love Boat at Olivia's Pond in Stormwind. Those gondolas are fixed in place. If you're doing The Gift of Relaxation, sitting in an Exquisite Love Boat counts as relaxation. You can fish from these boats -- although you can't fish from the ones you buy.

Your Horde character can try out the Exquisite Love Boat in the outer canals of Undercity. The boats run on a track around the canal and dock at the Apothecarium. Just don't try to launch a purchased Exquisite Love Boat or the original Love Boat in the canals. It will get swamped and fill with green sludge. If your character can’t move, use the free “character stuck” service.

Safely exiting the boat
When you click on the red exit arrow for either model, your character will eject to the left of the boat. This will probably dump you in the water. To exit on to dry land, the left side of the boat should be touching the shoreline if you are facing forward. (The first character to board the boat faces forward.)

If you are the second passenger to board, you’ll be ejected to your right. (Guess the boat's sensor can't tell which side is land and which is water.)

Cooldown

The tooltip for the Exquisite Love Boat shows a cooldown timer when you're in the boat. The cooldown is a little more than a minute during Love Is in the Air (30 minutes any other time).
The tooltip for the original Love Boat doesn't show a cooldown timer, but it's the same.

Seating

Exquisite Love Boat is a 4-seater. There's no gondolier, but there are large bouquets behind the seats and extra decoration on the sides. The front and back of the boat look the same.
The Exquisite Love Boat is too high for the low Stormwind canal bridges, but the prow passes right through the stone.

Original Love Boat is a 2-seater that comes with a gondolier.

Steering
You steer both models (except in the canals). You can put your boat on autorun to reduce steering effort.

Trivia: for the most relaxing boat rides, take a water taxi around Boralis Harbor in the Battle for Azeroth expansion. Includes a rower and the sound of oars in the water.

You can't fish from it, other than looking interesting its good as useless if you were wondering.

Unlike Love Boat, this one looks like it's floating on the water instead of being submerged. I'm pretty sure it's a bug and will get fixed eventually, but it still looks silly and ruins the immersion if you're into RP.
