Also, get a good helmet. That bobber's going to come toward your head at a fairly high speed once you reel it in...

Fantastic item.. No more wrist pain from trying to hold the cursor within the tiny default range.
It could be an issue later when we have 20 players fishing for the new coins in the Dalaran fountain. All we'll see is a huge mass of giant bobbers :)

Ridiculously oversized. I find this amusing but it may put the small bobbers at disadvantage if fished near other fishermen who don't use this item.

PS. It would be cool if we could customize our fishing bobbers. I'd have a yellow rubber duck! :)

At long last, I can listen to music while I fish, no longer do I need to listen out for a splash because I cannot see the bobber. Also, this shouldn't be an issue to other fishers who are using small ones, because you can only click on yours, just move your mouse around till the cursor changes into the fishing icon. No problems!

For your convenience, this item is so large that it is fully capable of doubling as an emergency flotation device in the event your ship crashes into water. Draenei rejoice.

I wish you wouldn't see other player's oversized bobbers.
So the effect would only be visible to the caster.
Fishing near any daily fisherman to get rep, AP, or items, is such a pain.
4 people in the raid with this bobber buff, and others are very frustrated because the view to their bobber is constantly blocked.

Love this item! I have dual monitors, so i'm often reading or doing things in the other monitor if I'm fishing. When you click in the other screen it loses the sound of WoW as it considers it out of the game at that point. This item helps me see the bobber moving out the corner of my eye, so no fishies lost while I'm grinding.

It used to be that this would increase the size of the custom bobbers, so you could fish with a giant rubber duck for example. Unfortunately, that was too much fun, so they changed it so it only displays the standard bobber model.

In my experience, this does seem to help with using the Interact Button to reel in the fish.

This next patch, we're receiving a permanent, toy version of this can can be re-applied.

To get it, you need to collect a certain amount of fish using this large bobber.

The hook underneath is so huge, I can't help but feel bad about the fish that bite.

The duration has been increased to 60 minutes instead of 30 in the latest patch 10.0.5. Wowhead has already been updated, but I thought I'd point it out here. :)

I feel like this should be on the client's side only. You can easily block other people with this bobber.

If you catch 100 fish with the Oversized Bobber you get the achievement Discombobberlated which awards Reusable Oversized Bobber.

It's a permanent toy version that makes your bobber bigger for 60min and has 15min cooldown
