Anyone know if it works on quest turn-ins? That'd be a great use - pick up and complete a bunch of quests with questgivers that are really close together, then drop it right before you turn them all in ...

With the 15 minute cooldown I'd think you'd be able to use it for at least every-other group of quests, if not every one.

Sadly, I can confirm that this doesn't work for the Honor gain from winning Tol Barad.

We won attacking with 3 towers up and I was standing under my Standard with the buff (double checked that I had it). Honor gains were 1800, 30, 30, and 30. Yes, I double checked that it wasn't just a display, I only got 1890 honor from it.

I can confirm that this does work for normal daily quests and stacked with my Diplomacy racial.

Wait... you are confirming that this effect that increases Honor and Experience stacks with Diplomacy, which increases reputation gains?

This item, as far as the description goes, does not increase reputation gains at all. Now either this item does more than it's description says, or you are just making up stuff. I suspect the latter.

I am 84 and friendly with the guild rep, and I can't see this at the vendor any idea if im missing another requirement (like 85 to access vendor)?

*Sadly you have to be honored to purchase, even though it only requires friendly to use, by which time you'd be 85 and not need it for the exp gain, so only useful for rep gain when questing by yourself.

if guildies in your group place more than one Standard at the same time, you still only get 10% bonus: it doesn't stack.

Can you have 2 different standards up for stacked effect? So banner of cooperation for 5% and STandard of Unity for 10% for a total of 15%? So is it that same standards don't stack or all standards don't stack?

These banners do NOT increase XP for the Guild, Guild Rep, nor Weekly Activity. Likewise they don't increase rep for quests or turn-ins (which are just a repeatable kind of quest.) You also do NOT get bonus honor from objectives such as winning Tol Barad.

If you drop any of these banners right before you kill a raid boss or heroic boss in a guild group with this, you will get NO BONUS. Your guild and your guild mates will get nothing too. I've tested it all over and nadda. Hopefully this is a bug since it's pretty much useless as it is now.

It is useless practically speaking but technically it could be used to pull a crap load of stuff to one location and then killed under the banner for bonus rep. For example Argent Dawn rep in Stratholme. Practically speaking it's not worth the bag space. I'm grinding Ravenholdt rep now and don't bother with a banner. It takes more time to position 10 mobs in the banner than it takes to kill an extra mob. Which will be true pretty much everywhere.

Note that the range in wowhead says 0 yards. The tooltip in game says 45 yards. The other tooltip says 100 yards. If it was bugged and actually zero yards (or 1.5 sec duration) in game then it would explain why it seems to be useless. If this is working as intended, I have no idea what Blizzard was thinking having a guild banner that gives nothing to the guild.

EDIT: Note the difference between Guild rep and all other reps. It doesn't use the same mechanics. These banners give bonuses to Rep, but not guild rep.

Let me try to answer all possible questions.

It is not consumed when used. Buy it once, use it forever, or at least until you get a better version. (Like Stendardo da Battaglia della Coordinazione.)
It works on all guildmates, even those who are not in your group.
It only increases gains that occur from kills. So xp, rep, and honor gains from KILLS ONLY are increased. This does, however, extend to bosses. It does not extend to quests, either normal or daily. It does not extend to bonus honor gained from any method other than kills.
Due to the internal nature of the way that Guild rep works, Guild rep does not actually trigger on a 'kill': it triggers on completing a 'criteria'. Even if that 'criteria' is to 'kill' something in a guild group, such as a boss in a heroic run or raid, the mechanics of Guild rep means that the banner will not increase it, even from 'kills.' It's unclear if this is intended or not or if it will be 'fixed' in a future patch. Every other rep possible to be gained from a kill (including those triggered/adjusted by tabards) works with this banner fine.
It does not stack with other guildmates' banners, or other guilds' banners, etc. However, the more of your guildmates that have one, the more likely that one of you will be able to place one when the others have theirs on cooldown.
Does not activate global cooldown as it is an item, so can be used in macros fairly well. (/use itemname)

I can see the most common use of this item being plopping it down right before a boss that gives rep is killed. For instance, those who grind reps can plop this down right before a boss in a heroic run. Depending on how long the run takes they could do it multiple times in one run, or other guildies can use theirs on other bosses. This works with all tabards (except Guild rep tabards), and also works with rep from kills that don't require tabards, for instance Classic and BC raid zones which give rep. I used mine on as many Molten Core bosses as I could when I was farming it. Every little bit shaved off that grind helps.

The second most common use will be in PvP (although for those more PvP oriented, this will probably be their most common use). When defending an objective, especially in a place like Tol Barad or any place a large amount of kills occur in the same spot, plop it down for the extra honor. The banner cannot be targeted or killed by the enemy faction, but if they kill you, your banner gets removed. (The banner disappears if you go an extended distance from it, or die.)

Finally, I expect the least common use will be when leveling or grinding a rep from killing small trash mobs. Unless you're in a group with other guildies who will use their banners too, or you spend extra time and effort to stay with your banner, you will only have periodic coverage. However, since you can macro it into a spell, you can use it on cooldown without really paying attention and pretty much forget you even have it. You'll occasionally get some extra rep or xp, but it won't be a constant benefit. If this is all you plan to use it for, the item's really not worth it, but if you're already carrying it around for one of the first two reasons, you may as well use it for this too.

Oh. And it makes for good screenshots too, especially for 'first kill' screenshots for your guild's raids. ^_^

i am doing my ravenholdt rep atm

each kill grants 5 rep, im a human and my guild as the 10% rep bonus, so thats a 20% increase

5 + .5 + .5 = 6
get a constant 6 rep this way

when i drop my standard of unity, i get 6.5 rep
when near it it my rep gains rotate between 6 and 7

so i can confirm this does not only work on tabard rep, could be certain factions, that im not sure on

I dropped mine when grinding out Steemwheedle rep (to repair rep from getting Bloodsail Admiral). It worked with those tiny rep gains - only a few points, or half a point, but every little bit helps when you're killing thousands of pirates, I suppose.

Started using Stendardo della Cooperazione and Stendardo dell'Unità while farming MC for rep and had a question I haven't seen answered.
Stendardo della Cooperazione, Stendardo dell'Unità and Stendardo da Battaglia della Coordinazione show as shared cooldowns, but does not seem to be so.
I used Stendardo dell'Unità and my Stendardo della Cooperazione CD increased by 2 mins.
However, when I used the lesser Stendardo della Cooperazione while Stendardo dell'Unità was on CD, it did not increase.
Seems only using the greater ones increases the lesser ones CDs, while using the lesser one does not affect the others.

All banners (Stendardo della Cooperazione, Stendardo dell'Unità, Stendardo da Battaglia della Coordinazione) share a common cooldown of 2 minutes. This means that when you drop one banner, a 10 minute cooldown starts on the one you dropped and a 2 minute timer starts on the other two.

Interestingly, if one of the banners is within its 10 minute cooldown window, the 2 minutes will not be added to the timer.

Can you get this from one guild and still use it after leaving/joining another that doesn't have the achievement? I hate to guild change, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. :/

Edit: If you purchase this, then leave the guild, then join a new one without the achievement, and it still works.

I don't know how this is not here after a decade. I always grab all there while leveling new toons (I also tend to throw them away because at this point the small amount of gold isn't worth holding them between expansions

Make a macro using your favorite attack, one used frequently while leveling. Then add /use for each banner (I made mine by clicking the attack and the banners)

/cast
/use Banner of Cooperation
/use Standard of Unity
/use Battle Standard of Coordination

Every time one of the banners is off cool-down, it will drop it. Because all three are on the same casting lockout, it will NOT cast all three at once. So you wind up pulling the first mob and dropping. Since things tend to die fast if you know what you're doing (or if you do a good job matching with an attack), you wind up using the banner all the time, and all you change is a single button.

Here is a nice macro for Horde or Alliance players if you carry all three in your bags and want to easily switch between dropping them. Click, shift+click, ctrl+click will drop one of three rep banners. I stole and modified this from the official WoW forums, so feel free to change item
