I want to guess that flash frozen meat comes from the camp at 57.41. There are frozen animals everywhere there and it looks to be the only gnoll camp thats in the frozen part of the zone. I tried for around twenty min to get any of the meat but none dropped, only the jerky. I wonder if the loot table is bugged as nobody on other sites seems to know how to get it currently either.

I was just farming Gnolls in 58.17, 43.30 and got Flash Frozen Meat.
EDIT 1: they dont seem that rare around 15-30%
After 30 mins of farming i got 20 of them.
You dont need to worry about what Gnoll you need to kill, i got some of different kind of gnolls in that area, perhaps the shaman give more because i had 2 drops from 1 shaman

all these comments, but i must be missing something. i went and got all the meat described. but when i try to give it to either Zon'Wogi or the Tempermental Skywing. i end up eating it. is there more to this than is being said?

It should be noted that this is not a Dragonriding mount. It WILL fly but just not on Dragon Isles.

Took me a long 3 hour session, eating dinner and bio in between. Started researching how to do it around 8:50 PM, finally got the mount at 12 AM.

For the main spots the pieces of meat are, the small grunt gnolls inside and around structures drop it best. These are not dropped 100% by far, so expect to be killing a lot of gnolls. I don't even know how many respawned.

I just camped inside the tree house for the Speciale della Casa di Gnolan (23.07, 43.73), and the camp for Carne Secca dei Tuskarr (34.4, 45.7). Most Snowhide Gnolls at 58, 42 for Carne Congelata Rapidamente seem to drop it. I camped the Snowhide around the campfire, inside the two tree houses, and the small camp nearby.

The Bruto Mantonevoso (Snowhide Brute), Inseguitore Dentescuro, and Grunt Zannatonante (Stormfang Grunt) have the best drop rates in these areas because there's so many and it doesn't appear that they have a reduced drop rate from bigger gnolls. For the Darktooth Stalkers, you usually have to walk around for them to unstealth and attack you.

Don't be a fool like me - read the entirety of people's comments.. When they said "feed the temperamental skyclaw", they don't mean that literally. I attempted to use the fish in front of it thinking it would toss it the supplies but I ended up consuming them and had to go farm a new one haha. Speak to Zon'Wogi (the stable master) next to the skyclaw and ask him about it, then you'll be prompted to give him the produce.

Overall I like this mount. It's essentially just a wyvern but with fox features instead of a lion. The flying animation is a little smoother than the wyvern. Its wings aren't as static when they flap up and down, though I do wish it had a soar animation occasionally which doesn't seem to be the case.
The /mountspecial causes your little skyclaw to turn around with glee on the ground, then jump up and twirl in the air which looks really cool.
If you're a lover of wyverns, then this is a must have and it's easy to obtain as all the ingredients can be bought on the AH. They were fairly affordable, too. The largest costing stack was 4k gold for me.

It works as any regular non-dragonriding flying mount.

If you prefer a blue/grey one instead, you might look to Breezebiter. Pretty low drop chance, but it doesn't seem to have a daily or weekly lockout so you can keep farming it once he respawns.

Even the bigger fool, I somehow got focused on getting the meat for this mount, brought in a 64 level hunter that needed leveling, and went to work.

Dozens of hours later, I finally got all the meat, found the stable master, turned over the meat, got the reins ... and lo and behold, I already HAD the damned mount!

I have no idea how I got it, certainly no recollection of collecting or buying all that meat, didn't get the drop from Breezebiter ... so I'm at a total loss. Can't turn the mount back in, of course; can't trade or sell or even give it away. So now here I am with two of the damned things, and feeling really stupid. I could've sold that meat for a LOT of money too, alas.
