So I did spend 4k Stygia. Ive got 3x the same shoulders. After Ive got the 3rd exactly the same shoulders, I thought myself that Im doing something wrong. The forth Item were bracers. Booth items had the worst stats for me. Good job on spending 7 months creating this pile of crp.

Anyone know if the items are generated with randoms secondary stats or if the stats are predetermined for each slot of gear? Have anyone gotten a piece with socket in it, since the community conception is that is a mistake that they have sockets? Thx in advance and happy gaming

I have opened 10 boxes on my new Rogue. - Loot spec set to Assassin.

I received:
x1 Head
x1 Legs
x2 Gloves (Different secondary stats on both)
x2 Boots (Same secondary stats on both)
x1 Dagger
x1 Chest
x1 Bracer
x1 Shoulder

Hope this info helps! ~ I believe I got really lucky with only 2 doubles!

If you want to know what these can turn into, look at the content of a Maw Assault war chest, e.g. Cassa da Guerra della Caccia Selvaggia#contains

There are items for every slot, including weapons and trinkets. (Although only one trinket for each primary stat.) Except maybe a neck.

So far I've gotten the following with sending 8 to my rogue:

Ring x1
Boots x1
Pants x1
Waist x1
Gloves x1
Head x1
Shoulder x1
Chest x1

I've either got the best luck in the game, or it doesn't duplicate often on purpose! I'm okay with this system! (Rogue went from a 118 ilvl to 176 in 3 minutes with this catch up gear!)

So i have tried getting a weapon for my holy Paladin after a hunter i know got a bow out of it.

This is what 41 tries got me:

7 x chest
7 x hand
5 x shoulder
5 x wrist
3 x legs
3 x feet
3 x waist
2 x head
2 x back
2 x ring
2 x shield

I also heard of a Staff, however either i am unlucky or there is no weapon for my spec.

I opened 15 of these today on my hunter, desperate for a weapon.

I got:
4x Pants
3x Belt
2x Gloves
1x Ring
1x Cloak
1x Shoulders
1x Chest
1x Helm
1x Trinket

I haven't had a weapon drop from any of the assaults, or any of the dozens of armaments opened on this character.
Still sitting here with a 194 from a world-quest, 5 months later.

I haven't been spending Stygia on them for my main since I'm saying that for later purchases so I'm only doing one I get for free from drops but I cannot get a second one handed str weapon to drop for my Frost DK. I've gotten duplicates of everything else but no one handed str weapons. I'm hoping it's just RNG and I'll get one eventually.

These give me agility staves and trinkets on my resto druid, and yes I have resto loot spec selected.

I have opened about 10 boxes from purchasing with stygia, and another 6-10 from looting out in the world. Any time I get a trinket or weapon it's agility.

Something is off, at least for me.

There's absolutely no variety (in my experience). You get the same items over and over.

I stopped keeping track of which items I got after opening about 10 of these.

EDIT
Just got the Arco d'Energia di Korthia after completing Come plasmare il destino.

But due to the lack of variety I still think it's a waste of Stygia to buy this item.

you would at least expect a loot protection in 2021 i mean getting duplicate items 3 times in a row seriously?

It seems to be the case, that when you use one of these and get a gear upgrade you need to equip it before you use the next one to avoid duplicates. Only tested with 5 armaments, but every one of them was a different slot when equipping the gear from the last.

Just opened 25 of these on my alt, my alt had terrible 190 ilvl covenant gear, 180 weapons and miscelaneous, so anything would be an upgrade.

Out of those 25 boxes i got 6 items that are usable, the rest were duplicates of those items.

The 6 usable items were helm, shoulders, wrists, belt, pants, boots.

The duplicates were 3x gloves, 2x shoulders, 3x pants, 2x belt, 1x wrists, 3x belt, 5x back (thats my legendary slot).

Well spent 25k stygia...

Whats bad about these tokens is the fact that you CANNOT craft a 1 Handed weapon for a frost DK. I spent over 30 tokens and not one of them crafted a weapon. It did give me a two handed weapon.

For anyone looking here, in 9.1.5 they are adding tokens for individual gear slots and weapons. If you have an alt you don't play often save your Stygia until then and avoid this terrible lottery.

Use: Create a soulbound Korthian item appropriate for your loot specialization... except you will always get the wrong weapon for your spec.

I'm hoping Blizzard will raise the iLvl on these to match the raise given to other Shadowlands equipment. With the 11.0 pre-patch, iLvl 170 green drops that required level 57 got boosted to 300+! Which renders these tokens utterly valueless.
