Early on in the season, ugprading a weapon is a good idea because this slot has more stats than any other piece.

I'm really confused. In the Shadowlands Systems > 06. Best Legendaries > Best Frost Mage Legendaries > What Legendaries to Craft as a Frost Mage you say this about Freezing Winds:

Verdict: A reasonably versatile Legendary for single-target and AoE, but not strong enough at either to justify being a first craft.

But down in the Max-Level Information > 06. Gear > Recommended Frost Mage Gear > Legendaries you say this about Freezing Winds:

However, Freezing Winds (source: Sire Denathrius, Castle Nathria) is more versatile than either and should be your first craft, as well as your go-to Mythic+ legendary item.

So what is the actual recommendation?

On the BiS list for 9.1 the gloves are shown as having a Shard of Domination socketed. This is incorrect (mouse over the gloves, they have no socket), the shard is supposed to go in the chest item.

The Lightbinder Treads you have listed for Mythic+ BiS boots are not on the loot table for this iteration of Shadowmoon Burial Grounds. The correct Mythic+ BiS boots for frost mage should be Flameheart Sandals from Temple of the Jade Serpent.

Also, the Felflame Bracers you have listed for Mythic+ BiS wrists are not on the loot table for this iteration of Shadowmoon Burial Grounds. The correct M+ BiS wrists for Frost Mage should be Bonespeaker Bracers from Halls of Valor

Also also, the Cloak of Arcane Mysteries you have listed for M+ BiS Cloak is not on the loot table for this iteration of Shadowmoon Burial Grounds. This was changed to Robes of Arcane Mysteries with different stats. The correct M+ BiS cloak for Frost Mage should be Cape of the Duskwatch from Court of Stars

I would just like to note that the Torch of Primal Awakening crafted wand has the same stats as the other crafted 1H weapons, if people want to feel more caster-y with a wand.

"Early on, you cannot put the best embellishments on rings". Why?

FWIW I have Tasca di Sapori Alchemici on my Anello con Sigillo della Consapevolezza Titanica since DF season 1 , so not "best embellishment" though I dearly love the persistent food buff. Is there some restriction that prevents the other embellishments from going on rings, or is it just because of expecting you'll have 2 embellishments on other pieces at first?

The Azureweave 2-set pieces count as 2 embelishments, so you can't have a set and another embelishment.

Not sure why crafted trinket like Idolo del Custode della Terra is not presented. It sims really well and relatively easy to get.

I really like how some trinkets that sim incredibly well, and do incredibly well in practice, like the iceblood deathsnare, are just not listed anywhere on this page. You would think if you're going to write a gearing/bis guide and tier list for season 4 you would include ALL of the trinkets.

The stats section mentions that haste and crit are the strongest stats, so why should we use the haste + mastery missives in crafting our gear as opposed to haste + crit?
