Honeyback Harvester's HarnessAlliance onlyGetting Started

You need an Alliance Character - The rewards from the Honeyback Hive are only obtainable by Alliance. The Honeyback Harvester's Harness cannot be used or obtained by Horde. The only notable rewards available to the Horde are the Butterfly pets, which can be bought on the Auction House.

You need Bumbles or Seabreeze Bumblebee - One of these pets is required to unlock the Honeyback Hive faction. The Seabreeze Bumblebee can be purchased on the Auction House, and Bumbles can be obtained from the Let's Bee Friends achievement.

Flying is strongly recommended - The reputation grind itself is made a lot easier with flying. The jellies are spread throughout the entirety of Stormsong, and while it is doable without flying, it's strongly recommended that you have flying before attempting to reach Exalted.

Obtaining Bumbles

Complete the questline starting with Mayhem at Mildenhall Meadery, and ending with Back to the Lab.
Farm Bumbling Bee, Enraged Swarmer, Flowing Honey, Bubbling Mead until Annealed Honey Amulet drops. This may take a while.
Once you have the Annealed Honey Amulet, find Rosaline Mildenhall in Boralus. Her locations are below.
Bring the letter she gives you back to Ancel Mildenhall at /way 68.8, 65.1.
Accept Bumbles the Bee. Raimond's Secret Ingredient can be found at /way 73, 72. Return to the basement and complete the quest.

Now, repeat these steps for 7 days. It does not have to be in a row.

Pick up Let's Bee Friends from the basement.
Farm Vial of Honey Slime x8 from any enemy around the Meadery.
Click on the vial on the table and receive Mildenhall Growth Formula. Feed this to Bumbles every day for seven days, and you'll obtain both Bumbles and Let's Bee Friends.

How to Earn Reputation - StrategyPasteTomTom

Kill Honey Smasher every day - Honey Smasher gives 500 reputation with Honeyback Hive upon killing him and a chance to obtain Jelly. He also drops some cosmetic items, such as the Crimson Skipper battle pet, and items to dress up your bee pets, including Minuscule Fez, Tiny Dapper Hat, and Little Princess Cap. You can kill Honey Smasher once per day. He has a short respawn. He is considered a Rare Elite, though he can be soloed if you have decent gear.

Do Honeyback Harvester events - These are found in multiple locations. You can do Honeyback Harvester events multiple times per day. Create a /tar macro and fly around the zone spamming it, or see the map below. Once you find one, you will be able to do an 'enemy-wave' type event for rewards.

Search for Jelly Deposits - Turn 'Ground Clutter' to 1 under System Settings. This will help you see the Jelly Deposits. Use group finder to phase hop if you see groups in Stormsong Valley and your phase is too crowded. Monel-Hardened Stirrups allows you to loot while mounted.

Buy Jelly from the Auction House - You can purchase all Jelly on the Auction House if you are looking to speed things up.

Feed Jelly to the bee - You progressively raise reputation with Honeyback Harvester, from Nascent Harvester, to Mature Harvester, raising it to leave the hive.

Obtain this item as soon as possible - Beeholder's Goggles will help greatly with efficiency. You could also buy Alluring Bloom; however, you are often going to end up back at the hive regardless, especially if you have flying. Use all other Thin Jelly on reputation. Jelly Magnet will help too.

Raise the Honeyback Harvester into a 'Mature' Honeyback Harvester, which is the equivalent of Exalted.

Reach Exalted reputation with Honeyback Hive.

What's up with all the Alliance-specific stuff? I suppose I'm just whining, but there really should be a horde-only equivalent for this faction, mount and pets. I don't mind having to either level and play an opposite-faction toon to get stuff (or wait until someone else does and buy it on the AH) so long as I can do the same for my own faction, not unlike what they did with Polished Pet Charm purchasable pets. But an entire new faction that includes a mount and pet that has no counterpart? Seems like a pretty huge oversight. This is unless I'm missing something?

One last step not mentioned, you'll have a thin jelly in your bag. Use it on the spot directly in front of Barry. You'll get a little rep and he'll walk out. Now you can gather rep and nodes outside.

I did everything on the guide to unlock the faction, I even have it in my bar already, But I cannot find a suingle Jelly Deposit and the rare did not gave me rep. Does anyone know about this?

Someone was kind enough to tell me that I could use the bee pet from the Storm's Wake vendor in lieu of Bumbles, so I bypassed that 7-day time-gate altogether! Can confirm, you don't need Bumbles. Although I DID do all the quests already that led up to the point in that process where you had to farm for the Amulet.

The Storm's Wake one costs 250 pet charms. Or I suppose you could buy it off the AH (?)

I'd like tell you great job on this. Just a headnote: you can include the /cway line below TomTom+Paste macros so wherever you are, the first Waypoint arrow will point to the closest one (cway= closest waypoint).

I picked up the Thin Jelly, I offered it to the Hivemother, spoke to Barry, they did their dance and now I can enter the cave.

I clicked on the Nascent Harvester which gave me Neutral rep 0/3000 with Honeyback Hive. There is no dialogue option with the Nascent Harvester to offer the Thin Jelly. I tried clicking on the jelly with the Nascent Harvester on target, nothing happened. The Thin Jelly I'm offering is the same one I offered to the Hivemother.

So my confusion is, the guide says you have to offer the Jelly to the Nascent Harvester to get an initial 20 rep and then you can see the jellies. But, if I can't get the Nascent Harvester to take this Jelly because I've already used it on the Hivemother, then how do I 'see' jellies to pick up a fresh one to give to it?

Also, I did the rare and got no rep so obviously until you get the initial 20 rep you not only can't see the jellies but you get no rep for anything.

So how do I get past this point?

EDIT: Just in case anyone else gets confused by this; to be able to offer the Thin Jelly to the Nascent Harvester you must complete the dialogue with Barry. THEN you can feed the Nascent Harvester and rep begins.

So now that this is on live I collected 500 thin jelly and transferred over to the PTR several times to transfer it to one character.

The only trigger for the mount is completing the friendship bar for the two bees. The first bee is 3500 friendship. The second bee is 7000 friendship.
If you want the mount the only thing you have to do is collect 2100 thin jelly (non human) thin jelly honey (human)

Reputation gives you a chance to get higher quality honey when looting in the zone.

I am at the step where you talk to Barry and then feed the Nascent. However before I could talk to Barry he disappeared and can't be found in the cave, beside the cave, in front of the cave, back at Mildenhall. I have reloaded, relogged, gone back to Boralus and logged. He is nowhere to be found, and I can't feed the nascent because Bazza is goneskies. Has this happened to anyone else?

If it is night time and you are struggling to see the Jellies on the ground due to it being....dark. Use the toy Jar of Sunwarmed Sand which is available in the caverns of time for i think 500 timewalking tokens. It changes the 'time' to mid day and makes it much brighter and easier to see. 24hr CD but it lasts for 2 hours :)

Even though you may have the bee pet to start this you still need to be level 120 which I haven't seen mentioned in any guide for this. So don't bother flying your lower level characters to Stormsong to try and get extra jelly

Did Jelly Deposits get buffed or was I just unlucky? After getting Beeholder's Goggles within 15mins of using it I got 2x Jelly Magnet 2x Rich Jelly 1x Royal Jelly from Jelly Deposits, hidden effect of the goggles maybe?

Edit: people are reporting Honeyback Hive rep level is what is actually improving drops from Jelly Deposits.

So I am now looking for Harvester events... made one circuit, notning, tried it again. Came upon what I surmise was an event in progress, so I joined in. Lotsa 1M+ HP mobs to deal with. Nothing to click on, got nothing by the time the group flew away. So I take it one can NOT simply join in a fight in progress, correct? So 2 full circuits and if I see something in progress, it's a waste for me. Is THIS how it was meant to be? Or is it ONLY about joining up in PUG groups?

The list of Jelly Deposit Locations is not formatted correctly. There are 9 entries near the bottom of the list that have no comma separating the coords. There is also an entry with 3 digits after the decimal, though I don't know if that makes a difference.

Great guide, thank you! I'm absolutely head over heels with this mount and can't wait to start working towards it! I really hope they remove the faction restriction on mounting though. I'm an ally main but there's no reason to not let horde use the bee, especially when we can mount Kua'fon.

I've gotten Rich Jelly from the Jelly Deposits, and it seems more frequent after hitting Honored. I wonder if you're more likely the higher your rep is?

I talked to Barry, then the bee, to hand in my first jelly, but I only got 13 standing (including Human racial), not the 20 this guide says.

The guide also says that doing so unlocks jelly nodes; I'm using the waypoints but no jelly is spawning at all, so I'm worrying my character got bugged out somehow and now can't get any standing ever. Anybody got something similar? How to fix?

Where this macro just get the player position and send the message to the general channel (that is the /1) if your channel number is different tan 1 change the number at the end of the macro.

Does the rep show up on the Reputation tab of the character window? When do you start accruing rep? Is it during the 7 day period where you are feeding Bumbles? Or once you complete the dailies and have Bumbles in your stable?

I adapted a macro I use when farming rep items, it shows 1. how many more Thin Jelly items you need until you get exalted, and 2. what percentage you're at in case you're aiming for 5% per day or something idk. Also shows the number of Thin Jellys in your bag.

It seems the Honey Harvester Events are only doable every 20-25 Minutes.
If you do it more frequently there wont spawn a lootable honey deposit. Can others confirm this?

I guess thats Blizzard`s way to prevent people from getting the mount to quickly by realm hopping from event to event.

Rep items drops from rares whether or not they are the last wave. I've had two rares during an event an each gave the rep quest item.

Horde can loot the honeycomb at the end of an event they take part in. I've got non jelly related items dropped (basically the vendor stuff). Possible that the pets can then be looted by horde (I think I saw this mentioned somewhere from the PTR so was checking- haven't had a pet form Horde or alliance yet though) similar to how my horde characters get non-jelly related loot from Honey Smasher.

I know how we could farm the rep faster: EVENTS. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT START ANY EVENT, BEFORE GETTING 20+ PEOPLE AT LEAST AT THE AREA. THE EVENT, ONCE STARTED, LASTS UP TO AROUND 5 MINUTES. YOU GOT 5 MINUTES TO GET AT LEAST TO WAVE 15 (YOU CAN SEE THE COUNT BY THE MOBS'S STACKS) WHERE IT SPAWNS A RARE (GREY ICON, NOT THE YELLOW ONES FOR THE ELITES AT 5 AND 10 WAVES). THIS RARE MIGHT DROP AN ITEM THAT START A QUESTS THAT GIVES 750 REP.

Sorry for the caps but it gets on me nerves seeing people keep starting it even if you spam chats not to, to WAIT for more people. The Jelly deposit that drops on ground comes on EVERY event, and you may get it or not, but the RARE DROPS loot itself, if killed in enough time (at least within the 5 minutes, once event is started).

Also, I dunno if it is a bug, but I've seen EVEN HORDE PEOPLE STARTING THE DAMN EVENT. Way to go blizz, if they can't get the jellies, they should'nt be able to even talk to the Event's bees.

so how much rep, friendship do you get for the different types of jelly when you feed them to the harvester, is it better to buy/use thin jelly or do you get more for handing in royal jelly. You can buy 8 thin jelly for one royal and 1 royal for 8 thin.

The Honeyback Harvester event have a loot lockout, it seems to reset when a new hour begin so if you get loot 10.05 you can get loot again after 11.00 = you can technically do the event 24 times in a day.

If you are eligible for loot your minimap will show a huge star/loot cache at the event location.

(This is why you sometimes finish an event no Fresh Jelly Deposit spawn. You can always loot the mobs)

Edit: I've found that many in the general chat does not agree with my theory so I'm trying to test it properly. Very interested in input.
I did this with VM ON and the same character:
- 12.20 - Got loot
- 13.59 - Got loot (But another player said they did it 50 min ago and didn't get loot)
- 14.12 - Got loot
- 14.23 - No loot
- 14.30 - No loot
- 14.53 - No loot
- 15.10 - Got loot
- 15.15 - No loot
- 15.31 - No loot
- 15.48 - No loot

You can speed up farming process a lot if you find a person with Beeholder's Goggles . Usually they don't circle around but fly from point to point and find Thin Jelly in difficult places. Even if they don't want to make a team you can just mark them up with Skull or something and fly behind. Monel-Hardened Stirrups saves time and helps to stay on tail.

I'd recommend not even using the Jelly Magnet. It gives you maybe 1 extra Jelly every 5 deposits. Also upon activating it it seemed to remove all Deposits from the map, as I barely found more than 4 in the first 10 minutes. Then I landed funny and the game disconnected me (Good to see this bug still exists 4 years later) and it removed the buff from me, with 15 minutes left.

Beevents don't actually grant reputation, in and of themselves. They just drop lots of jelly, and of course the minibosses with their relevant quest items (which also seem to be 1-time only).

Second attempt using the Jelly Magnet, actually did what it was supposed to this time. 125 Thin Jelly + 6 Rich Jelly in the half hour duration. This is including 1 Fresh Deposit from an event. (Well I should say in the 25 minutes, as for the last 5 I don't think I successfully gathered from a single Deposit, they all despawned while I was casting gather or before I managed to click them, thanks again for that Blizz)

Compared to my first time using it where I gained about 4 extra Jelly in the 15 minutes I had the buff, this was much more on-par with how it should work. (15 minutes were lost because I landed next to a deposit and was disconnected from the game, upon reconnecting no more than 30 seconds later, the buff was removed)

It's worth noting I am Honored, so have a slightly higher chance to get more Thin Jelly/Rich Jelly anyway, and also do not have the Beeholder's Goggles.

Lessons Learned on Proudmoore (US) Realm

Only waves 5/10/15/etc count for loot
All waves scale up to 40 people tagging.Scaling Note: 40 was when the scaling was introduced. Rumor has it that's been dropped to 30 or 25, which may explain why the last 10 added to the group make a big difference. Also it's open world so anyone can join. By grouping over 30 people you basically discount lower DPS by getting above the scaling.
To manage Mob Health, most groups say that under 20k dps burst should not touch non boss wave (see list first item -- example: my lock can do 25k dps on bosses, but not trash, he only touches waves 5/10/15/etc)
Stack in flowers to allow area of effect dps to be more effective; this makes melee burst much higher and the suggested people to burn down non boss waves. Note for WARLOCKS: Do not use your tank pet. That is less dps.
Note for HUNTERS: Growl is fine, as long as your pet is parked in the flower bed so melee have minimal movement
Grouping for buffs helps; This is not quested therefore raid groups allowed and suggested (even between events)
You may only get loot once an hour, event is roughly every 20 minutes. (timer for next seems to be 20 to 30 min from start
~~Using the proper timer and starting on bee send off shows you the first 5 min (event time) and when you can loot again (timer runs out). proper timer~~ UPDATE: A friend and I tested. Those who say resets on the hour marker appear correct. You can only loot once per hour marker in game server time. Timer for event: /timer 300
Legion Priest knife chain causes phasing on some event locations
As tested with a friend at low attendance event: tagging one increases health to all mobs in wave. This means ST v AOE is based on class/spec. Do whichever you get higher burst with.
Papi was obtained by a shaman i know with Friendly Reputation on an event that ended on Wave 8.
The tradeable 250 charm Seabreeze Bumblebee works to start open the faction and often asking politely gets you the loan
If you want to buy, you need 263 Royal Jelly before you start, or if they are cheaper, 525 Rich Jelly or 2100 Thin Jelly. Each type stacks to 250.

Can you kill Gurg the Hivethief before he disappears? solo.

And if yes. Then is it time based? from the moment he appears or from the moment you start the Honeyback Harvester Event?

First time i encountered it he took off as soon as i hit him. Leaving behind some Jelly.

Second time i encountered him i stunned him instantly and got around 30 seconds to actually fight him before he once again ran off this time without leaving anything behind.

Both encounters was on the same day so i don't know if you can only do this event once per day for a reward or if i got unlucky he took off without leaving any jelly behind.

I am surprise no one has listed waypoints for Bee Events, I guess either i am blind or i will be the first one to make a listing. :)

I highly recommend to install the AddOn called CopyPasta and TomTom, after doing so paste in these /way points spawn points in the CopyPasta AddOn.

So I did multiple Honeyback Harvester events in the last 24 hours and got the questitems from the "bossmobs" ONCE. They don't drop anything since then, only some of them drop 5 Jellys. Plus I don't get the Jelly loot after the event sometimes (like 50%).

Does anyone have an statistics on the drop rates and loot from the events? Aside from not having enough people to manage all phases within the time limit, how many times an hour can you receive loot? Is by the hour, at the top of the hour? I've heard tons of speculation.

I got the goggles as soon as I could and have only used them twice. I don't see any difference between using them and not using them. I don't get multiples with them on or see nodes more frequently. I feel like the jelly I used would have been better spent on rep.

BUT reaching exalted with the "Honeyback Hive" Dont mean you will get the Bee mount. You still need to get his friendship bar full. Now with DMF buff i got exalted with the faction but still miss 2100 rep with the bee itself

Can You please edit the guide, that this rep is only available to level 120 characters (You can't start Step Two of the guide with lower char).
And also mention that one can farm Smasher on alts, to send jellies to main, but also, only if alts are 120 (lower alts don't get jelly drops).

I think this is one of the most confusing guide I've ever read. Couldn't figure out where the step begins how to start. Rewards before the How To, and other things all mixed and stuffed in tabs...

JUST DO THIS;

- Buy the pet from the Stormsong rep vendor. Go to the Barry location (69,64) and head to north following the green patches, and don't enter instantly inside the cave.
Bring the honey patch near the cave, give it to the Queen, wait all the speech, and talk again to the Queen, not to Barry.

Handle all the honey jelly to the bees.

END OF THE GUIDE, fast, simple, clear.

If you are like me, after following the green circles and then stuck in the entrance of the cave and nothing happens nor when you talk to the Bee Queen/Barry, you need to find an item around 63.28 and give it to the Bee Queen and then talk to Barry to have him continue talking and then have access to the cave and start to unlock the new faction.

You need to make sure once you open the cave, that you continue to talk to Barry and then offer the jelly in your bags to the larvae. This will cause Barry to leave the cave and assume a position of vendor outside. Without doing this, you will find yourself with the Harvester rep bar opened up but you won't be able to loot any jelly from any of the world events. It took me 5 days of doing events and getting nothing but bee hats before I put in a ticket with Blizzard and support let me know I needed to move Barry outside the cave. Cheers!

I should point out that the 15th Anniversary Experience buff will get you to exalted sooner, however that 15% does not apply to the Nascent/Juvenile Harvester when you feed it. So you might get Exalted before the bee matures.

If anyone wonders the reputation buffs give you more friendship with the bees. So during the 15th anniversary event and Darkmoon fair you get +25% reputation, which means you get +50 friendship for a Royal Jelly. This decreases the required Royal jellies from 263 to 210! A Thin Jelly yields +6 friendship which means the required Thin Jelly decreases from 2100 to 1750, which is 219 Royal Jelly. Make sure to transform the Thin Jelly to Royal Jelly during this period. You can always feed the jelly to the bee no matter if you got a reputation buff or not.
Reputation is only a side need to buy the item from the queen.
Most important is Friendship to the bee you are feeding.
You need so much jelly for friendship that reputation comes automatically also without any buff.

I think it is strange that the bee and the faction did not progress at the same rate.

When I hit exalted with the faction, my bee still had a little over 3000 to go to reach mature and friendly. How difficult would it have been to make them reach exalted and mature at the same time?

I think I've cracked the code for how often you can do the honey harvester event. It seems that you can do one per hour, but the timer for that hour is not when you last did one; it's a minute after the actually hour (so 1:01, 2:01, 3:01, etc)

I've been farming the event every 20min on my horde toon (I know that sounds strange), so I couldn't join premade groups because horde side obviously doesn't have any for harvester. Every 20min I logged on and found the bee and waited for someone to start the event. A few of those times I didn't get loot, but here are the two events that made me realize it resets on the hour:
1. I found the harvester at 12:52 and my rare alert didn't go off since I wasn't eligible for the event. At 1:01, my rare alert went off.
2. I joined an event at 3:55 knowing that my rare alert didn't go off, but I decided to test it anyways. at 4:00 the last bee came to drop off the honeycomb and it was invisible for me. At 4:01 the honeycomb appeared and I actually could loot it.

So I think maybe that will clear up the discrepancy on why some people report being able to do it more often than once an hour.

P.S. I'm not one of those horde jerks that starts the event while an ally group is waiting to form. I'm just trying to get the inscription recipe. I'm also farming the mount on my main ally toon. Good luck to all.

Just confirmed today that Honey Smasher and the quest items from the Harvester events ARE given a bonus from the Darkmoon Whee! buff.

Quests gave me 825 rep
Smasher gave me 550 rep

In case it makes a difference, I did have the carousel buff and not the hat buff. (I know they SHOULD be the same, but there could be some differences)

This guide skips a pretty important part: how you actually unlock the faction. You don't unlock it just by bringing Bumbles or Seabreze to Barry. You have to go to the new hive which is at 62.93, 26.58 where you will find the Honeyback Hivemother. You have to get Thin Jelly from 63.20, 28.44 to give to the Hivemother. There is some RP between Barry and the Hivemother and then she will become neutral to you and go into her cave. Go talk to her and then you are officially neutral with the Honeyback Hive. Talk to Barry again and then feed the Thin Jelly to the Nascent Harvester and you will get your first bit of rep with the faction.

Most of the coords from 1st post are incorrect (jellies were like 50 yards away of them) or there were no jellies at all. Some coords (jelly or event) are directly in the middle of mobs, for instance 69 70 coord - how can there be an event?

It's currently at the end of BfA, and probably the best time to simply buy your way to this mount. On Borean Tundra (med pop server) it only cost me ~70k to get enough to complete this mount. After people stop farming I'm sure the cost will rise.

Just want to mention to anyone that is currently doing this grind towards the end of BFA - while the "impressive influence" buff is live, there is a good chance that you will hit exalted with the Honeyback Hive before the juvenile harvester that you have been feeding hits maturity! This just happened to me and it took me a little bit to figure it out.

I am trying to troubleshoot an issue that my wife is having with the intro quest. We were in a group and approached Barry with our Bumble pets summoned. We were able to follow the pheromones to the Hivemother. My wife didn't see them after her Bumbles investigated initially. She never saw them even though I could see them when I followed them. She did see the Hivemother with me though. I was able to look for the honey/honeycomb and turn that in and complete the intro. She is absolutely stuck with the angry Hivemother. She can't find the honey/honeycomb that Barry refers to. We have dropped group, logged in and out. We are at a loss. Blizzard Customer Service wouldn't help. So we turn to the "Hive Mind" (see what i did there?) Thank you for any help you can give!

There’s a lot of information here, but it’s really quite simple:

1) Get Bumbles (via quest) or buy Seabreeze Bumblebee from Rep vendor. TIP: You can cage and trade/sell Seabreeze.

2) Talk to Barry near Mildenhall Meadery flight master. Make sure you have your bee pet out. He’ll blah-blah and you’ll see green gassy clouds on the ground, which leads to the Honeyback Hive. Or you can just fly there: 62.93, 26.68.

3) DO NOT ENTER HIVE at first. She and Barry talk and dance. You need to find a jelly deposit to bribe her with (er, show good intentions). A few yards away from the hive entrance is the first jelly @ 63.20, 28.44 . Look for a honeycomb on ground. It does NOT sparkle or show up on minimap.

4) Enter hive and give your first jelly to the Nascent Harvester, which is the baby bee encased in jelly to the left as you enter hive.

5) Now you should be able to see jelly deposits around Stormsong Valley and start the numbing grind. Start collecting jellies. Nascent “goo bee” eventually hatches from the honey, and you continue to feed him. Do the Honeyback Harvester events and kill Honey Smasher every day. These give you extra rep and extra jellies/toys/stuff.

6) You’ll need to reach EXALTED with the Honeyback Hive faction and raise your friendship with the baby bee until it turns into a Mature Honeyback Harvester. This did not happen simultaneous for me. Barry will give you a short quest, “Leaving the Hive”, which will reward your mount.

TIPS:

Turn your ground clutter System setting to 1. This will allow you to see jelly deposits from a pretty far distance.

The jelly deposits are like any other gathering node - mostly random but show up in same general areas. Nodes can show up in grassy areas, on rocks, in tree knots, next to an outhouse (true story). Sometimes near or in the middle of hostiles.

If you have more than one toon, take your toughest/best geared. On many occasions, my DK took on the giant Honey Smasher and Honeyback Harvester events alone.

Get or make some Monel-Hardened Stirrups (can craft at level 50 Blacksmithing). They make gathering in general easier.

Found ones not currently in the doc:

At 42.3, 40.9, almost covered by the bush; might only be visible if it's a "big"-looking jelly, and hard to see if it's one of the one-hex ones.
At 39.5, 64.1, rock against the cliff near where the Stormsong Hunter NPC stops.

I need help here. I have the seabreeze pet bee. I approached berry, nothing. I dismissed the pet and brought it back out, nothing. I caged it, resummoned it, nothing. I went to the hive, nothing. I went inside and got kicked out, nothing. I went back to Barry and repeated all of this: nothing.

What am I missing here?

So after obtaining the Pet and trying the get the Rep Intro I later discovered that no one had said

ACTIVATE YOUR PET BEFORE YOU SPEAK TO BARRY.

Get the goggles as soon as you can - it might cost the equivalent 80 thin jellies, but it's well worth it. I got nearly halfway to exalted in the first hour of using them.

Honeyback Harvester doesn't show up as one of your reputation factions like Honeyback Hive. Rather, when you interact with the Nascent Harvester, there's a red progress bar at the top of the window showing how much you have fed it.

Thank you for this guide, I am looking to get a pet from the jelly deposits, but I'm on step 4 of your guide and there is no jelly at 63/28 or anywhere nearby for that matter.

If you're coming back to this in later expansions and just wanting to buy jelly on the AH, I needed 213 Royal Jelly to go from Neutral to Exalted with no rep bonuses.

Today I found the event at The Jeweled Coast, roughly 33, 34 and I couldn't reach it, my character would change to a phase where there are just some naga spawned and no event. Does anyone know why is that and how do I stop this phasing?

Let's make it clear, your Harverster baby bee will give you its Honeyback Harvester's Harness so you can mount it once you feed it and it becomes an adult. Reaching exalted with the Honeyback Hive will do nothing. You will need a total of 263 Royal Jelly to grow your baby Harvester to an adult (Nascent Harvester 3,500 and Juvenile Harvester 7,000. Each Royal Jelly awards 40 growth points).
Once your Harvester becomes an adult, it'll give youLeaving the Hive which rewards the mount. You will reach Exalted with the Honeyback Hive rep sooner than your baby Harvester reaches adulthood because you'll probably kill the daily elite who awards 500 rep points toward the hive, but not the baby bee.

TLDR
Feed your Nascent Harvester 263 x Royal Jelly to reach adulthood and get it as a mount. Don't worry about the Honeyback Hive rep.

Not sure when this change occurred, but this reputation now counts towards 100 Exalted Reputations. This gives Alliance 1 extra reputation to earn compared to Horde.

I bought 263 Royal Jelly from the auction house, with the human racial each turn-in came out to 176 rep per. Easiest rep I've ever grinded, and it looks like it counts towards the reputation achievements.

Anyone else having issues with finding the npc that starts the waves of enemies? I wasted a few hours on it. If you're looking for them, I've only seen them spawn at the lush flower beds.

When you pump in the jellies and finally hit exalted don't be concerned if you can't get the quest to get your mount. You may have hit exalted but you still have to pump in a few more jellies to get your bee to fully mature before the quest is offered. Had me wondering for while, hope this helps someone.
