I am still waiting for braided beards, full beards, more customizable beards overall & HD void elf hairstyles without tentacles for blood elves. I would happily exchange my liver for this. At least I'd die happy and fulfilled.

Having flipped through the human options and seen that clothed models display the necklaces -over- their armor, I'm a little scared (okay, really quite terrified) about the body jewelry showing up over armor, too. The only body jewelry that looks appealing to me is the basic-ish necklace one, but it's got that super-stupid leg bit with it, so it's really only usable if that part can definitely be hidden under armor.

...that said, everything else is pretty exciting, although I *am* wondering where my afro/dreadlock hairstyles are. Dark skin tones are great, but some hair to match them would be nice.

Please blizzard for the love of god let me use those red eyes... If the alliance can finally get high elves(plastered on top of an already cool allied race) I beg you let me be a dark ranger. You could even block the option for classes other than rogues and hunters if dark ranger mages seem too far fetched! This is my dream customization and it would feel so bad not to get it this expac considering all the new options thrown left and right. :(

These changes look amazing so far. I do hope they include the body jewelry ideas we can see in the dressing room, or maybe tattoos for void and blood elves (like Alleria has).

I like the new hairdos, but I would love to have hair additions, like the tiara and circlets, be a separate customization option like the jewelry is, or at least be an optional thing for applicable hairdos that you can turn on or off. I really miss the hair pin by the right ear on the "soaked" hairstyle for bloodelves that was removed an expansion or two ago. I hope that comes back as an option.

I agree with the folks wanting to make dark rangers of their bloodelves, red eyes would be pretty awesome for that. Honestly I have been curious if there will ever be an expansion where the Forsaken splits from the Horde and becomes their own faction. Then Dark Rangers could fit in that storyline easily. In fact every race would have an undead version they can create. The original Forsaken can choose to stay with the Horde or leave, similar to the horde questline in BfA. That could be pretty interesting. I actually thought that's where the expansion after BfA was heading with the storyline on Sylvannas until Shadowlands was announced. It might be too complicated to have 3 factions, though. Who knows... just a thought, anyway.

Gxds, most of all I'm hoping for masc jewellery options. Give men earrings! (Body type variants would be nice too but I suspect that's getting a bit ahead of everything.) It'd also be lovely to see hairstyles that were drafted in the official BC art book make an appearance, perhaps unrevealed style drafts as well? Diversity, the sheer expanse of possibility, just brings so much life to the world. While I dream of a Quel'Thalas update to the quality standard of Suramar or Dazar'alor, this fares well enough in the mean time. I greatly appreciate the work of the art team but I also want for their health and happiness, not to be overloaded with too much all at once. <3

The side part hair looks great and is a welcome addition but I was hoping for more interesting hairstyles for male blood elves. How about a stylish mohawk with a blood elf touch (so it doesn't look exactly like other races' mohawks)? And a short '90s middle part hairstyle?. Even a pompadour would fit in with the blood elf aesthetic.

As for hair colours: why not teal? It would compliment most, if not all of the skin tones.

Allow for pierced ears for male blood elves and face jewellery for both genders. It is ostentatious but is that really out of character?

Just a few additions but it would make for some great variation.

Tho i would like to get the option to trim the eyebrows as well so they don't clip threw every single god dam helmet in this game.

The Blood Elves have three aesthetics:
Magister, Farstrider, and Blood Knight.

The JeWeLrEy may fit the Magister Fantasy but I couldn't see a Farstrider or Blood Knight touching it with a 10 ft pole.

It's actually pretty tacky looking, like something on the clearance rack from Claire's.

I sure hope we aren't getting that instead of, you know, tatoos, scars, dreads, afros, braids, hair feathers, or anything that's actually cool.

The hairs for the females are just recycled from the male blood elf and then the female gnomes. Nothing unique :(

I have yet to see a single customization that I would use for Blood Elves.

There is one I would use, and it's already in the game but for some reason that makes no sense, HAVE YET TO BE ADDED FOR PLAYERS in a expansion touted as heavily customizable for players.

HINT: There is a ton of them wandering around outside Tol Dagor.

So, I'm loving the hairstyle "Tiara" but I have one thing to say about it: Please stop introducing such pretty hair styles and forcing an ornament on them. I'd gladly make a character that once in a while wears a Tiara, but all the time? I don't know.

I'm really hoping we get more hairstyles for both genders, more then just the three - I would love to see some scars as well. The hairs to me are just downright horrible to mog with besides the short hair, especially the tiara one because then you have the problem of trying to match colors with said Tiara. Overall it would've been better to not have added jewelry we cannot remove to hairstyles. I would love to see some more long-hair styles for both female & males, both straight and curly options. The same with every race - we truly don't have enough long-hairstyles in the first place.

Like mentioned above I'd also like some more pale options then what we have - with the palest being still rather tan.

They really dropped the ball on Blood Elf females. Those hairstyles are awful, body jewellery isn’t something I recall anyone asking for. No tattoos, no scars, all of our skins given over to Void Elves making us less unique.

Male Blood Elves at least got short hair and full beard, but the rest of their options are awful too.

It’s starting to feel like we’re the allied race.

I check wowhead every day especially after the beta hoping belfs gets some more love. Everything looks cool but aside from the goatee the other two are uninspiring on their own. But they are perfectly shaped for editions of side burns and mustaches like the humans and nerves have gotten. They are so close yet so far... ugh. I have like 7 blood elves and facial hair is the only thing that would be able to differentiate em aside from the already existing hair. I really don't wanne complain since if we don't get it now we may get it in the future as they aren't done with customizations, but id actually like some decent options to be ready for pre patch.

So.. The most vain race in the game so far gets the worst customizations. What the heck are we supposed to do with those bracelets? Don't we already have wrist options to use as transmog? And what is that clunky collection of neck jewellery? It looks like pieces of armour just slung around their necks.

Where are the tattoos?
The scars?
The GOOD hairstyles?

Humans now get to have purple eyes and so does velfs. But us belfs who's been asking for purple and red for years get a bunch of shades of yellow and green... And blue?

It's like blizzard went out of their way to anger the blood elf players with sub-par customization options, which is super ironic considering that a large portion of the horde player base are blood elves.

Strange that there isn't an option to get Nightfallen style tattoos. -Similar to Demon Hunters. Nothing would be more showy and blood-elf like that burning some mana into your skill with intricate patterns. I like some of these looks but also think tattoos would be more suited, with a twist; like stuff that glows just under the skin very faintly. Red eyes ...mmm yeah I can see that. -Considering that the original Blood Elves in Azshara do actually have blood red eyes and all...

I shouldn't say what is missing, but I guess I have to... It's two-tone hair. From blonde to dark, even dark roots. But also streaks and just hair that looks very expensive. I'm sure any lady would agree that good streaks are not only showy but expensive, and blood elves would have all of that in spades.

Eyebrow options - Night elves are getting them, why not us?
Freckles - Please.
The face runes we saw on old Blood elf artwork - YES.
Jewelry for male Blood elves - Guys want earrings too.
Scars - Again, why not? It's not like Blood elves can't have scars
Tattoos - Everyone's getting tattoos, again, why not us? I recently got my shoulder tattooed, why can't my rogue have a tattooed shoulder?
Nail polish choices - DKs have different nail polish, eye color could be separated from faces, nails can be separated from skin.

The new customisations for Blood Elves are so disappointing in comparison to that of other races. Who thought another circlet hairstyle (where the circlet colour is set and cannot be altered) and a shaved head are good looks for male blood elves? Aside from the side part hairstyle it's just more disappointing and unimaginative additions.

Why can't male blood elves have earrings?
Why don't we have access to more hair colours?
Face jewellery?
Tattoos that are race appropriate?

For such an ostentatious race, the options available are very limited.

I think all the added options are great!
However I am not understanding how they still have hairbands with colour, or no option to change them. The teal ruins so many mogs. Just make it neutral. And they added the most beautifull hair ever, but set a tiara on it, so it no longer is possible to match with anything. Let hair bands, tiaras, and such be seperate options. Took so much time adding decore for under the gear many will never see, but what you actually can see is left with no options. I do not get it.

it's so strange to me that male blood elves don't have any ear jewelry options - when in many parts of the game, blood elves are stereotypically vain and care a lot about how 'fancy' they are.

i also highly dislike that you cannot change the jewel color of some of the jewelry as well as the metal color itself - for example, you can have a silver necklace on your female blood elf but if you use the new 'tiara' hairstyle it will heavily clash as the hardware color on the tiara is gold and NOT changeable. (you can't remove the tiara either, which is unfortunate since i'd probably use the hairstyle itself for the elegant bun in the back)
while gold, green and red are the signature colors for the race, locking the customization of the jewelry/hair ornaments to 1-3 select color options makes it extremely hard to justify using them unless you are trying to fit the ordinary aesthetic.

many people seek the dark ranger look that for some reason just isn't available to players. i would love the option to have red eyes on my death knight as well as black or red jewelry/hair ornaments. i can't even see myself using the silver jewelry as my character dons blue toned black gear, and would much prefer the option to have a darker metal!

something that has always bothered me about wow is that while other games, notably mmos, have color wheels or many color options to choose from, wow has always had a rather limited palette despite the fantasy of the game. surely it is not too much of a chore to add more color skins in the expansion that is supposed to add much needed customizations & diversity?

i'm a little disappointed as i highly value creating and customizing characters in any fantasy rpg. i've tried other mmos but always return to wow for the gameplay experience and aesthetic - however i do always enjoy the customization freedom that other games offer; something wow continues to lack.

Finally can make my Rogue look like Drizzt Do'Urden - or rather a Drow Elf like back in the AD&D Unearthed Arcana days and the Forgotten Realms Campaign and Novel Setting, with his famed dual-wield ability. Wish it could have Violet- Purple Eyes though to match his.

But I'm not complaining - this is a HUGE improvement. I think Blood Elves would have developed some form of Arcane Tattooing at some point though - burned by the Sun Well type of Rite. But still wonderful variations now available.

I really wish the tiara hair would have an option to remove the crown or at least make it silver.
I love this hairstyle and it would fit my warlock perfectly except for the golden crown. :(

There were plenty of elves in Silvermoon raised by Arthas who weren't farstriders. Lets get the red eyes and undead skin! If Trolls can be Sand Trolls, if Void Elves can be High Elves, and if Dwarves can be Wildhammer Dwarves, I'd say it would be fair to add Forsaken Elves to the Blood Elf customization. Dark Rangers still feel a connection to Silvermoon and the Blood Elves. They're Blood Elves too. As Dark Ranger Velonara said, "Both the sin'dorei and Forsaken are my kin. I stand with them, and with the Horde." Plus, red eyes would fit with the whole "blood" in the blood elves thing, even when used without the undead skin. Red is big in the Blood Elf color motifs.
