Press Blackout Kick on cooldown: Blackout Kick is a major ability in a Brewmaster's rotation, featuring a short, static cooldown that is completely unaffected by Haste. Whether you have a lot of Haste or only a little, its cooldown will always stay the same, and your global cooldown will only be 1 second. This means that you will only have to plan your next few abilities at a time before needing to press Blackout Kick again. No matter how complicated things may seem in the rotation, stick to this main idea. It will be the key to your success!

Spend Energy wisely: Although Energy is a Brewmaster's primary resource, there are only four main abilities that actually cost any to use: Keg Smash, Tiger Palm/Spinning Crane Kick, and Expel Harm. You always want to have enough Energy to cast Keg Smash when it is available, and will want to use other abilities that have no cost before filling in any remaining gaps with Tiger Palm or Spinning Crane Kick. Expel Harm will be reserved for quick bursts of healing, depending on your talent build.

Manage your Stagger: A Brewmaster will almost always be suffering some amount of damage from their Stagger passive, turning a portion of every attack into a DoT effect. However, this doesn't actually reduce your total damage taken unless you do something to reduce the size of this DoT. Take advantage of the multiple abilities that help to minimize your Stagger damage, such as Purifying Brew.

Pandaren: The iconic Monk race and a top-tier choice for either faction. Epicurean is very competitive with every racial stat or throughput ability, and Bouncy is valuable a lot more often than you’d expect. While Quaking Palm is somewhat underwhelming, it can provide another instant CC option in a pinch.

Blood Elf: Arcane Torrent makes Blood Elves great in Mythic+, while in raids Arcane Acuity keeps them decently competitive. They're good, but not great.

Night Elf: Shadowmeld remains a staple ability for high-level Mythic+ players, often used to coordinate incredible bypasses of enemy forces as a group. Meanwhile, so long as you play during the day, Touch of Elune provides a Brewmaster's preferred stat of Critical Strike.

Highmountain Tauren: While they lack the unique Mythic+ power of Blood Elf, they gain a nice AoE CC/mobility tool in Bull Rush. Mountaineer is also a great passive bonus.

Dwarf: Stoneform is one of the best defensive racials around. Might of the Mountain is also an excellent offensive bonus, especially when your Critical Strike chance is high.

Tauren: A strong racial choice for a tank, thanks to Endurance, and a frequently potent DPS race due to Brawn. War Stomp is a useful AoE stun but lacks the mobility potential of Highmountain Tauren.

Human: The Human Spirit provides a very handy bonus to all Secondary stats, and No Place Like Home is one of the better out-of-combat bonuses available to any race for quality of life.

Orc: Offering an on-use damage boost (Blood Fury) that can combine with a damage cooldown, an Orc's Command also slightly boosts the damage of a Brewmaster's Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox due to being considered a pet.

Void Elf: Though usually favored by casters due to Preternatural Calm, Entropic Embrace still offers a useful, if random, increase in damage dealt. In addition, Spatial Rift can be used as an additional teleport when Transcendence may not be available.

Overall a great guide. The most you can get though, for people like me, is actually getting into the game and going. As for BFA so far, I feel BrM are still very good overall(no surprise). I’ve ran most mythic dungeons in the first week and you feel squishy until about 320-330 ilvl. After that you feel completely in control depending on your healer. I’ve ran with a holy pally and Mw mostly, hot healers are always going to agree more with BrM. The biggest problems that I’ve noticed in the mythics were the mob sizes. We forget we don’t have legendaries no more so the real WoW is in full affect. I personally run guard and it’s just more streamline on a very short cd

seems like it does not work in many places and relying on it for slow fall instead of goblin glider etc will get you killed

Talent guides are wrong if you follow the guide youll be stuck on row 4 because it requires one more talent in the previous nodes

Exploding keg bugs with Empty the Cellar, then you just pull random groups with Fuel on the Fire. If that doesn't happen.

The race section on all the monk guides is outdated. Humans no longer have Diplomacy, as it was replaced with No Place Like Home in 11.0
