Boost (Default Keybind: 1) - Gain a massive burst of speed for a short duration. This consumes Turbo.

Honk the Horn! (Default Keybind: 2 - Honk your horn, making your feelings known. Honking excessively will silence your Horn for a minute via Time Out!.

Start Job (Default Keybind: 5) - Start a Shipping and Handling task. If you are already on a task, this will cancel it via Clock Out.

Eject! (Default Keybind: 6) - Dismount from your G-99 Breakneck.

Boosting and DriftingG-99 BreakneckBoost

Drifting your vehicle. By holding down your Spacebar while riding your car, you will start drifting, gaining 2 Turbo every 0.5 seconds while maintaining your drift. Drifting only restores Turbo when taking a turn. Releasing your Spacebar will stop the drifting.
In addition to regenerating Turbo, drifting allows you to make sharper turns.

Drifting has me confused because spacebar does nothing. I assume drift is mapped to your jump button, and my mapping is weird because I'm an old-fashioned weirdo who uses arrow keys instead of WASD, so my jump is numpad 0. The weird thing is that the car also jumps, which confuses me.

This isn't criticism btw, this is a "I'm stupid as hell, someone explain to me like I'm 5 please" cry for help.

How do I brake? The only way to stop seems to be to crash or jump off. I don't play these "kart" games. I'm really confused and frustrated.

Some mechanics i was able to figure out

You actually need to be holding either Walk left, Walk right, Turn left, Turn right first, before you can hold space to drift. Otherwise your car will just jump
At the end of a drift, your car will ignore all sideways momentum and go directly towards the direction your car is facing. Which may be why many find it weirld to handle.
You can do a sharper drift at the cost of speed by letting go of W while drifting
Your drift can only be stopped by releasing spacebar, losing too much speed, or pressing Walk backwards.
To tackle Gold times on races, Your best option with the default engine is the default turbo, as handcranked falls behind and steamboil is difficult to control. Getting all races to bronze will give you the Pozzik standard engine, which is tremendously better. Acceleration doesn't matter in races as the only time you will need to accel from 0 is at the start, and you simply just boost to accelerate.
Drifting only slows you down by a tiny bit. Try to drift as long as you can to get more usage out of your turbo.
Your car doesn't actually have a hitbox, its just you. It can also drive over obstacles that you cannot normally walk over

Also tested the approximate raw speeds for each engine/turbo
Engines

default: 170KMph/105mph/714%
Pozzik Standard: 200KMph/124Mph/857%
Cruiser: 100kmph/62mph/400%

Turbos

Default: Cruiser: 200kmph/124mph, Default: 300kmph/186mph, Pozziks 315kmph/195mph
Handcrank: Cruiser: 165kmph/102mph, Default: 245kmph/152mph, Pozziks:270kmph/167mph
Steamboil: Cruiser: 265kmph/ 164mph, Default:350kmph/217kmph, Pozziks: 370kmph/229mph

Sadly I do not have the GNZ airmaster 9000 engine yet, but i would assume from the trend it would be somewhere around 230/250kmph top speed.
Edit: Tested all 3 turbos and was able to get approximately the same times on the same race with the Pozzik Standard engine,however, with the default engine, handcranked performed worse than the other two, with Pozzik standard engine being about 2 seconds faster across the board. This could be biased as different races could potentially favour different boosts/engines.

PS: The GE86 Tires that decreases drift grip, allowing longer drifts, is almost certainly a reference to AE86, the car driven by the main protagonist of the anime "Inital D", who is known for his drifting skills.

I created a little guide in a this Video Link for you to use a gamepad to control your DRIVE car using the /console GamePadEnable 1 command.
The game lets you by default use your left joysitck to handle directions, accelerate, break, and reverse. The right joystick is used to move your camera and drift if you bind a button of your gamepad to the spacebar. You can also bind the other action buttons to the A/B/X/Y buttons of the gamepad! Thought it'd be fun to try and make it feel a bit like a racing game :D

I completed the quest yesterday and since then I can no longer access the extra action button.

I've already deactivated all addons, written macros etc. but can't access the extra action button.

How do you get your mount back if you drop it from your action bar? I deleted a bar and it doesn't appear in my list of mounts so I can't add it back?

If you lose your car/mount icon, you can either go back into Undermine and see if it appears on your toolbar or you can create a macro.

To create a new macro (main menu → Macros). Choose any icon you want. I choose the gold key icon.
In your macro, type:
/cast G-99 Breakneck
Or if you want the mouseover option where you can see the popup information, you type:
#showtooltip
/cast G-99 Breakneck

I believe the last part of surge pricing needs to change "you" to reflect that this is everyone in zone doing surge pricing. I have often got all three chests only doing a few tasks.
