How Decor Treasure Hunt Quests WorkThe Last ArchitectThe Last Architect

All treasure hunt quests include a three-sentence riddle pointing to a location, and once you find that location, you will dig there for a housing decor piece.

One quest is available from the Last Architect every day

Which quest will be offered is entirely random—quests will be different from player to player.

The waypoint is way off.
It is in the water under the small dock just west of 46 Brittle Spine Island. I don't know if the addresses are the same....
In the north east part of the neighborhood, look for a target with spears sticking out of it on the far side of the river.

Comment by ScarlettLetter

Some of the worst clues I've ever read. Say what you mean and mean what you say, It shouldn't take a google search and a list of locations on WoWhead to find that *stone bridge water flow beneath* ACTUALLY means a couple of rocks in a river just like a dozen other spots. At that point make it all one clue that says *Under open roof, submerged under oxygen, treasure you will find*

Thanks for the great guide, even if some of the coordinates are a bit off. I'll be adding some corrections I don't already see in comments as I come across them. Also gonna alphabetize them.

I'd like to note for others, you can do this quest every day in both neighborhoods on every character. You just need to make sure you turned the quest in or the next character won't be able to pick it up. Apparently I dug up the box but failed to complete the quest by opening it on my main and then thought they'd made it one side or the other each day until I got back around to the main today and realized they still had the quest from yesterday. Sure enough, after officially completing it today, all my characters could once again pick up the quest from both neighborhoods.

Corrected coordinates for:

Long Orgrimmar Bench

I forgot to wait to turn in the quest so I could copy the riddle directly (didn't realize even the riddle would be wrong). So, I'll have to paraphrase: it said something along the lines of:

beneathe stone bluffs,
a stone bridge,
dive for the shipwreck.

It was rather misleading. I found the stone bridge near the original waypoint easy enough, but the "shipwreck" is a tiny little boat at the new coordinates just before a tiny little waterfall and I didn't really have to dive (unless you count diving under the stone bridge and not water). I'll correct the clues if I get it again.

The decor quest for Grand Elven Bookcase with the ridldle "Mushrooms mark the ring. Deep within the shadowed wood. Dig where fireflies swarm (/way #2352 60.3 56.8)" is listed as an Alliance quest but I have it in my Horde character's quest log. I don't know if this is a warband effect or something else. I changed the location to #2351 to show the way point in Razorwind Shore but there's no treasure there. It' is there for my Alliance character.

Neighborhood Decor Treasure Hunt Quests Are NOT Repeatable Once Completed

Hey everyone,

There’s been a lot of confusion about whether the Neighborhood Decor Treasure Hunt Quests are repeatable. I hadn’t gotten one in a long time, so I opened several tickets with Blizzard, and I finally received a clear answer from a GM confirming how they work.

Short version:
There are a limited number of Treasure Hunt quests per neighborhood. Once you complete them and receive the items, they will NOT appear again. This is intended behavior, not a bug.

Below is the full Blizzard support response for reference, with my character name Enigmazz in place of my real-world name:

Blizzard GM Response:

Dear Enigmazz,

Issue ID: #107324651

Greetings Enigmazz, Thank you very much for summoning me, I'm the Game Master Lorightyth. I came from the distant lands of Azeroth and I am in your presence to review your case.

I appreciate the way you explained the situation with the Neighborhood Decor Treasure Hunt Quests. It was clear that you just want to upgrade your house. Sharing this helped me understand the importance of the request, especially since this can affect the progress of your neighborhood.

For this reason, I have reviewed your case in depth and looked for any possible way to handle this situation and I can confirm that there are a limited number of Decor Treasure Hunt quests available in each neighborhood. Therefore, this seems to be something intended, as if you have completed all of them for that neighborhood, they will not appear again.

Here you can see a guide for each faction:

Alliance: https://www.wowhead.com/guide/player-housing/alliance-neighborhood-decor-treasure-hunt-quests-solutions

Horde: https://www.wowhead.com/guide/player-housing/horde-neighborhood-decor-treasure-hunt-quests-solutions

Before leaving, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to contact us and explain your situation. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

Kindly Regards
GM Lorightyth

Hopefully this clears things up for anyone wondering why these quests stopped showing up. If your Treasure Hunts disappeared, it simply means you’ve completed the available ones for your neighborhood.

Good luck decorating!

I don't know if anybody else has realized this, but I think this guys' hints are all haikus.

Long Orgrimmar BenchDown below the bluffs. Water flows below stone bridge. Dive to the shipwreck. The coordinates are actually /way 51.7, 80; alongside some rocks right before a small waterfall.

Comment by Nagaroth

Orgrimmar Tusked Bed: once you enter "The Hull" you need to go to /way 39.51 70.16

Comment by cgilm2526

Does each quest have a different decor as a reward? Just trying to figure out if I need to do all the quests to get all the decor items or if some of the rewards are repeated.

Comment by morticianoire

Orgrimmar Chair is slightly out on co-ordinates, it puts u in the sea. got mine at /way 70.30 49.80 just near to original tomtom waypoints

When you're trying to find the day's current deco using the solutions here, because the quests aren't named after the deco, you have to manually open the 'solution' section for every single one one by one. Please make the riddles display by default to make it less inconvenient to use.

Where kodos take rest. Past gate marked with bone and fire. Dig near the hay bale.

To the right not the left and behind the haystack.

/way #2351 57.13 58.26

Do the writers even know the difference?

Just a heads up, some riddles might have changed slightly. For the Elegant Almond Table (at /way #2351 43.2 69.4), my clue was:
Across gentle falls. Ocean breeze meets the bounty. East end of the bridge.

Instead of:
Across gentle falls. Bridge broken, chains given way. Look to the east end.

Hello everyone!

So i did something so all of you don't have to.

There are only about 30ish decors you can find, but the quest giver has 100 quests to hunt.

I recently just finished all 100 in hopes there was some kind of hidden decor or maybe even a Achievement/FoS.

Alas... There is nothing.

Quest giver just stands there now and doesn't provide any new quest or even something new to say.

Hopefully blizzard will implement some kind of achievement or something in the future... but for now :(

I would like the
"From sagging rope bridge. Torches mark a steep descent. Search the water's edge."

to be closer to /way 70.29, 49.80

Elegant Almond Table

Across gentle falls.
Ocean breeze meets the bounty.
East end of the bridge.
/way 43.26 69.46

This one's riddle text is a little different than above, but points to same place.

Small Elegant End Table

Life stirs from dry soil.
Camp where fishers may take rest.
Fire warms the treasure.

/way #2351 58.67 69.49

Beside the campfire further on, not the torch on the road.

Because the wording on some of these comments and guide is a little confusing or incomplete I will try to clear up how these work. While this quest giver functions like a daily quest giver you probably noticed the ! is not blue, that is because these are not repeatable quests. He starts 50 different quests with the same name per neighborhood zone. Completion of these quests is saved at the account level not character level. You can grab one of the remaining quests he starts per day per character per neighborhood zone, meaning two if you have a house in both zones. Once you complete one of the quests you will not receive it again. Once you've completed all 50 he offers in a neighborhood zone he will no longer off quests in that zone

From sagging rope bridge. Torches mark a steep descent. Search the water's edge.

Actually at /way 70.30, 49.78

Your description of the location for the Horned Hanging Sconce is correct, but your coordinates are off just a bit.

The item is actually at /way #2351 62.03, 88.64
