We'll finally have the opportunity to soak some things if it becomes necessary! The combination of Astral Shift, Harden Skin, and Spirit Wolf reduces damage by 71.2%, and while that won't allow us to soak anything that requires an immunity we should be safe to soak anything below that (and there should be a couple of opportunities for us to do so.)

Strong burst AoE - So long as we have Stormfury & Stormkeeper this will be a strength of ours. Our Burst AoE isn't going anywhere.

Some measure of additional utility. With interrupts becoming very important again in Uldir, Wind Shear places us at the top of the table for casters when it comes to interrupts. Tremor Totem will see some use (though mostly as recovery for mistakes) as well.

We lose very little damage from movement! Yes. Really. While it takes us awhile to move from point A to point B, that Frost Shock is spammable and only a slight loss compared to Lightning Bolt means that while we aren't Beast Mastery Hunters, we don't lose much from moving.

Elemental Shaman Raiding Weaknesses in Uldir

Elemental is slow unless we stop casting entirely. For something like Imonar in Antorus, Ghost Wolf allowed us to move where we needed to go quite well. Barring a specific mechanic like that where we need to move and nobody can deal DPS, Elemental has no good tool to use to move from point A to point B. We may not lose much for moving, but we take a while to get anywhere.

Weak priority target swaps. With Elemental Blast & Icefury not worth taking, Elemental doesn't have an easy way to help burst down a priority target outside of a single Earth Shock cast. After that, we need to use a global with the relatively low-DPS Flame Shock cast to use Lava Burst on that target. Until Elemental Blast & Icefury receive some much-needed buffs, this will remain a weakness of ours.

Below average single-target DPS. This is a standard weakness for Elemental, and so it comes as no surprise that once again we're on the lower end of things for single-target DPS once more in Battle for Azeroth.

Hold cooldowns when Plasma Discharge is about to be cast, in case you're unlucky enough to be picked.

During Plasma Discharge, use Ghost Wolf to quickly move away from the raid, and slowly move back using instants such as Earth Shock & Lava Surge procs to get back into position afterwards.

Mythic Use Ghost Wolf when you have Hardened Arteries as it will negate the slow up to the point where you're rooted, and save Astral Shift to help soak Enlarged Heart with the tank!

Use instant cast spells to pre-position yourself for Wind Tunnel and Uldir Defensive Beams, but don't hesitate to move quickly into position with Earth Shock

Wind Shear is a great short-cd interrupt for Remnant of Corruption casts, and Capacitor Totem can be used as an AoE interrupt.

MOTHER takes 100% increased damage in the final room, and the encounter ends at 10%, so plan cooldowns accordingly.

Capacitor Totem, Liquid Magma Totem, and Earthquake can be cast through the defense grids currently, this may be a bug so watch for hotfixes!

Mythic Capacitor Totem is especially important for Resistant Bacterium or Viral Contagion interrupts as those adds can only be interrupted with stuns!

Make sure that Ascendance can be used during the last half of the bosses health due to Fetid Fernzy.

Use Stormkeeper & Liquid Magma Totem on pull, as they'll be back up in time for the first wave of adds.

Wind Shear, Capacitor Totem, & Hex can be used to interrupt Nerubian Voidweavers

If you soak Orb of Corruption at or below 35% to gain Corruptor's Pact you'll end up dying after the mind control. If you have Reincarnation available, you can use it and continue to dps!

Mythic You can combine Astral Shift or Harden Skin with a Healthstone or Healing Potion to run an Eye Beam or Roiling Deceit into Surging Darkness to avoid dropping them into the raid if they overlap. Note that this only works for 1 hit of surging Darkness, and it is extremely unlikely you'll live through 2 even with all available cooldowns.

Try to make sure you have your Elemental lined up with a Plague Amalgam spawn as that's when you'll get the greatest benefit from that cooldown

Stay in Ghost Wolf during the Liquefy phase to keep Spirit Wolf stacked as you have nothing to deal damage to regardless.

Mythic the fight revolves around managing Omega Vector. Use Astral Shift & Harden Skin to help manage the DoT when it's on you.

Align Stormkeeper & Liquid Magma Totem for Call of Blood adds, especially Crawgs

Get out of the raid with Dark Revelation, you can use Ghost Wolf/Spirit Wolf to reduce the damage taken while at max range/out of range.

Tremor Totem will remove the fear from Minions of Zul, but be careful as it will also remove Deathwish which should not be done prematurely.

If your tanks position the N'raqi Destoyers closer to the boss, you can use Chain Lightning to hit both of them.

Get out of the raid with Imminent Ruin.

Interrupt Mind Flay.

Stormkeeper can have some use if your raid struggles with Visions of Madness damage.

Ghost Wolf allows us to bypass movespeed restrictions, which makes us solid orb-runners though sadly we cannot solo them.

Try to time Ascendance with Reorigination Blast's 100% damage taken debuff.

Tremor Totem will remove the Gaze of G'huun fear.

Mythic Stormkeeper again may have use here depending on how your guild does with handling the Spawn of G'huun.
