Keep Holy Words on cooldown: Our Holy Words, Holy Word: Serenity and Holy Word: Sanctify, are our most powerful abilities and should be frequently used for maximum efficiency. If you know that predictable damage is incoming, especially single-target damage, you can pool Holy Words like Holy Word: Serenity to prepare to triage allies quickly, but you should not sit on 2 stacks of the Holy Words if you can help it.

Raid Healing with AoE or single-target: Holy has great balance across talents with competitive AoE and single-target builds at their disposal. Often, triage or "spot-healing" can be at a premium in progression raiding, as most Healer builds focus on even AoE healing. This capability offers an opportunity for Holy to provide crucial output to the most vulnerable allies.

Mythic+ Healing is flexible: The Ultimate Serenity talent lends a great deal of flexibility to Holy Priest in dungeons, allowing you to still cast Prayer of Healing to handle AoE healing while also giving you more Holy Word: Serenitys that also cleave your party members.

Well Blizzard has messed up again! Holy priests are in the mid range for heals but yet they got nerfed what were they thinking! OH right they weren't thinking that's the problem :(

This class is nothing compared with what it was when I decided to be priest... So sad. Every day a new nerf, less fun, less power, less abbilities... Discipline was my favourite and now I hate it. They are making now the same with the holy specialization

It's frustrating that WoWhead saw fit to push these "advanced class guides" in a news post, but when you go to one they make reference to a spell (like Body and Mind) in "What makes it special", and later mentions it was removed from the class.

It's not like this guide is so long and complicated that anyone who truly knows Holy wouldn't catch that. The loss of mobility options/the non-existence of them to begin with is a hallmark weakness of the play style.

Can we get people writing these guides who actually play Holy Priest and furthermore, actually write it like they enjoy the class? (Sidebar, this writer is a well known priest, who as of late almost exclusively plays Disc...)

Minor suggestion? I would request a more fleshed-out discussion of various racials. For example? I would argue that Mechagnome is one of the best races for Priests, since Int is their chief stat (*before Crit & Mastery*) and MGs have a stacking int passive that kills it in raids. And they also have a passive "cheat death" racial which can save you when things go wrong. Someone may not like playing that particular race for cosmetic reasons, but that doesn't at all invalidate them.

You have spells removed, and spells added, but no spells modified.

Like Body and Soul. used to give a speed boost from PWS, but now its PoM and Leap of Faith. Just a singular example, more are there.
