For all the alt-grinders out there. Here is the macro to signup with all roles for the event:

But be warned, Proto-drake renouvelé : armure d’amour most likely only have a HIGH chance to drop from first Boîte en forme de cœur looting of the day on the account. And then an abysmal chance on additional boxes. That seem to be the trend in these events. So maybe an idea to wait a bit with grinding it on your whole alt-army until we have confirmed 2nd hand drops.

So the golden question is.... Do we have a chance to get this on the FIRST kill of the day or can any alt have a chance at it? I've looked around and people are saying both... so I'm not sure which is true. Do I waste time running through my army of alts to try to get this, or do I just kill it once a day on my main? I wish Blizzard would TELL US... that would be helpful information!

Does anyone know if this drops for lower level toons at all? I'm currently out of game time, and playing my Free Trial lvl 20s in the interim until I can afford more game time. But I do have toons that are lvl 70 and have dragon riding, just can't access them atm.

this was a very pleasant surprise for me when it dropped however I have the Raszageth skin; it was bad enough already that the Fryakk skin also only works for the Proto-drake. Now I have to make a choice with this one.

I can't speak on increased or lowered drop rates, but I can confirm that this can drop from an alt. I just received it on my 4th character run of the day.

Why would blizz even make this an extremely low drop rate. It's simply a cosmetic. I could understand mounts & such. But seriously a cosmetic? smh It's bad enough that the LK mount or Ashes are basically nonexistent.

After spending last year running 60 alts everyday for the 2 week period (Love is in the Air Festival) in the effort to get X-45 Heartbreaker (Love Rocket) I got my heart broken as it did not drop.
This year I have taken a new approach and running 5 alts per day for the 2 week period. Why you may ask?
Well I created 5 accounts now with the hope that I get 5 Heart-Shaped Boxes with the increased drop rate for the mount when I solo run The Crown Chemical Co.
The first box of the day has an increased drop rate apparently but not the second box on the next run on your next alt.
Others have stated that it won't work and only 1 of the Heart-Shaped Boxes will be an increased drop rate being the first one I open out of the 5 alts.
After doing my solo run and opening the 5 Heart-Shaped Boxes, I got 2 x Renewed Proto-Drake: Love Armor in separate boxes.
I believe now that all 5 Heart-Shaped Boxes even on other accounts connected to your WoW account have an increased drop rate.
Please pray for Love Rocket drop. Hope this helps others. (Got Love Rocket 🚀)

I haven't seen this on anybody, nor have I seen it drop for any other members in my dungeon groups. I've got 14 alts on my main account over 60 and 5 on my second account, and the drop rate seems to be just utterly abysmal by all accounts. This armor shouldn't be something that's practically nonexistent, especially since it's for a dragonriding drake and that particular feature will be mainstreamed into "dynamic flight" in a few months when the prepatch for the next xpac drops. Blizzard, is it REALLY that hard to implement a drop chance that increases exponentially for something like this due to the short timeframe of the event and expansion-specificity of it? As someone who has tried to get the Big Love Rocket since 2008 (and no, I'm not going to call it by the stupid name that they renamed it, there was nothing wrong with "Big Love Rocket") and has never gotten it despite trying every single year on multiple characters, I can still kind of understand why the chance for it to drop doesn't increase after multiple attempts, but for something like this armor it's a different story entirely.

It is absolutely asinine and INSANE that running 22 A L T S a day in this dungeon for the box has not provided the saddle yet. The drop rate on this must be more than abysmal because I'm at 154 attempts today and have yet to see it.

Why make something as simple as a saddle that you cannot even use with full transformations on the proto drake a .5% drop? Like what is the point? I have a bad feeling this saddle is literally Arfus 2.0 for me personally and I will not be getting it after 400+ attempts comes around.

27 attempts x 7 = 189 total. No manuscript, no rocket.
Have seen 4 times people looted manuscript.
3 guildmate got it from first 1-5 attempts.

Had this drop a few days ago and I am thoroughly disappointed. Not only is it only useable on a dragon I don't like, it doesn't even have a drop rate on WoWHead associated with it and it doesn't quite "pop" like I had hoped (since fixed and has drop rate). Everyone says this is rare and that they don't see people using it, but it might be because it is so limited on which mount can use it.

Hope this gets moved to all winged mounts for "Dynamic Flight" in War Within.
Edit: I only run one character through every day, so I cannot say how it works for alts, as some posters are saying.

starting to think its some bug for having mount alrdy like the invoq toy incident or its just as rare as the mount after 1st kill of day (1 in 3,333) or ppl who claimed to loot it post first daily kill either didnt loot the box the prev day or simply lying. seeing alot of other comments of ppl doing 100s going into 1000 attempts.

Over 500 kills so far. No drops. However very profittable. 40 love tokens buys the new pet which is selling for 10k on my realm. If you do this on 100 characters everyday, you will have over 80 tokens by the time this event finishes if you do it everyday. If you sell these pets (which will go up in profit due to their rarity), that is over 2 milion gold profit. This is possibly one of the best money making ways in the game at the moment.

EDIT: Now up to 900 kills. No drops. This thing is rarer then the mount! crazy!

I just don't understand blizzard's mentality with these new holiday drakewatcher manuscripts. Why make this event so rng based? I understand with the holiday mounts but this is just an expansion feature. I just hope that maybe blizzard just throws us a bone and make this a bigger drop chance like they did the winter veil one. I've been farming this on 25 alts and leveling a new alt almost every day. I really want to enjoy these events and mostly am with the new toys and mounts but this rng drop does sour it.

Sharing my experience farming the love rocket this year: 50 alts a day with 2 WOW accounts (so 2 alts per run).

Today i got this armor in the first run of the day in my second account so the theory of boosted chances with other WOW accounts might be correct. I opened the bag in my first account and nothing, opened at second account and got the love armor.

Chances seems abysmal after the first run, something equivalent to the rocket chance considering a lot of reports of people farming with multple alts a day without seeing a drop.

After 9 years farming the rocket blizzard included that patetic armor with even lower chance to drop than rocket. So what happens? It drops to me on 3rd try of they day.
Im so pissed man, i just want the rocket, considering that i already droped a extremely low drop item on this year i feel like i will never drop rocket after this. TY blizzard for that &*!@ that i will never use in my life :)

Y'know, I'm starting to wonder if this is potentially bugged or not. I legitimately haven't seen this drop for a single player, on any of the 12 characters I've ran daily since the start of the event, but I've somehow seen the mount drop for someone else (grats to them). That's pretty abysmal.

And yes, I'm aware that this is indeed dropping for people and that those people usually got it on their first kill of the day - but that doesn't necessarily mean everything's working correctly for everyone.

Well there are plenty of similiar comments to the one I am about to drop - but perhaps only if we all speak - they will listen?

So, we already had a mystical rocket that supposedly had boosted drop chance (not really?), but here we are 2nd year so many people not getting it at all, after running 50 alts per day.
Now we have 2nd item from this event, so let's say you get the rocket - we still have an incentive to keep going with 50-60 alts per day? Like... Really ?

Edit: Another year gone, another one in the drain...... oh, well. So much time wasted and nothing. Delightful.

(2024) I am up to around 374 attempts so far, I run my two accounts together for the first kill of the day since its a bit unknown if other accounts will have the supposed increased drop rate first chance box if ran solo from other account, I'm yet to see anyone get this yet in any groups I've been in. I do have a few friends who got it on the first day or two but no one else so far of my friends farming with their alt armies have seen it. Brewfest and Hallows Eve both took me running all 34 alts every day up til the final last day to get those harnesses. I hoped after winter veils feeling like a reasonable drop rate they had made a change for the better, got to enjoy my festive reindeer dragon throughout the winter veil season which was a lot of fun. Wish the harness would've been for love tokens or the 50k gold like others, at least we would've all kept our sanity while trying to chase this seemingly unobtainable dream. Good luck to all those like me who have yet to get their mount harness, I hope we all get it before the end at the very least.

I'll update as the days.. at this point years.. pass and 3+hrs of runs are done each day.

(2024) Final day of love is in the air - kill count - 510 - No harness this year for me..
(2025) And we are back for more suffering, hello again love is in the air! I have even more alts this year.
2/3/25 to 2/17/25 - 885 attempts, no mount harness yet again this year. Total from this year and last year added up - 1395 attempts in total between 2 years.
2/14/26 - After many more attempts on alts, I honestly lost count with having more alts w remix additions, I finally have the love armor!

why does blizzard punish us? these holidays are meant to be fun and enjoyable. this is not enjoyable. It's not hard to simply add this item to the vendor. Even for 50,000g I wouldn't complain!

I've been running 12 characters every day and have never seen anyone loot this item. I've seen numerous Heartbreaker toys and 2 Big Love Rockets, but not a single one of these armors. Here's to hoping that Blizzard buffs the droprate or something, because this is looking pretty hopeless.

I think this one is the rarest out of all of the holiday armors, by a mile. I remember seeing the Hallow's End, Brewfest, and Winter Veil armors drop for people numerous times. But not this one.

so i just got this on my maybe 10th run this season. but not the rocket i tried for literally every year, every day on 5-8 characters every day. and i get this on 10 runs when it has a similar drop rate.... not the rocket ive coveted for a decade or whatever now. i get this that goes on a mount i dont use because i dont like giant mounts that cant get through doorways. first world problems i know. and i thought these were a common drop when i got it. i got the hallows even one too. and i think xmas one with only a couple attempts on those as i have most everything else i wanted already so just didnt do things repeatedly this year like so many years past. RNG truly is a random thing. Good luck to everyone else hoping for this. if my unlucky ass got it then everyone else should have hope too.

Not complaining about this vicious cycle; there IS always next year, but that's if the game's worth keeping the subscription up for. Desires change and I find myself valuing what time I have left over what this currently is and which otherwise could have been a chain-quest for the new Love is In The Air holiday makeover, and the armor reward at the end of it. The cycle begins anew: 50K gold, low RNG droprate drip-feed, or a chain-quest to reward you and appreciate you for still playing the game. I know which one I would PREFER, but I have no choice in the matter. WHY make this decorative armor the SAME droprate (0.06) as the ROCKET itself when the dragon mount it (the armor) covers is FREE in the expansion? THAT'S a genuine complaint.

Congratulations on those who got the drop; you won't have to wait for next year!

Last day, played the event every single day, no manuscript, no love rocket. At this point i think the loot is just bugged for some accounts similar to the lava thing toy on the dragon island was bugged for month for a lot of players. But hey, what can you expect from such a small company. Gotta love the RNG in a 2 week window frame. I am so mad right now.

The thing that really frustrates me is that it really feels like they just don't listen to player feedback about these kinds of things at all. Their idea of bad luck protection is entirely terrible, because its STILL rng-based. Why not make it expensive on the holiday vendor (i.e. 400 love tokens)? People would be able to get it during the event as long as they did the dailies and dungeon runs, and hey, if those same people got unlucky and never got the drop then AT LEAST they have an option.

Welp, last day of the event, ran 15 characters through every single day for a total 210 attempts at getting this manuscript, and nothing. I got 3 heartbreaker toys and god knows how many fumigator masks and roses, but no manuscript for a mount that is going to become obsolete in a few months.

I do not understand their logic on this. Some manuscripts they put on a vendor with a 50,000g buy out. Others seem to have a better drop rate. Then this one,...such a low drop rate. Why?
For something like a manuscript like others have said - a) give it a better drop rate or b) put it on the vendor for 400 tokens. Or here's an idea,..both? If you got to the end of the event and had no success getting it,..save the tokens during and buy it. If you were lucky enough to have it drop,...then you have tokens to use for other things. Win Win. People are happy.

Across all the alts (about 40+) I have never once seen it drop. Not once. Tried to do most alts every day,...but sometimes real life has to take a priority. Can't spend all day running alts then have it reset and repeat again.

With all the tokens I ended up collecting I think I bought about 9 of the 100 token toy that Bind on Use. About 15-20 pets at 40 tokens each. Plus all the things I sold or threw away I already had.

Purchased all the mounts, the toys, the pets, the appearances, etc. Spent all the tokens and once it resets tomorrow, will lose about 1000 tokens across all alts (Because most are sitting below 40 to buy other things).

It really is a bit of a "slap in the face" for the players when Blizzard do this. Yes, I know we don't have to do it. Yes, I know we don't "need it"...but being a collector - it's fun to have these things.
I just think it would be nicer if our time was a little more respected.

I'm not saying "hey we deserve it all" easily. I'd be happy working away to get 400-500 tokens on one character to buy it at the end. Happy to put in the time. But just a random chance over a small event time period is just a bit rough.

I am conviced this does not drop for people who have a specific other manuscript ( or multiple ) because they share an ID or something stupid as that. had that bug with velocidrake on DoTI and some ZC rares before. Ofc blizzard will deny that unless 1000+ people report it, and will prob fix it next year at best.

I ran the Love is in the Air dungeon everyday on all 56 characters I have... a total of 784 runs... and the "Renewed Proto-Drake: Love Armor" never dropped... so it looks like this will be a yearly grind just like the Big Love Rocket was.. took me 13 YEARS to finally get that damn thing... ugh... hope it doesn't take another 13 to get the Love Armor... but as for this year? No luck! Here's to hoping it drops for me next year...

So,.. this supposedly has the same drop rate as the Heartbreaker? The thing I've tried for on every day of the event with multiple characters for the last 13 years? And on the first year this thing is available I get it on the second day? I call bullsh!t! I would have rather gotten the Heartbreaker for sure. I don't even really care for the Proto-Drake. The Highland is my fav because it looks all around what I would expect a dragon to look like, and it starts out in my favorite color, blue. These holiday armor sets should be able to be used on all the drake types so you can rock it out on whichever is your favorite. One script, for all dragons. Period. I was stoked when I got the Christmas armor for the Highland. Just wish I could use this one on it too. Fail Blizzard! Fail. Can I trade this in for the Heartbreaker? lolz

1500 attempts this year. Through out all those runs, I have seen 0 people get this item. I suspect the drop rate is bugged. I bet this is a 1% drop chance on the first box of the day but a 0.1% drop chance after that. I am surprised Blizzard did not address this considering this event only runs for 2 weeks and the item will not be in demand next expansion because everyone can use other mounts in the war within. So I don't understand the insane drop chance. Also in game events should be fun. This event was not. Winters veil was not. Hallows end was not, due to these items and their crazy drop chances. Poor form Blizzard.

Confirming that you can receive BOTH the Love Rocket and the Love Armor. Rocket dropped for me first run of the day last Thursday (Feb 15) and the Love Armor dropped for me first run of the day today (Feb 19).

Well, I HAD all dragon glyphs except for the gladiator ones until Love's in the Air. This bad luck protection for the first of the day almost never gave me any luck at all, since I finally got Heartbreaker after over 8k tries on my 39/56 alt of the last tuesday. Yeah... I got it with a 0.03% chance, hahaha! I won't complain because of the Rocket, but it's sad that I MAYBE will only complete it next year!

So, as at the end of the first revamped event in 2024, Wowhead has recorded (from those who contribute to their database via the Wowhead Client app) 631 drops of Proto-drake renouvelé : armure d’amour from 1,052,354 Boîte en forme de cœur looted.

An overall 0.06% drop rate.

This is almost the same as the Brise-cœur X-45 which had 626 drops out of 1,052,354 Boîte en forme de cœur (bearing in mind that some people already have the mount, and that it does not drop for anyone below level 60).

The 89,375 figure comes from this comment, which indicated Wowhead recorded 962,979 opens of Boîte en forme de cœur from years past through Love is in the Air 2023. At the time of this writing (post-event 2024), Wowhead has recorded 1,052,354 box opens and 631 Love Armor drops. Therefore during Love is in the Air 2024, Wowhead recorded 1,052,354 - 962,979 = 89,375 box opens. (Since Love Armor is new in 2024, we ignore all prior box opens).

*HOWEVER, it needs to be emphasized that 0.71% is a rough estimate only for two reasons:

If Love Armor has an increased drop rate on the first attempt of the day, like Brise-cœur X-45, the first-daily drop rate could be much higher than 0.71%.
Assuming Love Armor behaves like other drakewatcher manuscripts, it will not drop for players that already have it. But Wowhead records the box open all the same. This skews the estimated drop rate slightly lower than the "real" drop rate.

Without more information, it's practically impossible to get a more accurate estimate.

But... we can still compare the drop rates of Love Armor and the X-45 mount using the figures from that same comment (the one linked above). Wowhead recorded 412 drops of the mount prior to 2024, and that rose to 626 in 2024. 626 - 412 = 214 mount drops in 2024.

Therefore the estimated drop rate for Brise-cœur X-45 is: 214 / 89,375 = 0.24%, vs 0.71% for Love Armor during the same period (2024).

If Love Armor has a higher drop rate on the first box open of the day like the X-45 (may or may not be true), then Love Armor is about ~3x more likely to drop than the X-45.

I received this item, used it, went to the Rostrum and clicked on Renewed Proto Drake. I do not see this armor available for my drake. -_-

Coming back to add it is NOT a full body transformation, it is under the body armor section.

Legacy drops, such as the Brise-cœur X-45, have a much higher chance to drop on your first attempt of the day (WoW account-wide). There is a very small chance to receive legacy drops on subsequent attempts made the same day, for players who enjoy running the content on multiple characters.

New drops, such as the Balai de sorcière de l’amour, can only drop on your first attempt of the day (WoW account-wide), and will see an increasing chance to drop with each new day that a first attempt is completed.

This official answer doesn't mention Proto-drake renouvelé : armure d’amour specifically. However, it might be safe to assume that it counts as a new drop, meaning it can only drop on your first attempt.

I really hate the droprate on this item. Why did the WoW devs make this one so stupidly rare during a 2-week yearly event? NO other manuscript in the game is nearly as rare as this one is, not even the raid drop ones. IDK if this one actually has a 1% droprate or not, but even if it was as 'high' as 2% that's still stupidly rare for something only available for 2 weeks.

I literally have 60 level 80's that I run these holiday bosses on... I am doing 60 runs every day of the event and this Renewed Proto-Drake: Love Armor NEVER drops! I'm so sick of hearing Blizzard say "First drop of the day has an increased chance" OH BS! It does not. I'm also starting to think this armor doesn't exist!

If anyone has some doubts on wether this can drop or not for one of your characters, I leave my experience as of year 2025:

I'm a player from Europe but have an US starter account in attached to my Battle.net account
This WoW account has never had a subscription or game license attached
On this account I have 2 characters: a level 17 warlock and another level 7 one
The level 7 character can't even queue but I did 2 tries with the level 17 one: one on a random day during the event, and another on the very last day
I got Proto-drake renouvelé : armure d’amour on the 2nd try
I don't even have the Proto-drake renouvelé mount

Of course, I didn't get it to drop for my European account despite the 100+ daily kills, but I think is safe to assume that there are no retrictions of any kind for this item to drop.

It seems that this Manuscript is Bugged for some Accounts like other was in Dragonflight from Rarmob drops, so you will never get it as the game thinks you already have it. Please help us and open Bug Reports with somthing like this:

"The Love is in the Air Manuscript for Protodrake cannot drop for some Accounts because they are already flagged as true and so you will never have a chance to get it. Please look into it. Thank you!"

Looks like Blizzard has finally fixed this now for those who were bugged, seen a lot of drops in last couple hours from people that were only missing this one

I got this exactly the day after i obtained the rocket mount. At 17-02-2026 the rocket dropped for me on one of my alts. Today, the 17th i decided to try the event once more and the manuscript dropped. Not sure if its a direct result thanks to the hotfix or i was lucky, however, it seems i have everything from the love is in the air event now. Good luck on getting this!
