If you have the two removed reputations (Shen'dralar and Zandalari Tribe) at exalted, then those will count too and you will be able to get the Coursier purecœur mount faster.

That being said those two reputations are trivial, and more factions will be on their way to help players reach the 100 réputations exaltées achievement.

Reputation earned by killing rares and looting treasures in Tanaan Jungle for Influence invisible.

Traquesabres

The treacherous wilds of Tanaan Jungle have attracted the craftiest hunters from both Azeroth and Draenor. To defeat the beasts of Tanaan, one must become a beast.

Quartermaster: Z’tenga le Marcheur, Fang'rila, Tanaan Jungle.

Rewardsinclude two mounts (Broche-tripes sauvage and Sanglier infernal hirsute) and the pet Bébé tigre sauvage.

Reputation earned by killing elite and rare Saberon in Fang'rila, as well as daily quests like Toutes griffes dehors / Toutes griffes dehors.

Parias arakkoa

Players earn reputation by questing and killing level 100 mobs in Flèches d’Arak.

In addition to the rewards mentioned at the top of this section, players can get the slowfall item Ailes des parias and the archaeology items Magnétite d'archéologue de Draenor and Carte d'archéologue de Draenor. Unlike other reputations, the title and follower is unlocked when completing Mantelet du roi-serre.

Conseil des exarques/Orcs loups-de-givre

Players can easily get to Revered by completing quests in Vallée d’Ombrelune (Alliance) and Crête de Givrefeu (Horde).

Additional reputation can be earned by killing mobs in level 100 areas in Vallée d’Ombrelune (Alliance) and Crête de Givrefeu (Horde).

In addition to the rewards mentioned at the top of this section, the Alliance get the hearth Relique de Karabor and vanity item Bulle temporelle permanente, while the Horde get the hearth Relique de Flèchelame and the toy Essence de givre permanente.

Orcs du Crâne-Ricanant/Défense sha’tari

With a Comptoir Niveau 2, you now gain reputation by killing mobs in level 100 areas in Talador (Alliance) or Gorgrond (Horde).

In addition to the rewards mentioned at the top of this section, the Alliance have the transmog set and two toys Cristal d'évacuation animique and Médaillon du défenseur sha'tari. The Horde have transmog helms like Visage doré du Crâne-Ricanant, the toy Totem à chatouilles, and Crâne rigolo.

Société de Conservation de Gentepression

The Steamwheedle Preservation Society is a tongue-in-cheek faction in Warlords of Draenor that seeks to liberate relics from the ogres of Nagrand with the "noble" intention of selling them to the highest bidder.

Reputation with this faction is slightly less straightforward than the other Warlords factions. It's not simply killing mobs for reputation gains.

Gaining reputation is done primarily through handing in dropped items from mobs in northern Nagrand as well as items found in chests throughout the zone.

Named elite mobs drop items worth a higher amount of reputation.

These quest items are BoA, so you can send them to an alt who wants reputation. In addition the Garrison mission Une commission pour la SCG also rewards a Relique de Cognefort, but this is a rare mission.

In addition to the rewards mentioned at the top of this section, Société de Conservation de Gentepression is notable because it has two battle pets instead of one, as well as Patate chaude gobeline.

Mists of PandariaAstres vénérables

The August Celestials defend Pandaria's temples from the Sha. Each day, they'll send you to one of four temples to complete a short series of daily quests.

The most notable daily hub is the Cradle of Chi-Ji, the birthplace of the Red Crane, the Southern Celestial. It is currently where young Pandaren initiates train under Thélonius. What starts off as a playful battle with initiate Ellia Crin de Corbeau turns into something much darker, as she is unhealthily obsessed with winning and fights out of despair. Completing this specific questline rewards Champion de Chi Ji.

Rewards include epic bracers, gloves, and boots as well as Rênes de serpent-nuage vénérable fulminant, Tabard des Astres vénérables and Enchanting formulae.

Hitting Exalted grants Les Astres vénérables and also counts towards Ambassadeur des Pandarens.

Hameçonneurs

The Anglers are all about fishing, with numerous daily quests that send you out into the world to fish.

You get three daily quests per day from the questgivers, skilled fishermen of all races. There is also a quest chain in Dread Wastes which awards reputation.

Rewards include Rênes de trotteur aquatique azur which walks on water, the battle pet Minuscule poisson rouge, items that enhance fishing skill like Canne à pêche du dragon and Lance rohart aiguisée, and rafts (Bloc de glace branlant de Bipsi, Radeau de pêche des Hameçonneurs).

In addition, Nat Pagle has a friendship meter. Nat's friendship increases by turning in one of these three rare fish: Gourami tigre volant, Pieuvre caméléon, Poisson-hérisson alpha. There are several things you can get by raising your "friendship" with him: Chapeau de Nat as his Best Friend, and Journal de pêche de Nat. You can use 12 of these books to level to 600 Fishing on an alt, but they cost each.

Hitting Exalted grants Les Hameçonneurs and also counts towards Ambassadeur des Pandarens.

Prince noir

As of Legion patch 7.3.5, the only way to get reputation with this faction is to defeat a Celestial in Timeless Isle every week.

Lotus doré

Golden Lotus investigates the Mogu threat in Vale of Eternal Blossoms and sadly was hit hard by Garrosh's actions in Patch 5.4.

To begin questing with Lotus doré, you'll need to prove yourself to the Pandaren at the Temple of the White Tiger in Sommet de Kun-Lai.

Many daily quests have been removed in 5.4. Instead, reputation is primarily earned from killing mobs in Val de l’Éternel printemps and doing a handful of daily quests at the Setting Sun Garrison hub.

Opening chests hidden around the zone can yield Relique de Guo-Lai and Relique du roi-tonnerre which permanently increase your reputation.

Rewards include three mounts (Rênes de grue de monte azur, Rênes de grue de monte régalienne, Rênes de grue de monte dorée), Tailoring and Leatherworking patterns for leg enhancements, and a vanity tabard Tabard du Lotus doré.

Hitting Exalted grants Le Lotus doré and also counts towards Ambassadeur des Pandarens.

Offensive du Kirin Tor/Assaut des Saccage-Soleil

Players can do a variety of dailies on the Île du Tonnerre, which is a phased questing hub, and learn why the Alliance and Horde are fighting the Mogu and Zandalari.

Depending on what stage your character is on, you will get roughly 2000 reputation from PvE quests, and 1250 reputation from PvP quests. Getting to Exalted is pretty easy, especially with Grand Commendations (Grande recommandation de l'offensive du Kirin Tor/Grande recommandation de l'assaut des Saccage-Soleil).

Players can purchase mounts: Rênes de navrecorne primordial doré / Rênes de navrecorne primordial cramoisi, as well as tabards, Tabard de l'offensive du Kirin Tor and Tabard de l'assaut des Saccage-Soleil. These tabards originally had placeholder models but now have unique artwork.

Players can also purchase various items that can aid them in their Troves of the Treasure King speed runs, like Un banal caillou.

Klaxxi

Klaxxi are a faction in Dread Wastes that are sworn to protect the ideals of the Mantid Empire, even at the cost of killing their ruler.

To grind rep with Klaxxi, you'll have to do a long questline in Terres de l’Angoisse. This should get you to Honored, where there are at least 6 quests available from the Klaxxi Elders you freed.

At Revered, you free two more Elders, who give you additional daily quests. After you free a Klaxxi elder, you can request Enhancements and Augments from them, like Malik l’Indemne granting Mantide de fer. Hidden quests are also sometimes available during specific daily phases, such as Noyau de kyparite massif from Le noyau de Kypa’rak.

Players can purchase ilvl 489 necks, pants, and belts and Blacksmithing recipes, as well as vanity-themed items like Rênes de scorpion ambre, a Horde-style scorpion mount, and a series of ilvl 463 weapons with distinctive amber-dipped looks for transmog.

At Exalted, you can get an epic ilvl 489 ring from completing L'ombre de l'empire. You must ensure you've completed Conservés dans l’ambre before this quest will appear to you, even if Exalted. Patch 5.1 adds a new achievement, Somnifuge, which rewards the title <the Wakener>. Exalted also counts towards Ambassadeur des Pandarens.

Chroniqueurs

As the keepers of Pandaren culture,The Lorewalkers go hand-in-hand with the spirit of Archaeology. The unusual reputation grind fits the nature of these cultural librarians, and reputation rewards enhance this profession.

Each monument in Pandaria is tied to an achievement. Upon visiting all the monuments for an achievement, you will be mailed a scroll that begins a quest. Both completing the achievement and turning in the scroll to Lorewalker Cho will give reputation. Turning in all the scrolls will net you Exalted.

When you turn the scroll in, Lorewalker Cho will automatically reenact a story for you that sheds light on Pandaren lore. You can hear these stories again anytime by talking to Lorewalker Cho.

Opération Bouclier/Offensive Domination

These factions were added in 5.1, when the Alliance and Horde landed on the shores of Pandaria to continue their escalating conflict.

Players gain reputation through daily quests encouraging World PvP, as well as a epic questline involving many faction leaders. There are four possible quest hubs you can get sent to, and six contested areas players can capture for buffs.

There are four possible daily quest hubs you will be sent to: you can get 900 reputation a day before reputation bonuses are taken into effect. You can also do an additional Beastmaster group quest for +200 reputation.

If you want to ride any of the fancy new cloud serpent mounts in Mists, you'll need to get exalted with this faction.

Gaining reputation is pretty fun: it's a mix of Aile-du-Néant and Éleveurs de sabres-d'hiver. You'll start off with a cloud serpent egg and raise the hatched serpent to maturity, doing daily quest that involve competitive races along the way. You can also turn in eggs for additional reputation: En onyx véritable.

At Exalted, you'll get the serpent you raised to maturity: Rênes de serpent-nuage de jade, Rênes de serpent-nuage azur, Rênes de serpent-nuage doré.Players also automatically learn and are now eligible to train the cloud serpent critters in the zone as battle pets.

Jewelcrafters may also find this faction useful as reputation is needed to purchase patterns for the vanity panther mounts, like Dessin : Panthère d'onyx ornée de joyaux

These factions offer a handful of quests in The Jade Forest--you'll hit Exalted automatically doing them.

Completing the quest series rewards the battle pet Bubulle.

Empereur Shaohao

Empereur Shaohao is a new faction on the Île du Temps figé. There are no "mandatory" epics to grind out for this reputation--it's all about killing things on the Île du Temps figé for vanity loot.

The main reward is the gorgeous mount Rênes de serpent-nuage céleste doré, but there are other vanity items like the useful trinket Artéfact perdu dans le temps, Celestial Defender disguise Médaillon du défenseur céleste, and battle pet Porc-épique harmonieux.

The Shado-Pan protect Pandaria from the imprisoned Sha--no small task. They are found wearing their distinctive navy-and-red armor throughout the borders of Pandaria in Kun-Lai Summit and Townlong Steppes.

The Shado-Pan daily hub is located in western Townlong Steppes. Daily quests are selected from three sets of quest hubs, which all give +250 rep, except for the final quest which is 350 rep.

With each hub comes a special buff as well as a choice of three companions that will help DPS. When first starting out, players can "recruit" more companions by defeating them in combat, such as L’Arène des combattants : le maître des faucons Nurong.

There is a meta-achievement for completing Shado-Pan dailies in a bunch of ways, Le maître-pandashan, which rewards the title Shado-Master. Exalted also grants Pandashan and counts towards Ambassadeur des Pandarens.

There are many vanity rewards: Siberian tiger mounts (Rênes de tigre de monte pandashan bleu, Rênes de tigre de monte pandashan vert, Rênes de tigre de monte pandashan rouge), the tabard Tabard des Pandashan, breakable boards (Pile de bambou, Tas de blocs de pierre, Tas de planches de bois), a vanity trinket Fusil-dragon pandashan, a transmog hat Réplique du heaume pandashan and three useful weapon enchants (Formule : Enchantement d'arme (Danse d'acier), Formule : Enchantement d'arme (Esprit de jade), Formule : Enchantement d'arme (Mélodie de la rivière).)

This reputation is tied to Trône du tonnerre. You will get the bulk of your reputation from running Trône du tonnerre and getting reputation from trash and bosses. There are a few quests you can do, as well as obtaining several Insigne de l'assaut des Pandashan per week.

The Tillers have three main components:
Farming: how to plant, grow, and maintain crops, as well as how to expand a farm.

Tillers Union: the main questline in which the player wins union votes from Halfhill residents, daily quests, and Tillers reputation rewards.

Friendship: NPCs have their own "friendship" bars--becoming their "Best Friend" allows you to unlock additional rewards for your farm.

A subset of the Cercle cénarien directly battling Ragnaros' armies in Terres de Feu, one gains rep with the Vengeurs d’Hyjal solely through killing trash and bosses. Most of the trash stops giving rep after 5999/6000 Friendly, but several challenging mobs continue to do so.

The Vengeurs d’Hyjal grant epic capes at Friendly, belts at Honored, trinkets at Revered, and rings at Exalted. Players exalted gain Les Vengeurs d’Hyjal and the title "<Name>, Avenger of Hyjal."

Gardiens de Baradin/Poing de Hurlenfer

These factions, groups of jailers, battle for control of Tol Barad, a strategic island with valuable resources.

The NPCs joke that their orders change every day at 3 am, a reference to their large number of possible daily quests. Most players can do six dailies on Péninsule de Tol Barad and up to nine dailies (if lucky) in Tol Barad for reputation. (However, if your server resets dailies at 4 am, you can check back at 3 am to see if several new quests are available on the Peninsula.) After each win, three dailies will remain constant while the other three can (but not always) change to focus on a different prison block. Tol Barad wins and commendations also award reputation. There is a tabard, Tabard des Gardiens de Baradin, but it does not grant reputation.

The quartermasters sell a variety of PvP enchants, raiding trinkets, and vanity items: Mouette de Rouillemont, Projecteur de Tol Barad, Rênes de palefroi spectral, Miroir d'images brisées are several notable purchases. Exalted also awards Les Gardiens de Baradin/Le Poing de Hurlenfer.

Clan Gueule-de-dragon/Clan Marteau-Hardi

The Clan Gueule-de-dragon, formerly the cruel enslavers of Alexstrasza, were recruited to assist the Horde in Cataclysm by Warchief Garrosh. The Clan Marteau-Hardi, a reclusive Dwarvish clan, has re-entered nain politics since the Council of the Three Hammers.

Players gain reputation through wearing Tabard du clan Gueule-de-dragon/Tabard du clan des Marteaux-hardis in level 85 dungeons, doing lengthy questlines in Hautes-terres du Crépuscule, and a series of dailies. The questlines will not grant that much honor (roughly to the start of Honored), so this is a reputation you want to wear a tabard for early-on.

The quartermasters sell several epics and formerly sold a strength helm enchant. Players who do daily quests will eventually obtain Tour de garde gueule-de-dragon/Tour de garde marteau-hardi. Exalted also grants players Clan des Marteaux-hardis/Clan Gueule-de-dragon.

Gardiens d'Hyjal

The Gardiens d'Hyjal fight to preserve Mont Hyjal and the five Ancients, following both the leadership of the Les druides de la Serre and the Gardienne de l'ombres.

Players can begin to earn reputation with the Gardiens d'Hyjal while leveling to 85--all quests in Hyjal grant reputation.

If you have completed everything up to Le miracle d'Aessina, the Front du Magma unlocks and numerous new daily quests are obtainable to push you to Exalted. In addition, Tabard des Gardiens d'Hyjal, available at Friendly, grants reputation in level 85 dungeons.

Exalted also grants players Les gardiens d'Hyjal.

Ramkahen

The Ramkahen are one of the surviving Tol'vir tribes living in Uldum; the Orsis tribe was nearly wiped out by Aile de mort, while the Neferset tribe supported Aile de mort in return for immortality.

Most of the quests in Uldum grant Ramkahen reputation and require level 83 for a minimum; you can also do two dailies, Chapardeurs and Le feu du ciel. You can also buy Tabard de Ramkahen at Friendly with Blacksmith Abasi to gain reputations in level 85 dungeons.

The quartermaster sells several epics and formerly sold an agility helm enchant. The quartermaster also sells Rênes de dromadaire brun and Rênes de dromadaire fauve which grant the achievement Il a une bosse ou deux ?. Exalted players also obtain Ramkahen.

Cercle terrestre

Cercle terrestre is a group of shamans who aim to restore the balance of the elements. They maintain good relations with Thrall and the Cercle cénarien, welcoming shamans of all races to their ranks.

Players gain reputation with Cercle terrestre through questing in Vash'jir, Deepholm, Twilight Highlands, and the 4.2 Thrall chain, as well as via Tabard du Cercle terrestre sold from Approvisionneur Arok in The Shimmering Flats.

The quartermaster sells several epics and formerly sold a tank helm enchant. Exalted also grants the player Le Cercle terrestre.

Therazane

Named after the powerful elemental Therazane, this faction initially starts off hostile to all adventurers in Le Tréfonds. As the quest line progresses, Therazane looks more favorably upon the Earthen Ring shamans, eventually forming a peaceful co-existence after they save the World Pillar.

Players gain reputation with Therazane in three ways: questing through Le Tréfonds, numerous dailies once the entire zone is unlocked, and Tabard de Therazane that grants reputation in level 85 dungeons. Since there are so many daily quests, it's generally wise to save this tabard for last. The quartermaster and the dailies can be found in northeastern Le Tréfonds.

Pet collectors will want to do Therazane dailies as well for Gravillon, while achievement collectors will find several achievements related to the dailies: La lignée de Glop, Fongiphobie, Frénésie fongique, Ma propre mère des couvées. Exalted with Therazane grants Therazane.

So by the time you are Exalted with two sub-factions, you will hit Exalted with the Avant-garde de l'Alliance. You can gain reputation with the other factions through questing or doing level 80 dungeons without a tabard.

Most of the rewards are leveling gear, but of notable interest are Schéma : Bécane de mekgénieur and Plans : Plaque en titane.

Croisade d'argent

The Croisade d'argent is an alliance between the Aube d'argent and Knights of the Silver Hand in an attempt to defeat Le roi-liche. Their bases are located in Désolation des dragons, Zul’Drak, and Couronne de glace.

Players can complete numerous quests in Maleterres de l’Ouest, Maleterres de l’Est, Désolation des dragons, Zul’Drak, and Couronne de glace for reputation, as well as daily quests at the Argent Tournament, Tabard de la Croisade d'argent in level 80 dungeons at Friendly, and L'organisation des pays producteurs d'épais Trolls in Zul'drak. Players can also turn in Ecusson de mérite de la Croisade d'argent.

The Kirin Tor are a group of wizards located in Dalaran, who both research magic and protect the city from future harm.

Players can complete quests in Toundra Boréenne for reputation, as well as daily cooking, fishing, and dungeon quests offered in Dalaran. Players can gain reputation through using Tabard du Kirin Tor in level 80 dungeons at Friendly as well; since there aren't many quests, this is a good option in addition to turning in Ecusson de mérite du Kirin Tor. Mages are automatically friendly with the Kirin Tor.

The Chevaliers de la Lame d'ébène are a group of death knights who have broken free of Arthas' will and now server Généralissime Darion Mograine. Their quartermaster can be unlocked through a series of quests in Couronne de glace related to Le caveau des Ombres, a subzone in Couronne de glace.

Players gain reputation with the Chevaliers de la Lame d'ébène through quests in Zul’Drak and Couronne de glace, as well as daily quests at Le caveau des Ombres and the Argent Tournament. Tabard de la Lame d'ébène can be purchased at Friendly (with correct Caveau des Ombres phasing) for reputation in level 80 dungeons. Players can also turn in Ecusson de mérite de la Lame d'ébène and Chevalier de la morts start off as Friendly.

Duchesse des Voyées sells Patron : Sac abyssal and Dessin : Opale crépusculaire intemporelle.

Exalted counts towards Chevaliers de la Lame d'ébène and Avant-garde du Norfendre.

Verdict des cendres

Verdict des cendres is a parternship between the elite of the Croisade d'argent and the Chevaliers de la Lame d'ébène in Citadelle de la Couronne de glace. Tirion Fordring and Darion Mograine are their leaders.

Players mostly gain reputation solely through killing trash and bosses in Icecrown Citadel--those completing Deuillelombre gain additional reputation from quests.

Alchimiste Finklestein sells crafting patterns for boots and legs for the price of one Saronite primordiale. As players gain reputation, they can obtain rings with higher and higher ilevels. Finally obtaining Exalted grants Le Verdict des cendres and the title <Name> of the Ashen Verdict.

Kalu'aks

Kalu'aks are a group of tuskarr, nomadic walrus-like humanoids. They are great fishermen but less-skilled warriors--they are constantly attacked on their outposts in Toundra Boréenne, Fjord Hurlant, and Désolation des dragons by numerous Wrath factions.

Players earn reputation with several major questlines and then three dailies, one per quest hub: Le chemin de son cœur…, Se préparer au pire, and Préparer l'avenir.

Kalu'ak quartermasters are found in both Désolation des dragons and Fjord Hurlant. They sell negligible leveling gear as well as Dessin : Cristal ombreux purifié, Dessin : Cristal ombreux de défenseur, Patron : Sac de voyage de trappeur, Patron : Sac émeraude, Œuf de pingouin éclos, and Canne à pêche kalu'ak magnifique--a fishing pole that grants underwater breathing. Obtaining Exalted grants Rohart-mageddon--slightly more achievement points than normal.

Fils de Hodir

Fils de Hodir is a faction of frost giants in Les pics Foudroyés. Their hub is unlocked by doing a lengthy quest series, starting with Elles ont pris nos hommes !, which eventually leads to Thorim's betrayal.

Accord du Repos du ver is an alliance of Rouge, Bronze, Green, and Black Dragonflights that battle against the Blue Dragonflights. Their headquarters are in Wyrmrest Temple in Désolation des dragons.

Quests while leveling in Désolation des dragons give reputation; players can also buy Tabard de l'Accord du Repos du ver at Friendly to gain rep in level 80 dungeons. There is a daily quest, La défense du temple du Repos du ver, which gives the achievement Défense rapide if done quickly. Players can also turn in Ecusson de mérite du Repos du ver.

Cielstrasza sells the Joaillerie design Dessin : Topaze monarchique infrangible and Rênes de drake rouge.

Exalted is needed for both L'Accord du Repos du ver and Avant-garde du Norfendre.

Avant-garde de l'Alliance

The Ligue des explorateurs is an organization dedicated to preserving the nain past through artifacts, which soon turned into a larger organization seeking historical information about the entire world. Their main bases are located in Forgefer and Fjord Hurlant, with quests in Fjord Hurlant and Les pics Foudroyés granting reputation.

Givre-nés, a long-reclusive type of dwarf, lives in Frosthold in Les pics Foudroyés, ruled by Yorg Stormheart--Magni Bronzebeard after he lost his memory. They offer a handful of quests in Les pics Foudroyés and their NPCs sell fun items in return for the Relics of Ulduar such as Flacon de botte en fer.

Concordat argenté, a group of high elves in Dalaran, refuse the admittance of blood elf mages to the Kirin Tor. They support Veressa Windrunner and reside at the Silver Enclave. Concordat argenté is represented at the Argent Tournament: most dailies grant spillover reputation and they have several of their own dailies. At the Argent Tournament, one can get Le confident argenté, Palefroi quel'dorei, Hippogriffe du Concordat argenté, Wyrmelin chatoyant, and Tabard du Concordat argenté.

Expédition de la Bravoure is the main branch of the Alliance in Northrend, under orders of Roi Varian Wrynn. Their bases are located in Fjord Hurlant and Désolation des dragons. Their quests are found in Toundra Boréenne, Désolation des dragons, Les Grisonnes, Fjord Hurlant, and Couronne de glace.

Expédition de la Horde

Main de la vengeance is a group of réprouvé sent to Northrend to fight the Lich King with deadly plague. Players gain some reputation through quests in Fjord Hurlant and Désolation des dragons.

Saccage-Soleil, a group of horde in Dalaran, want blood elf mages admitted to the Kirin Tor. Through the efforts of Archimage Aethas Saccage-Soleil, they have been accepted into the city and reside at Sunreaver's Sanctuary. Saccage-Soleil are represented at the Argent Tournament: most dailies grant spillover reputation and they have several of their own dailies. At the Argent Tournament, one can get Les Saccage-Soleil, Faucon-dragon saccage-soleil, Faucon-pérégrin saccage-soleil, Wyrmelin chatoyant, and Tabard saccage-soleil.

Taunkas, relations to the tauren, have faced great tragedy in Northrend, recently joining the Horde after evacuating from Toundra Boréenne. Quest chains in Toundra Boréenne and Fjord Hurlant grant reputation.

The Offensive chanteguerre, an elite sect of the Warsong Clan, leads the Expédition de la Horde in Northrend. Players gain reputation from quests in Orneval, Toundra Boréenne, Désolation des dragons, Les Grisonnes, Couronne de glace, and Les pics Foudroyés.

Oracles, evolved murlocs, are advanced and peaceful reptiles in northern Sholazar. Their main benefits are Dessin : Jade sombre leste, Dessin : Emeraude forestière brumeuse, and from Œuf mystérieux, Rênes de proto-drake vert, Jeune cobra, Proto-drakonnet, Oisillon pique-bœuf, Oisillon pique-bœuf blanc.

The Burning CrusadeLigemort cendrelangue

The Ligemort cendrelangue are an elite sect of the Broken, a cast-off draenei tribe on Outlands. Initially, they served under Akama who supported Illidan Hurlorage, but upon liberating Akama from his Shade in Temple noir, the Deathsworn rebel.

Players can reputation through the Temple noir attunement questline in Vallée d’Ombrelune and the Arcatraz, but the majority of the reputation will come from killing the trash and bosses in Temple noir.

Okuno on the second floor of Le Temple noir sell shadow resist craftables as well as epic class trinkets at Exalted. Hitting exalted grants Lié aux ligemorts.

Expédition cénarienne

The Expédition cénarienne is a branch of the Cercle cénarien in Outlands, dealing with the threat of the Naga in Marécage de Zangar and the strange wildlife in Outlands. Their quartermaster is located at Cenarion Refuge in Marécage de Zangar.

Players can do numerous quests in Marécage de Zangar, Forêt de Terokkar, Péninsule des Flammes infernales, Raz-de-Néant, and Toundra Boréenne with D.E.H.T.A. In addition, Les enclos aux esclaves, La Basse-tourbière, and Le caveau de la Vapeur awards reputation from trash mobs and bosses. Running normal Steamvault is your best bet--there's no daily lockout, the mobs give fairly high reputation through Exalted unlike the other instances and there's patterns like Schéma : Bottes-fusées extrêmes for collectors. There's also Morceaux de plantes non identifiées, which is a good way to hit 5999/6000 Friendly before doing any quests. You can also turn in Oreille de laquais de Nesingwary for Des oreilles en boucle… and 150 reputation, but some players find this slow.

Exalted with both the Expédition cénarienne and the Cercle cénarien grants the achievement and title Gardien de Cénarius, in addition to counting towards Hippogriffe de guerre cénarien and Le croisé ardent. You'll probably get Trente millions d'ennemis from questing along the way too.

The quartermaster sells many notable recipes, including Recette : Flacon de sagesse distillée, Recette : Transmutation primordiale (Eau en Air), and Dessin : La garde naturelle. In addition, players are able to purchase a Hippogriffe de guerre cénarienfor ( with the Exalted discount), granting the achievement Hippogriffe de guerre cénarien.

Bastion de l'Honneur/Thrallmar

The members of Bastion de l'Honneur and Thrallmar are expeditionary soldiers on the frontlines against the Burning Legion at the Porte des ténèbres.

The majority of quests in Péninsule des Flammes infernales grant reputation, in addition to Les salles Brisées, La Fournaise du sang, and Remparts des Flammes infernales. An efficient way to farm reputation is to farm Les salles Brisées normal since, like Le caveau de la Vapeurs, these high-level mobs give a fair amount of reputation and there are numerous bosses. Collectors can also farm Patron : Chaperon frappe-sort and Formule : Enchantement d'arme 2M (Sauvagerie) there.

At exalted, players can purchase Tabard du bastion de l'Honneur/Tabard de Thrallmar. Quartermasters also sell numerous patterns for collectors, most notably Patron : Armure de jambe en cobra du Néant, Plans : Pointe de bouclier en gangracier, and Formule : Enchantement de cape (Discrétion). Exalted with these factions counts towards Le croisé ardent.

Gardiens du Temps

The Gardiens du Temps are a sect of bronze dragons hand-picked by Nozdormu in the Caverns of Time, a series of instances where players go back in time to preserve history.

Players earn reputation by getting attuned to Contreforts de Hautebrande d’antan and Le Noir marécage, in addition to running these instances over and over.

At exalted, players can purchase Tabard des gardiens du Temps, with numerous other recipes along the way: Recette : Flacon de pouvoir suprême, Formule : Enchantement de gants (Agilité excellente), Dessin : Pierre des lames, Dessin : Pendentif de la flamme gelée, Dessin : Serpent de rubis vivant, Patron : Tambours de panique, , Dessin : Facette d'éternité, Dessin : Diamant brûleciel de mystère, Formule : Enchantement de gants (Puissance des sorts majeure).

Exalted also counts towards Le croisé ardent.

Kurenaï/Mag'har

These two factions, while they have very different lore, are meant to be equivalent factions in Nagrand that grant shiny talbuks. The Kurenaï are a sect of the Broken, exiled and tainted Draeneï, that are looking to discover their new identity. The Mag'har are Thrall's ancestral family--and a highlight of TBC questing is learning how Thrall reconnects with his grandmother.

Questing in Nagrand will get you pretty far--killing ogres grants reputation, as does turning in the Perles de guerre en obsidienne most any creature in Nagrand drops.

Many players grind these reputations for the numerous Talbuks such as Rênes de talbuk de monte cobalt--the reputation also unlocks recipes like Recette : Transmutation primordiale (Feu en Terre) and Patron : Bottes de la Furie du Néant.

This counts towards Il n'y a que les Kurenaï qui m'aillent/Les Mag'har de Draenor and Diplomate.

Aile-du-Néant

Aile-du-Néant is a faction of enslaved dragons in Vallée d’Ombrelune, whom the player helps to thwart the bloodthirsty Dragonmaw Fel Orcs.

Players get to neutral with Aile-du-Néant through a quest series beginning with Un peu de gentillesse. Upon completing that, the daily hub at Netherwing Ledge is unlocked. Players can gain reputation either by doing dailies or turning in Œuf de l'Aile-du-Néant scattered around the sub-zone. We've got a pretty extensive reputation guide on our faction page.

Exalted with Aile-du-Néant grants Sur les ailes du néant as well as access to six dragon mounts sold by Camelot de drake Hurlunk. Players can also earn Ecusson de commandant at Revered and Fouet de brise-ciel for winning a series of races, Fracassé.

Ogri'la

Ogri'la is one of the more annoying factions to grind. A group of cheerful ogres in Les Tranchantes, they offer frustrating daily quests that combat the Burning Legion and Black Dragonflight.

There are very few ways to gain reputation with Ogri'la. After an initial chain, there are a handful of daily quests. You cannot grind this faction at all.

Sometimes mobs will drop "depleted" items, which can be turned into high-quality items with a certain number of Éclat apogide. Players can also purchase Tabard d'Ogri'la with Ogri'la Exalted and gain the achievement Une quête par jour pour leur amour.

Sporeggar

The Sporeggar are a peaceful faction of mushroom-humanoids in western Marécage de Zangar.

Players start off at unfriendly with Sporeggar and can complete Les malheurs des sporelins and Ennemis par nature to reach Friendly. After Friendly, there are several repeatable quests players can do--the easiest by far is turning in Hibiscus sanguin for Rapportez-moi un jardinet !, which are found in the La Basse-tourbière. Even without a level-capped rogue, it's easy to do stealth runs and net 15 flowers a pop.

The Sporregar Quartermaster, Mycah, sells a lot of neat stuff. Champignon Grand-pied tracks giants in the zone, the Drapé couvert de boue reduces your threat, the Garde lichen pétrifié applies deadly poison. There's also Recette : Transmutation primordiale (Terre en Eau), Patron : Sac de botanique de Mycah, Recette : Potion de voilage, the Minuscule sporoptère pet, and the Tabard de Sporeggar--so it's a good faction for collectors. (You'll purchase these items with a strange form of currency though--Chapeluisant, which are located around Western Zangarmarsh.)

Exalted counts towards Le tsar de Sporeggar and Diplomate.

Consortium

Consortium, a friendly group of ethereal traders, are located in Mana Tombs, Nagrand, and Netherstorm.

The easiest way by far is to grind out Insigne de Zaxxis in Raz-de-Néant for Un autre monceau d'éthériens--the respawn rate of the mobs is extremely fast and the droprate is fairly high. Players can also turn in Perles de guerre en obsidienne, but it makes more sense to save them for the Kurenaï/Mag'har grind. Reputation is also granted from running Tombes-mana.

At Exalted, players can purchase the Tabard du Consortium and achieve Président directeur exalté. At Friendly, players receive a 'salary' from the Consortium in the form of monthly bags of gems available from Gezhe in Nagrand. Consortium offers numerous patterns for collectors in Raz-de-Néant, Nagrand, and Karazhan, from Dessin : Diamant tonneterre implacable to Schéma : Charge d'hydroglycérine élémentaire--gem cuts are definitely their specialty.

Balance des sables

Balance des sables is a subset of the Bronze Dragonflight involved in Sommet d’Hyjal.

Players gain reputation with Balance des sables by killing bosses and trash inside Sommet d’Hyjal. There are only five bosses, which each spawn after waves of trash--so it's possible to keep wiping on the boss to respawn and farm the waves of trash.

At Friendly, players obtain an epic ring upon completing Les fioles d'éternité, a former attunement chain, which is upgraded as your reputation levels increase. Players can purchase numerous epic gem cuts and hunters used to be able to purchase epic ammo. Hitting Exalted grants La Balance des sables.

L'Œil pourpre

L'Œil pourpre is a group of mages from the Kirin Tor investigating the strange goings-on in Karazhan.

Players earn reputation with L'Œil pourpre through the Karazhan attunement chain, starting with Des troubles arcaniques, and also by farming trash and bosses in Karazhan.

As players gain reputation, they obtain better rings from Archimage Leryda outside of the instance. There are also various patterns that require reputation: Dessin : L'Oeil givré, Plans : Cuirasse de gardeglace, Plans : Heaume de gardeglace, , Patron : Corselet de rôdeur des ombres, Plans : Jambières de gardeglace, Patron : Cape des ténèbres, Formule : Enchantement d'arme (Agilité supérieure). Exalted grants the achievement L'Œil pourpre.

Tranquillien

Tranquillien is a low-level faction in Les terres Fantômes, with no Alliance equivalent. It is run by a group of blood elves and Forsaken to combat the Scourge that have overrun the rest of the zone.

Low-level players receive large amounts of reputation for completing quests in this town. If players finish the entire zone, they should be Exalted.

Sadly, not much of this gear is worthwhile with the addition of heirlooms, but the green armor does have distinctive armor skins.

ShattrathDraeneïVille basse

Ville basse is comprised of all the refugees from Outlands that have formed a vibrant community in Shattrath.

The most efficient way to hit Exalted is to turn in Plume d'arakkoa until Honored to Vekax, then complete all quests in Terokkar affiliated with Ville basse, then run Les salles des Sethekk and Labyrinthe des Ombres until the end.

Exalted counts towards Le croisé ardent, and in addition, players can purchase Tabard de la Ville basse. If you get lucky farming Les salles des Sethekk for reputation, you could end up with Rênes du seigneur corbeau.

Nakodu also sells a variety of patterns for collectors: Formule : Enchantement de cape (Esquive), Dessin : Spessarite de flamme toute-puissante, Recette : Élixir de puissance de l'Ombre majeure, , Dessin : Etoile filante, , Patron : Cape d'évasion arcanique.

Garde-ciel sha'tari

The Garde-ciel sha'tari are the elite flying squad division of the Sha'tar, focusing on the threat of the arakkoa in Skettis.

There are several daily and repeatable quests one can do: Un déluge de feu sur Skettis, L'évasion de Skettis, Allez dompter quelques raies de l’éther !, Un monde d'ombres. In addition, players can grind out reputation until the end of Revered simply by killing mobs in Skettis. If done correctly, players will eventually summon Terokk, a boss who can drop epics and vanity items like Figurine perdue dans le temps.

Exalted grants the achievement Belle vue sur Skettis. The quartermaster of the Garde-ciel sha'tari sells capes that reduce fall speed, numerous Nether Ray Mounts, a Frai du Néant pet, and Tabard de la Garde-ciel at exalted.

Opération Soleil brisé

The Opération Soleil brisé is Shattrath's response to Kil'jaeden's operations in the Plateau du Puits de soleil. It's a daily quest hub similar to the Front du Magma with different phases of daily quests and a wide variety of rewards.

Players gain reputation through numerous daily quests as well as running Terrasse des Magistères on both normal and heroic. Completing dailies can count towards your daily achievement totals, while farming instances can reward you with Faucon-pérégrin blanc rapide, Jeune phénix, Orbe des Sin'dorei, and numerous rare recipes.

There are numerous vendor rewards, such as epic gem cuts for jewelcrafters and several epic trinket recipes for alchemists. Tabard du Soleil brisé, Chef des opérations, and the title "of the Shattered Sun" are available at Exalted.

L'Aldor/Clairvoyants

L'Aldor and Clairvoyants are rival factions--the Aldor are a group of Draeneï priests while the Clairvoyants are a rebellious group of blood elves that sought redemption after their malicious deeds. Upon discovering Shattrath, you will be given a tour of the city and then asked to pick a faction. You can only be Exalted with one faction at a time, but crafters and achievement-collectors have swapped sides for fun and Héros de Shattrath.

Turn in Marque de Kil'jaeden/Chevalière Aile-de-feu until Honored. Then, turn in Marque de Sargeras/Chevalière Solfurie until Exalted. Arme gangrenée/Tome des Arcanes are rarer drops but offer much more reputation and are needed for shoulder enchants. There are several unique chains in Raz-de-Néant and Vallée d’Ombrelune that players should save for Honored.

Aldor rewards players with patterns for fire resistance gear, spellthreads, and jewelcrafting cuts. Exalted grants players Tabard de l'Aldor and Shattrath divisée.

Scryers reward players with patterns for arcane resistance gear, spellthreads, and jewelcrafting cuts. Exalted grants players Tabard des Clairvoyants.

Sha'tar

Sha'tar aided the Aldor in rebuilding the capital of Shattrath.

Players gain reputation through spillover reputation with L'Aldor and Clairvoyants. The majority of reputation will come from running Le Méchanar, L’Arcatraz, and La Botanica. In running these instances, crafters can collect patterns such as Patron : Pantalon d'escarmouche from bosses.

The quartermaster, located by A’dal, sells the following items for collectors: Recette : Flacon des Titans, Formule : Enchantement de gants (Menace), Recette : Pierre d'alchimiste, Dessin : Sang d'ambre, Recette : Transmutation primordiale (Air en Feu), Formule : Enchantement d'arme (Soins majeurs), Dessin : Chouette de talasite, Patron : Tambours de bataille, Dessin : Rose de Kailee, Formule : Enchantement de gants (Soins majeurs), Dessin : Anneau de protection contre les arcanes, Dessin : Diamant tonneterre de perspicacité.

Exalted with Sha'tar is required for Tabard de Sha'tar and is needed for Le croisé ardent.

ClassicAube d'argent

The Aube d'argent is the precursor to the Croisade d'argent, a group of soldiers dedicated to protecting Azeroth from evils such as the Burning Legion and the Scourge. While most members are now officially in the Croisade d'argent, one can still hit Exalted with this faction.

Players begin gaining reputation by completing Fiona's quest in Maleterres de l’Est. Next, complete L’appel d’Argent : les épreuves de la crypte behind Light's Hope Chapel. From Revered to Exalted, you will need to do the repeatable quests Les annales de la Main d'argent and Les aberrations osseuses. It's a bit simplified from the previous grind, which involved farming instance mobs, special scourgestones, and Insigne de l'Aube to buy epic gear.

Exalted used to grant players a shoulder enchant, but this has been removed from the game, as well as epics purchasable with Insigne de l'Aube. What does remain are L'Aube d'argent, Le champion d'argent, and a number of patterns at Honored and Revered such as Recette : Transmutation de l'Air en Feu and Formule : Enchantement de brassards (Pouvoir de guérison).

Voile sanglante

The Voile sanglante are the rival trading partners of Baie-du-Butin in Cap Strangleronce.

Players gain reputation by slaughtering inhabitants of Baie-du-Butin. The guards will net you and keep spawning--so bring friends to handle the waves of hostile mobs. Also be warned that your Steamwheedle Cartel rep will drop, but fortunately there are ways to raise it once your rep grind is done. Remember not to do quests associated with the Steamwheedle Cartel or else your pirate rep will drop! (However, players previously Honored with the Bloodsail before Cataclysm will have enough reputation to remain in good standing even if they redo all of STV for Loremaster.) Back in Wrath, players could painstakingly hit exalted by farming one lone goblin in The Badlands, Jazzrik, but he's now been removed.

This faction won't count towards the Exalted--the Feat of Strength En avant toutes, Amiral !, only requires Friendly and the Fou requires Honored; at that level, you'll get En avant toutes, amiral !, which rewards you with a pirate hat that summons a parrot: Bicorne d'amiral de la Voile sanglante. This achievement also grants the title "Bloodsail Admiral."

Progéniture de Nozdormu

The Progéniture de Nozdormu consists of the Bronze Dragonflight, led by Anachronos. They are mostly found in Silithus, integral to the outcome of Ahn'Qiraj.

Reputation starts off slow with the Progéniture de Nozdormu. The quest to open the gates of Ahn'Qiraj gave some reputation, but that was removed in Cataclysm. Players gain reputation from clearing trash and bosses in Ahn'Qiraj (as well as smaller amounts of rep from bosses in the Ruines d’Ahn’Qiraj), with slight amounts of additional reputation for completing quests that turn in honor. Clearing trash will only get you to 2999/3000 Neutral, so it is recommended to save the Insigne de seigneur qiraji from bosses and Ancien artéfact qiraji from trash until then.

Exalted with the Brood grants Progéniture de Nozdormu. Neutral, Friendly, and Honored reputation is needed to create different components of Tier 2.5 armor, like La couronne de vengeur. Epic rings are also available at each level of reputation until Exalted.

Cercle cénarien

The Cercle cénarien is a cross-faction organization of druids of all races, united to protect and restore nature. Their center is in Reflet-de-Lune, a zone that all Druides can teleport to. Affiliates of the Cercle cénarien keep appearing in later expansions--the Expédition cénarienne, Gardiens d'Hyjal, and Vengeurs d’Hyjal.

There are many quests scattered about Azeroth that give reputation. Players can also farm the Ruines and Ahn’Qiraj, in addition to turning in Texte du Crépuscule crypté dropped by Cultists in Silithus. The Prophète du Crépuscule, a rare elite, is guaranteed to drop a hefty number of texts.

The Cenarion Circle vendors primarily sold patterns for nature resistance gear--once important for fighting Princesse Huhuran. Collectors will want these items--do keep in mind that the Travail du cuir vendor, Aendel Lancevent, is a ghost in Southwind Village, while Général de division Andorov is located inside the Ruines d’Ahn’Qiraj.

Foire de Sombrelune

The Darkmoon Faire, needed for Insane in the Membrane, is Azeroth's traveling carnival--with monthly stops alternating between Forêt d’Elwynn, Mulgore, and Forêt de Terokkar. Players can enjoy many perks of a real carnival, such as prizes, fortunes, contests, and fanciful refreshments.

With the Darkmoon Faire's revamp in Patch 4.3, it's very easy to hit Exalted with the Faire if you keep doing daily quest games when the Faire is in town. Check out our Darkmoon Faire guide for full details.

Hydraxiens

Hydraxiens are the sworn enemies of Ragnaros. Players used to need reputation to acquire Quintessence éternelle, which allowed each boss rune to be doused, summoning Chambellan Executus. That's been simplified in Cataclysm though.

Players gain reputation by killing trash and bosses inside Molten Core. Most trash gives reputation until Revered, so you will have to clear the 10 bosses each week to hit Exalted. Good thing there's Lame-tonnerre, épée bénie du Cherchevent and Sulfuras, Main de Ragnaros to farm along the way.

Exalted players receive Les Hydraxiens.

Ravenholdt

Ravenholdt, the Assassin's League, is a group of rogues located at the Ravenholdt Manor in Alterac Mountains.

Voleurs have special quests to gain reputation, such as Emblèmes du Syndicat. However, for all classes, it's easiest to kill Syndicat in Contreforts de Hautebrande until 11999/12000 Honored, repeating Demande de coffrets until Exalted. Players will need the aid of a rogue to pickpocket level 50-60 mobs in instances such as Pic Rochenoire for Coffret lourd.

Exalted is required for Tous des malades. There are no other noticeable rewards besides the NPCs praising players more generously as reputation increases.

Syndicat

The Syndicate is a group of human criminals and rogues located in Alterac Mountains and Arathi Highlands. They're hated by both the Alliance and the Horde; they operate on their own terms.

Confrérie du thorium

The Confrérie du thorium is a renegade group of craftsmen that have split off from the Dark Iron dwarves. They give quests in Gorge des Vents brûlants and sell their ways in Profondeurs de Rochenoire.

The reputation grind has been simplified since the days of farming Ecaille d'incendosaure. Players will do quests for reputation, as well as the repeatable quest Se faire encore mieux accepter. 100 Résidu de sombrefer yields 1500 reputation. After Honored, you will want to turn in items to Lokhtos Sombrescompte in Blackrock Depths--Noyau de feu and Noyau de lave are the most cost-efficient.

Getting Exalted with this faction isn't tied to any achievement, but it's easy since the turn-ins are generally cheap at this point in Cataclysm. Crafters will get a ton of patterns, such as Plans : Epaulières en anneaux de feu and Formule : Enchantement d'arme (Intelligence renforcée). Blacksmiths can complete Un contrat contraignant which rewards Plans : Marteau en sulfuron, needed to craft Sulfuras, Main de Ragnaros.

Grumegueules

The Timbermaws are peaceful and uncorrupted Furbolgs that live in a tunnel between Gangrebois and Berceau-de-l’Hiver. They are cautious about trusting outsiders, so you will have to work hard to gain their respect.

After Cataclysm, the location of some Furbolg camps have changed, but the principle is the same. Complete quests in Gangrebois first, then complete the quests from Donova Antreneige in Berceau-de-l’Hiver. Then, kill all of the furbolgs in sight, turning in Plus de perles pour Salfa for additional reputation. It shouldn't take players a ton of time to hit Exalted, even if they skip some quests.

At Exalted, players complete La racine du mal for Défenseur des Grumegueules. New to Cataclysm is the addition of Bâton de fourrure et griffes, a permanent version of the depricated Orneval quest item. At various reputation levels, the Timbermaw will also sell crafting patterns such as Formule : Enchantement d'arme 2M (Agilité). Exalted also counts towards Il y a de l'amour dans ce tunnel and Diplomate.

Éleveurs de sabres-d'hiver

The Éleveurs de sabres-d'hiver used to be a difficult grind for the Alliance, simplified greatly in Cataclysm. In past years, there were three repeatable quests that gave tiny amounts of reputation that required players to travel all around the zone. Now, players do a set amount of daily quests per day that grant a fair amount of reputation. Upon obtaining Rênes de sabre-de-givre de Berceau-de-l'Hiver, players earn Sabre-de-givre de Berceau-de-l'Hiver.

One of the most difficult grinds in the game, you gain 35 reputation (45 on holiday weekends) per flag cap in Goulet des Chanteguerres. Definitely recommend queueing with friends for this one, as you'll most likely finish out the WSG meta before this achievement.

Exalted used to reward players with Tabard de bataille aile-argent, but now it just rewards Sentinelle d'Aile-argent.

Garde Foudrepique

The Garde Foudrepique is a group of dwarves fighting in Vallée d’Alterac under imperial orders of Roi Magni Barbe-de-Bronze to find artifacts about their past.

It is extremely easy to gain rep in this large battleground; doing quests and killing both NPCs and players will grant rep.

Exalted players receive Héros de la garde Foudrepique.

Ligue d'Arathor

Ligue d'Arathor is a group of Stromguardian humans trying to reclaim Bassin Arathi for their allies in Hurlevent.

Players gain 10 reputation every 160 resources (150 on holiday weekends) in Bassin Arathi.

Exalted players level 60+ can access Prendre cinq bases, which rewards them with Tabard de bataille d'Arathor. Players also earn Chevalier d'Arathor.

Horde ForcesConquérantClan Loup-de-Givre

The Clan Loup-de-Givre is a group of orcs practicing shamanism in Alterac Valley--they are very upset by the dwarves effort to use the sacred zone for resources.

It is extremely easy to gain rep in this large battleground; doing quests and killing both NPCs and players will grant rep.

Exalted players receive Héros du clan Loup-de-Givre.

Profanateurs

Profanateurs are a group of Forsaken in Trépas-d'Orgrim trying to secure Bassin Arathi for Horde resources.

Players gain 10 reputation every 160 resources (140 on holiday weekends) in Bassin Arathi.

Exalted players level 60+ can access Prendre cinq bases, which rewards them with Tabard de bataille des Profanateurs. Players also earn Profanateur.

Voltigeurs Chanteguerre

The Voltigeurs Chanteguerre, formerly led by Grommash Hurlenfer, try to defend their logging camps against the protests of the Alliance.

Exalted used to reward players with Tabard de bataille chanteguerre, but now it just rewards Voltigeur Chanteguerre.

As the title suggests, this guide makes for a good overview. Used as check list and a basic start for all the reps in the game people can get a 1,000 foot view of what is ahead of them and the potential rewards. There are some details missing which make getting some of these reps much much much easier, but seeing as this is Wowhead, and the guide links all the reps to their actually database page, users can go check comments for additional information.

As for formatting the tabs are listed chronologically, which is kinda cool. I don't know if guild rep should be at the front. Maybe before the "other" section. That is just personal preference I guess.

FYI, it is still buggy. My guild has every reputation achievement except the last one. That means we have exalted in all the raids, all the pvp, and are only lacking in oddball ones like Bloodsail, Ravenholt and Shendralar. Jot them all down on a piece of paper and we should have United Nations by now.

Just wanna point one thing out here really quick: Like every other faction with a reputation bar, the Bloodsail Buccaneers *do* count towards a player's total when Exalted is reached. Not quite sure why this guide says they don't. Perhaps this could be fixed?

A nice guide which pulls it together.

However, as of 4.3.0 the information on Foire de Sombrelune is significantly out of date. Reputation with the Faire is now easily available through one-time, daily, monthly, profession related & turn-in quests mostly for 250 or 350 reputation per quest. The biggest limitation is that the Faire is only around 1 week per month.

For those looking for Steamwheedle rep:

If you've done the Tanaris quests before cata, there's new quests to do now (obvious, but I've got to start somewhere).
The initial quests do not provide reputation with Steamwheedle Cartel, but doing them unlocks quests that do give you some rep.
So if you haven't done youre post-cata Tanaris questing: make sure to do them all, there's some quests which give you +250 rep. And that's a lot of pirates...

For completeness' sake, there are two other reputations that were removed in vanilla WoW that should be mentioned:

Wildhammer Clan (Alliance) - Some truly dedicated players killed thousands upon thousands of trolls in the Hinterlands to get exalted with the original vanilla Wildhammer Clan, only to have the reputation removed in patch 2.0.1. This faction was re-introduced in Cataclysm, but under a different faction ID.

Revantusk Tribe (Horde) - This faction was added in patch 1.5 and removed in patch 1.11. If a Level 60 Horde player were to complete all the quests with the Revantusk trolls, they could reach 340/3000 neutral with them. Source: http://www.wowwiki.com/Revantusk_tribe

I just wanted to point out an error in this guide.

The Anglers is listed twice. The first heading for The Anglers describes reputation and awards for the August Celestials.

Alphabetically this section can be moved below the next section, which IS for The Anglers, and renamed so as to include The August Celestials in the guide. Newcomers may be confused with the guide as is, if they came here to learn about grinding reputation for either faction.

Pretty pointless guide in my opinion. Only gives vague information on how to increase rep. I suppose its good if you just want an general idea of whether you want to grind a certain rep or not, but for someone like me who has done pretty much every rep grind, the information in this guide is nowhere near enough. No tips or tricks, hardly any interesting historical facts about certain factions. Pretty useless for someone like me.

For the Syndicate the highest your reputation can go is 0/3000 neutral. Killing the npc's is tedious as they're on a 6.5 minute timer, and there are less than 30 total mobs so you're going to get less than 200 rep per 7 minutes if you're doing it on time every time even counting the new ghost mob in the basement.

Was pretty fun to do though, and now after mogging my gear to look like theirs I can RP walk through Strom, and confuse the hell out of new players who wonder why a skull mob is hanging around a level 20 questing zone. Good times.

There is some extra information about the netherwing rep, Netherspite the dragon boss in karazhan, drops the hard to find netherwing eggs. He drops 1-3 which is 300-900 Rep as a human.

Quick way to earn reputation with a City Tabard of Exodar for example is to equip it and run The Mechanar normal instance multiple times.

It's very quick, as the instance has two portals and one of them is at the last boss so resetting is extremely quick. A run grants 2000+ reputation within around 6 minutes (Enhancement Shaman). It would be even more quicker with a class with more suitable AoE (Arcane Mage, anyone?).

For Enhancement, you can't use Fire Nova as not many mobs have enough HP to endure Flame Shocks and using Magma Totem doesn't allow you to earn reputation from kills.

OK I am not one to get every item to boost rep or stuff like that. I just don a tabbard and hit a dungeon in whatever area I happen to be in providing the dungeon allows rep gains.

That said I wanted to finish my rep with Thunder Bluff of which I was about 4k into revered which means I had about 17K remaining til Exalted.

I was in Ulduar farming and when I finished I emptied my bags and decided to run a few normal Halls of Lightning with my Thunder Bluff Tabard equipped.

OK so I started the first run and killed every mob as I came to it. Each awards 15 Reputation and 300 for the Bosses. The only exceptions are the Slag which award 1 rep point but they also re-spawn in like 30 sec. allowing for a very tedious grind if you so desire. The other exception are the Stormforged Giant which award 30 rep but there are only 2 inside. All told I gained approx 2850 rep in like 18 min. Not great although not the worst I have seen either. But 18 min for 2850 rep and about 250 gold was a waste. That would amount to 8550 rep and about 750 gold in an hour.

Now I know there are others that would give higher rep gains and gold as well I figured I would find another and not waste my time, until I ran back out.

Running back the way I came I pulled aggro on one of the aforementioned Slag and just kept running. I got back to the entrance and behold the Slag was still coming. Then I remembered the aggro for the LK Dungeons used to stay until you left the instance. Unlike the newer ones where you can drop aggro and they will run back. So I decided to test and see what happens if I tried to gather them all up and AOE them down.

Back in I went. I ran as close to mobs as needed to aggro them on a lvl 100 Feral Druid, and just kept running I pulled everything in the first chamber and second (1st and 2nd boss) then AOE'd them down. Took only 2:20 to grab everything and 3 swipes to kill. Then off to the remaining 2 bosses and trash.

All told, in 6 min I got 2857 Reputation and ~220g. Add another min to empty bags and reset instance and you have 7 min for 2850 rep (will vary based on the slags you pull as they award 1 rep ea.). That is approx 8 runs per hour and could easily net 21+k rep and 2+k gold.

Since I didnt need a full 21k rep I was able to get ~17k rep in about 35 min on top of about 1100g. not bad imho.

As of Patch 6.2.2 ( I believe ) you can NO LONGER gain ANY reputation from Isle of Thunder.
You only gain 500 Rep/week from one of the celestials on timeless isle.

Just wanted to check, is the Gelkan Clan rep no longer obtainable at all? If so, should it not be classed as removed? The Shen'dralar rep still shows up in my rep list under 'classic' despite being unobtainable.
If there is another way to get the Gelkan clan rep, then I'd love to know as I don't have it! I've got 77 reps done with 2 of them being removed... not many to go!

this guide has a few errors

1- first off, i am already at 65/70 reps exalted and that doesn't include most pvp reps (only 1 exalted) and all reps from wod and legion.
2- you forgot the black prince whose rep was also removed from game.

therefore, imo it is entirely possible to hit 100 exalted reps before or once bfa launches.

I have a question regarding the Steamweedle Cartel. If I had been exalted with all, but then lost the rep due to BloodSail, do I need to regrind them for credit toward the 100 rep achievement?

about Black Prince reputation...Mogu enemies on the isle of thunder gives 25~50 rep so it's easy to get to exalted in less than 1 hour farming around the middle of the map close to diremoor. Hope it helps ~8.0~

So I just ran both AQ raids ( Ruines d’Ahn’Qiraj and Ahn’Qiraj ) and it seems Blizzard have removed to rep from trash and first boss in Temple Le prophète Skeram. I cannot fathom why but the only reason I can think of is something a guildy mentioned when I told them about the nerf. They suspect it could be related to Battle for Azeroth as there are elements of Old Gods in there. This I find a loose connection but the only plausible one I can see. Seems rediculous Blizzard have to to do things like this to old content.

On a side note the bosses in Ruins gave far LESS rep than before. I believe they used to all give about 100. Now it's about 60 (except for Ossirian l'Intouché who still gives over 100 rep).

And for any veteran rep farmers out there around the zone where Ossirian is, killing the summoned trash from the large Obsidian Humanoid/Egyptian Jackal mobs no longer gives rep so farming rep that way (which took long but faster than weekly reset farms) is no longer viable. DAMN YOU BLIZZ!

Vol'jin's Spear for Horde, and Wrynn's Vanguard for Alliance are no longer obtainable. Ashran is no longer a battleground and the Medallion of the Legion doesn't give rep for those factions any longer, either.

Hi every one! I haven't played World of Warcraft in between 4-5 years, according to my account when I renewed my subscription last night. I feel VERY lost, and am very thankful for this site, and my new friend who told me about it on the game. To sum it up when I logged in and i had 2,000 gold left over in my inventory I was happy and impressed and thought that was a lot to have left my self. I was very wrong. My question is: Can I please get some feedback on which sanction is best to get reputation points for now a days? I'm currently a level 90 Balance Druid on Kargath server. I asked general chat if a lvl 90 was worth using the lvl 110 token on and 2-3 people said no and only 1 said yes, so i've yet to use my token. I used to have Golden Lotus as my favorite, and the one I get rep for by doing dungeons; but I don't remember why. Please, and Thank you SO much in advance for any help on who to get reputation with. I feel so very confused and over-whelmed.

With the 8.1 Reputation changes Tranquillien does NOT cancel out with Wintersaber reputation

This is how we verified:

On a new account:

Created a Horde toon, and only quested through Ghostlands, getting exalted with Tranquillien in the process.

Created an Alliance toon and completed the quests for Wintersaber Trainers, hitting exalted

On the Alliance toon who had only Wintersaber's at exalted the 5 réputations exaltées Achievement tracker shows 2/5.
On the Horde toon who had only Tranquillien at exalted the tracker showed 2/5.

Progress Notes:

This had actually been the source of some confusion for several of the people in the Achievements Discord and on the forums, because after 8.1 hit we had magical reputations added to our counter that no one could find on any toon. We then considered the possibility that Tranquillien and Wintersabers were not actually cancelling each other out as we long assumed they were. After all, they have two entirely different quest lines, are from two different expansions, and when you change factions you don't automatically switch from one to the other unless you've completed the quest line.

We had a couple of people who hadn't done the Tranquillien quest line ever, and after they completed it the counter on their Alliance toon's achievement tracker went up.
To bar any other possibility we did the above on a new account, et voila, a magical mystery reputation solved.

P.S. There is still another magical mystery reputation that many of us have, and we are still working on solving that. The current theory is that the hidden, "parent" Alliance/Horde rep's are now counting toward the Achievements (whereas before 8.1 they did not). There was once an addon that made the hidden reputations visible, but it hasn't been updated since, like 2008? We are currently using the new account to verify, but if anyone who doesn't/hasn't EVER gotten all of the city reps to exalted wants to do so and then check if they have an extra reputation on their tracker...we'd love to know!

I have been looking for clarification about cross-faction and cross-realm achievements with regard to reputation.

I have almost exclusively played Horde on 1 server but recently made an alliance toon on another server and wondered if the faction grinding I do will count towards the Exalted Rep achievement. Mousing over the shield in the top right corner of the achievement says progess on any of your characters will count - but I just reached exalted on an alliance city faction and the count didn't alter. I don't think I'm mis-remembering and will shortly be able to confirm either way as I'm almost exalted with a 2nd city faction.

Does anyone know for sure?

IMPORTANT info for people working on this in/after BFA!

The Horde/Alliance alternatives for BFA only count 1 time (which I think is a load of bull).

And here is a quote directly from it. "... if you have exalted 7th Legion on your Alliance character, and exalted with Honorbound on your Horde. Then your account only has credit for 1 of those 2 reps in the achievement tracker. Account wise they're the same rep."

Finally I EU-Madmortem Locantos finished from classic to BfA all reputation farms and have now 109 factions on exalted.

Addtionally I have farmed, when it was possbile in the past, also the 4 header factions like
- Classic:
Alliance (for Alliance players)
(for Horde players it would be Horde )
Steamwheedle Cartel
- The Burning Crusade:
Shattrath City
- Wrath of the Lich King:
Sholazar Basin

There was the addon HiddenReputations, that made them visible

I also have the 24 reputations on maximum as best friend, time lord and wingman.

So overall I have capped 127 reputations and most important all on this one character only.

Any reputation that requires a 'turn in' like Scryers/Aldor needs to have the name and location of the NPC where you turn in the items.

There needs to be a lot more info for Brood of Nozdormu. There's no explanation of the loot (based on class), and where the NPC's are stationed for the rep turn-ins. It's very sparse and not real helpful.

Should add that Timewalking weeks now give you 50% rep buff for the associated expansion that is being Timewalked (so BC, Wrath, Cata, MoP, WoD). I don't think they apply to all reputations, but they do to most in that expansion.

Laughing Skull and Sha'tari Defense do not count toward 100 reps.
I am also unsure about Operation Shieldwall/Dominance Offensive.
If you have Oracles at exalted, don't bother with Frenzyheart, it will not count (toward the 100) unless you just want the achieve for doing both.

I am stuck at 99/100. So whatever hits first Rajani or Uldum will knock me to 100 :(.

I wish people would be less concerned with being 'that person who posted some info' before actually factchecking their information. So many of these 'guides' have incorrect info on them and cause people to waste a lot of time.

Frostwolf Orcs are on this list as part of the 100 but last night I grinded out the last 6k I needed to get exalted and it did not count towards my 100. I was at 96 and I am still at 96.
Edit: Check your Dreanor achievements if you think Frostwolf Orcs didnt count. I found that I did have the credit for them, even though I checked every character I have and none of them were exalted before I finished my grind. I did think it was weird how I reached exalted but got no achievement for it upon completion. I went through every character, both factions, to see if I had the rep maxed or the equivalent. Extra weird that the achievement says I hit exalted with them in July 2024 when I was on a break from the game, so check your achievements.

Right now during the WoW's 20th Anniversary event, you can purchase the previously removed Zandalar Tribe rep tokens from one of the vendors, Bobadormu, for 50 timewalking badges each, so get them while you can! He also sells Thorium Brotherhood, Argent Dawn, Timbermaw, Hydraxian Waterlords and Brood of Nozdormu.
