Despite its high mana cost a great spell for both shadow and holy/disc specced priests. Personally I use this spell only with inner focus to save myself some mana.

Use it for warriors or rogues to get them down faster before they get enough damage (read mortal strike) in to outdamage your heals.

Also a tip: don't use this on (frost)mages in a duel before they iceblocked.

If you have vampiric embrace on the target of devouring plague, you get healed for both the damage you deal (through the vamp embrace) and the actual spell effect of the plague. This, combined with shadow word pain and renew provides for some healthy damage over time as well as healing over time.

The Forsaken are a rogue group of undead who were gathered up by Sylvanas Windrunner. UD is their race, Forsaken is their cause (to become free of the Scourge and to destroy those on earth that hunt them). the Scourge is the group of undead led by the Lich King, Ner'zhul, who's purpose was to reak havok on the world until the Burning Legion arrived. The Lich was under the influence of the Burning Legion. So, this spell should be classified as either "Undead" or "Forsaken" but Scourge is technically incorrect; however, when you are creating a game, it really doesn't matter what tags you put on to things because the classification "scourge" cannot be seen in-game.

a draenei cant get this quest, not even this spell. Draenei = ally, that consist of human, gnome, dwarf, night elf and draenei. this is a spell for undead priests. undead = horde, that consist of undead, orc, troll, tauren and blood elf. if u want this spell, then u have to reroll undead.

UC = Undercity. its the undead/horde city. if u wanna live, dont go there as an ally

That is true in math, but not in life. A=B so B=A is true.

BUT, the correct example would be, all horses are animals, but not all animals are horses.

Therefore all scourge are undead and all forsaken are undead, but not all undead are forsaken and scourge. Obvously they can't be both.

So, just for clarification sake, this is an undead spell only. If you're a blood elf, or troll priest for example, you can't get this spell.
