I have respecced to 26 Disc / 25 Holy.
This spell is actually kinda usefull.
For priests, it increases your mana regen by 10 (Total Spirit / 4) + 13.
This, combined with (Greater) Blessing of Wisdom helps you keep your mana up. But actually, in end-game, it is more important to get mana/5 instead of spirit, cause it (fully) continues while casting while spirit only regens fully when you have not cast any spells for 5 seconds or longer.
Hope this helps, Great buff anyway :))

I never noticed it increased spell damage before.

Stacks with Kreeg's Stout Beatdown, but not Crystal Force
