Towards the end you will get to the Moonshrine Ruins. Underneath the long walkway that leads to Kelris, there is a stone table down in the water. This tablet is the fathom core to complete "Amongst the Ruins", but it also summoned Baron Aquanis when we clicked it. Kill Baron Aquanis and he will drop the strange water globe. Then just return the globe to Je'neu at Zoram'gar.

Commento di Thottbot

i got it at lv22. it's awesome ... with 18.9dps and +2 weapon dmg enchant (from my friend), nothing will beat this sword in a long time. I ran blackfathom deep instance with my lv41 priest friend ... just two of us. got killed after beating baron boss ...so, i managed to get the globe for this sword at least. Couldn't finish the instance tho. Also got armor311 blue armor from one of the bosses there.

Soloed Baron Aquanis fairly easily today as a 28 combat swords rogue to get the . Super dope weapon for a 20's rogue. Could have run it as a group but wanted to see how hard it would be after reading this excellent post.

Preparation:
- Pick up the quest Amongst the Ruins for the Nucleo Profondo at the Zoram'gar Outpost.
- Bring a Pozione di Cura, Tè di Sboccialesto, and Elisir del Respiro Acquatico.
- Bring food buffs, scrolls, anything else to help.
- Use on both weapons.

Getting to Baron Aquanis:
- Stealth all the way to Moonshire Ruins in Blackfathom Deeps.
- Look out for stealthed Fallenroot Shadowstalker so you don't run over them and get exposed. Be prepared to Dileguarsi.
- Use Distrazione to sneak past mobs that are moving too much. (one of my favorite Rogue abilities)
- Loot Giant Clam where possible.
- There is a little ramp on the right before you go under water in Moonshire Ruins. You can chill here, relax, and eat some Bivalve Piccante alla Goblin before summoning the boss.

The Fight:
- Use Elisir del Respiro Acquatico before starting. First time I did this he froze me underwater and I died of asphyxiation.
- Go to the right of the entrance to Moonshire Ruins, under water, and loot the Nucleo Profondo from the Fathom Stone to summon Baron Aquanis.
- He will immediately start casting Dardo di Gelo, but very slowly. Interrupt as many casts as possible.
- If you are low on energy and can't , use Tè di Sboccialesto.
- He can freeze you in place with Esplosione Gelida, and then move back to resume casting. Try not to let other mobs get aggroed. (I didn't aggro any other mobs)
- He doesn't do a ton of melee damage, so interrupting casting is the most important task.
- Use Pozione di Cura to stay up on health, perhaps /Benda Pesante di Lana, but I didn't have to. Didn't even use Evasione.
- Kill him! Loot his corpse for the Globo d'Acqua Strano, accept the quest Baron Aquanis.
- Hearth and turn in at Je'neu Sancrea to get the . If you've been using for a while this will be a nice upgrade!

Other Notes:
- Baron Aquanis is a level 24 elite.
- He's more of a mini-boss, no adds, and the fight should actually be rather short.
- Looting the Fathom Core from the Fathom Stone is what summons Baron Aquanis.
- If you die, you will have to destroy the Fathom Core item and abandon the quest so you can loot the Fathom Core again to summon him.
- Going with 1 other rogue would be super fun!

Baron Aquanis

Bring the Strange Water Globe to Je'neu Sancrea at Zoram'gar Outpost, Ashenvale.

	Globo d'Acqua Strano (Fornito) (1)

Descrizione

The defeated water elemental has left behind a strange water globe. You surmise that the object somehow fed the beast energy. Inside the globe, a putrid-looking form of water sloshes about. The globe itself seems impervious to any sort of physical force.

If anyone can make any sense of this item, it would be Je'neu Sancrea of the Earthen Ring. He is located at the Horde's Zoram'gar Outpost in Ashenvale.
