Classic Dungeon Sets

Scholomance sets are no longer available due to Scholomance's revamp in Mists of Pandaria. They didn't totally match in the first place, but held sentimental value

The Defias set is no longer available due to Deadmine's revamp in Cataclysm, although boots, pants, and gloves can be gotten through other means.

ZG class sets are now removed, but they reused artwork from several other armor sets that are still in game. The ones with distinctive pieces were brought back as ilvl 429 greens in 5.2.

The Scarlet Chain set was removed with Scarlet Monastery's revamp in Mists of Pandaria, but

The Postmaster set from Stratholme is still available, even after Stratholme's revamp in Cataclysm.

The Embrace of the Viper is still available from Wailing Caverns.

The Ironweave Battlesuit is a special set that could be collected from summonable bosses on the Dungeon Set 2 questline. Although that questline was removed in Cataclysm, the Blandón de Invocación and Estandarte de provocación still work on six of the eight bosses.

CataclysmHour of Twilight SetAlma de Dragón

Players can acquire most of these pieces from Pozo de la Eternidad, Hora del Crepúsculo, and Fin de los Días. Players must be 85 to queue up.

Select pieces can be acquired from completing the following quests: Murozond, Para que conste, ¡Al Reposo del Dragón!, Documentar los portales del tiempo, El camino al Alma de dragón, El profeta Crepuscular. These quests can only be completed once, so be mindful of what you select!

In Patch 5.1, Guantes de Bipsi were added as a Tailoring recipe. These are identical to Guantes de archivista, used in Whisperwind Regalia (Recolor). An alternative method of getting this style was added because Para que conste rewarded Guantes de archivista in addition to the unique wand Varita de la media luna.

These bosses drop ilvl 346 gear on Heroic difficulty, which requires level 85 to access. Normal-mode bosses have their best drops capped at ilvl 333.
