Diablo Returns to Sanctuary - Diablo Immortal Shattered Sanctuary Content Update Preview

On December 13, Blizzard will release Diablo Immortal's Patch 3.2, Shattered Sanctuary. Advertised as the game's biggest content update since launch, the patch will feature new main story quests, a new zone called World's Crown, and Immortal's biggest boss fight to date against Diablo, the Lord of Terror, himself!

Diablo Raid Boss Fight
The clear focus on this content update lies in the culmination of Diablo Immortal's
Worldstone mainline quest
and the raid boss encounter featuring
Diablo, Lord of Terror
. Resurrected by the Bride of Hell, Diablo is about to put his evil plans into motion. The hero's only chance to banish Diablo back to Hell is to use the power of El'druin, the Sword of Justice, once wielded by Tyrael himself.
In a group interview with Wowhead and other media outlets, Immortal's development team stated that the fight against Diablo is Immortal's biggest and most complex boss encounter as of yet. The Lord of Terror will use his most iconic abilities from Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 to make quick work of his mortal enemies, but there will also be new twists to Diablo Immortal's version of the fight.
New Zone: World's Crown
The second highlight of Diablo Immortal's Patch 3.2 is the addition of the World's Crown, which will be the game's largest zone after release. We don't want to spoil too much, but we have witnessed the return of several monsters and NPCs from older Diablo games, including Diablo 1.
Blizzard confirmed that they have dug deep and unearthed the franchise's roots to create a unique aesthetic for the new zone, working closely with multiple studio teams, including Team 3 and the developers of Diablo 4. Due to the sheer size of the zone, players will be able to experience multiple facets of what appears to be Sanctuary's final hour in the wake of Diablo's return.
New Helliquary Bosses & Challenger Dungeons
Besides these two main content features, Shattered Sanctuary will also feature new so-called
Challenger Dungeons
, which double down on Immortal's solid dungeon gameplay by increasing both difficulty and rewards. A bunch of
new Helliquary bosses
will join the fray as well, further developing one of Diablo Immortal's core progression systems.

wonder if the graphical update/overhaul is coming with this patch? slated for mid december release
