When you are fighting creatures of a certain monster family. Those monsters have a higher chance to drop certain kinds of items. It's actually a bonus chance to drop certain item types happening in the background. For example, Skeletons have a chance to drop Crossbows, irrespective of your class. But that's not taking a roll from the Skeleton, it could drop anything else in addition to that Crossbow. It's an extra bonus item that they can drop. Every monster family has a few different items that drop this way.

Players will realize over time which item types drop from which monster family. As players map these things out, they will find the best areas to find certain items. That includes Unique items!

30% of the dungeons in Diablo 4 do not contain a boss fight at the end.

The Druid boss "Innes, Vengeance of Glór-an-Fháidha" only appears in one dungeon—Ferals' Den.

The highest number of dungeon objectives is five (including the Boss objective) and can only be found in two dungeons.

The Skeleton monster family is encountered in 34% of all dungeons in the game.
