Diablo 4 Seasons Return to Normal Length - But for How Long?

Season 8 famously had one of the shortest runtimes to date, clocking in at a full three weeks shorter than usual, following an abnormally long Season 7, September 23, 2025.Diablo 4 Roadmap indicated Season 9 would end in September

If Season 10 runs the same length as Season 9, it would end a week before Christmas, making for a very awkward release afterwards.

Cutting Season 10 short by a couple of weeks, similar to Season 8, would still cause whatever new content release to run into the holiday season, and marketing a new Season or even a new Expansion around December would be a tall task for Blizzard.
