Wow this changes everything! Thank god Blizzard is making an actually good game unlike Path of Exile, PoE is way too easy, looking forward to actually hard content with The Tower.
Again.
If I have to get Lilith shrines every season, I will likely not play. Running around for map uncover and doing dungeons/quests for renown.. fine.... Do t make me do the shrines again.
Wait, what? Grind renown, lilith shrines, etc. all over? Why the huge step back?
This was such a good improvement... Until I read
In usual Blizzard fashion they list a bunch of great changes and then the Monkey's Paw is hidden towards the bottom. Why would they think resetting renown every season is a good idea? Nobody wants this.
Nothing about the talent trees? I guess thats being kept for next expansion .
REALLY not a fan of the Renown changes, but everything else here looks promising in theory
The paraphrasing for the Season Rank and Renown is a bit misleading. As the blog states, you'll get skill points and paragon points when reaching certain ranks of the season rank system. The altars themselves only give minor XP gains and other misc rewards - no permanent stats/power like they do currently.
I recommend reading the "Introducing Season Rank" section of the actual blog post. I was salty about the renown change until I read the full changes for it, it sounds fine if I understand it correctly. This wowhead post does not give the full picture.
How could this game fall so bad to current stage. Diablo was absolutely the biggest gane for so long, the bad devs destroyd the game.
The item upgrading changes seem awful. Only 1 temper per item will destroy virtually every build that requires CDR reduction tempers to evade or ultimates. That’s gonna be a disaster…
A lot of these changes do not seem good. Making players jump through all sorts of new hoops to access torments, upgrade their gear, earn renown...We just want to play, not run through an endless checklist of 'to-do's before we can access the endgame.
Good changes, happy to see ranked is finally back in a form that is good.
1 step forward, 2 back.
