I prefer the desert area easily accessed by using the Alter of Ruin way-point. Starting from the south exit of the way-point, head towards the west, skirting the various paths around to the north area where cannibals usually hide out, then down to the west coast beach area, back towards where the Blood-Maiden stones are and then up, into the area above, coming out of the event area heading back East and south. Going through the southern area (tar pits) and once reaching the small bluff where a mystery chest spawns go north, and east, towards the ruins in front of the Shivta Ruins dungeon entrance, I find a number of goblins in this small maze of steps and trails. From there, head south-east along the desert edge, and then do a spiral search pattern through the desert. The whole of the search is somewhat like a figure eight on its side.If you cannot find at least 2 goblins per minute, exit the game and reload as this does reset environmental variables. The same for finding too many regular goblins versus the new variants, exit and reload as you should find a 1:1 regular vs. variant as you search.This is all done on your mount, don't walk as they will run away. Totally ignore anything but goblins and watch your mini map for them, ignore the main screen, running through every trash mob as they are not your goal, the goblins are.Also, builds that freeze/immobilize or stun goblins and let you kill them almost instantly are bad for trying to proc the Gelatinous Cyrus to split as when you kill it is doesn't actually split and you get no loot. You have to let it run for a few seconds, then kill it, and do the same to its spawns. I believe this is a bug as only 2 out of 11 have dropped loot for me the others vanished upon death.One last point is that this event is extremely disappointing with the amount of loot and goblins that you get compared to the first event that happened on the one year anniversary of D4 on June 2024. New variants are a great change, but it is simply not a fun filled festival of goblin mayhem and treasure!
last days i got me the 30 tenets in the new regions, was near whole time unmounted cause so may goblins on the way, getting these 30 tenets also got my goblin march reputation full, i think in the end there are alot good regions. Best region is when i am alone and noone else is looking for goblins, in Helltides you see often others. I am still on my minion spec with necro so im only on t2 for faster farming, t3 is ok too but t4 not so much with minion necro, now im 252 got all items i need for a bloodspear spec, now i just need the will todo so.But favorite is sure a packed helltide with a goblin shrine and just let them spawn.
