Whatever happened to the alt friendly tabards that helped with rep grinding? It seems after Pandaria the only "advantage" of having a faction tabard was to look fabulous while fighting. Obviously we got ONE character up to exalted status the hard way, why do we need to get ALL of them up that way? It's still a lot of rep grinding as I believe the alt friendly tabard of Pandaria and before, awarded a 50% boost to the rep. So, instead of grinding out 42,000 rep (the total rep of each level, Neutral, Friendly, Honored, Revered, to Exalted) our alts only had to grind out 21,000 rep if the first character bought the tabard. I don't remember if each character had to wear the tabard or just have it in your account. I think, the tabard had to be mailed to the character earning the rep to wear for the boost to count. But still, since Draenor, the faction tabards have simply been cosmetic. It's not a lot of gold, but it's still, for something JUST cosmetic and each character having to buy their own, it's a lot.

Personally, I don't think they're worth 500 gold, just to look smart and cover up the awesome chest pieces we get to transmog our gear into.

Edit: I just got it. Zeichen des Gesandten will change the rep gain to something other than divisible by five. When this is active a world quest that normally offers 75 rep would instead give 112.5 (rounding 113) rep. With enough world quests under this buff, it's very conceivable to have a rep with a seven as the last digit. Ok, makes perfect sense now. :D

Best looking tabard with the Horde emblem on it, imo.
