Von Wowhead Aktualisiert: 13.07.2020

Tabards are transmoggable and saved to the account-wide appearance system. Collecting 15 tabards is required for Fashionista: Wappenrock. See how many tabards you have collected with our Wardrobe Tool.Obtaining Deleted Tabards

Tabard Vendors sell PvP honor tabards and Outland reputation ones.

Tabard vendors can also restore quest tabards like Wappenrock von Arathor and Lila Trophäenwappenrock der Illidari, holiday tabards like Sommerlicher Himmelswappenrock, and achievement tabards like Wappenrock des Meisters der Lehren.

Users have reported that special tabards like Wappenrock des Silberbunds, Wappenrock der Argentumdämmerung, and Wappenrock der Flamme cannot be restored.

To buy back MoP and Cataclysm reputation tabards, you'll have to go to that faction's quartermaster.

Players who kept Wappenrock der Wettkämpfer from many years ago can buy it on all characters at Garyle in Orgimmar and Lysea in Ironforge, according to comments.

Datamined Shadowlands Tabards

Wappenrock der Allianz / Wappenrock der Horde can be purchased during the Exile's Reach starting area for . These become available from Rüstmeisterin Richter / Versorger Jin'hake during the quest Die Vorräte aufstocken / Die Vorräte aufstocken. For more information, please check our Exile's Reach Overview.

Wappenrock der Aufgestiegenen is likely a reward from the Kyrian Covenant. As this tabard has no reputation attached to it, it is likely to be a reward from the Kyrian exclusive feature, the Path of Ascension. Check our Kyrian Covenant Overview for more information.

Farben der Unvergänglichen Armee requires Exalted with Die Unvergängliche Armee, the Maldraxxus faction. It is currently unknown if this is linked to the Necrolord Covenant.

So far, these are all different recolors of the same model. It is currently unknown how to obtain them, as they are not available at any of the PvP vendors in Oribos.

Reputation

Wappenrock der Wächter von Baradin/Wappenrock von Höllschreis Hand requires Honored with your various PvP faction in Halbinsel von Tol Barad. Reputation can be acquired by winning battles and completing daily quests. The tabard costs 40 Belobigungsabzeichen von Tol Barad, which is several days of daily quests. It has the added benefit of teleporting you to the zone.

Wappenrock von Gilneas/Wappenrock des Bilgewasserkartells are tabards for the new playable races introduced in Cataclysm: goblins and worgen. They are available in Darnassus and Orgrimmar respectively from Lord Candren and Frizzo Villamar.

Wappenrock von Ramkahen requires Friendly with Ramkahen and is purchased from Schmied Abasi. If you want to speed up the initial rep boost, choose the Ehrenabzeichen von Ramkahen reward from Flucht aus der Verlorenen Stadt.

Wappenrock des Wildhammerklans/Wappenrock des Drachenmalklans requires Friendly with Drachenmalklan/Wildhammerklan in Schattenhochland.

Wappenrock des Irdenen Rings requires Friendly with Der Irdene Ring and is purchasable from Versorger Arok in the Schimmernde Weiten. (Look directly south of the word “Hollow” on the map for the location of the NPC and then swim into the cave.) You can get the needed rep from most Cataclysm zones.

Wappenrock der Wächter des Hyjal requires Friendly with Wächter des Hyjal, extremely easy to acquire if you’ve done a few quests in Hyjal.

To the annoyance of all your alts, you’ll need to complete most of Tiefenheim to obtain the needed rep and proper phasing for Wappenrock der Therazane, purchased from D'lom der Sammler. Therazane is needed for shoulder enchants.

Wappenrock von Arathor/Wappenrock der Entweihten requires not only exalted with Der Bund von Arathor/Die Entweihten, but the completion of Kontrolliert fünf Stützpunkte. This quest does not require you to win the battle with five nodes capped, but simply to control them at one point.

Alliance: Wappenrock von Darnassus from Mondpriesterin Lasara, Wappenrock der Exodar from Kadu, Wappenrock von Gnomeregan from Meistertüftlerin Trini, Wappenrock von Eisenschmiede from Hauptmann Steinhelm, Wappenrock von Sturmwind from Hauptmann Lancy Revshon

Horde: Dunkelspeerwappenrock from Champion Uru'zin, Wappenrock von Orgrimmar from Steingardist Nargol, Wappenrock von Silbermond from Magistrix Nizara, Wappenrock von Donnerfels from Kriegerheld Tuho, and Wappenrock von Unterstadt from Hauptmann Donald Adams.

Wappenrock der Aldor/Wappenrock der Seher are available at Exalted from the rival factions in Shattrath City: Die Aldor and Die Seher. If you switch factions for Der Held Shattraths, you will be unable to re-equip your tabard. There are several repeatable item turnins and major quest chains in Netherstorm/Shadowmoon Valley to boost rep.

Wappenrock der Expedition des Cenarius requires Exalted with Expedition des Cenarius and is purchased from Fedryen Flinkspeer The bulk of your rep will come from questing and running Die Dampfkammer.

Wappenrock des Konsortiums requires Exalted with Das Konsortium and is purchased from Karaaz and Paulsta'ats. An easy way to get rep is to grind Insigne der Zaxxis in Netherstorm for Noch ein Hügel voller Astraler.

Wappenrock der Ehrenfeste/Wappenrock von Thrallmar requires Exalted with Ehrenfeste/Thrallmar. They are purchased from their respective quartermasters in Höllenfeuerhalbinsel. The bulk of your reputation after questing will come from running Hellfire instances on heroic--Die Zerschmetterten Hallen, Der Blutkessel. Höllenfeuerbollwerk.

Wappenrock der Hüter der Zeit requires Exalted with Hüter der Zeit and is purchased from Alurmi. Reputation can only be gained by running Vorgebirge des Alten Hügellands and Der Schwarze Morast.

Wappenrock der Kurenai/Wappenrock der Mag'har requires Exalted with Kurenai/Die Mag'har. These factions provide the major lore storylines for Nagrand, covering the path of the Broken and Thrall’s family. There’s numerous quests and turnins for Obsidiankriegsperlen. Since most ogres in the zone award reputation, a twink grouped in party can hit Exalted.

Wappenrock des Unteren Viertels requires Exalted with Unteres Viertel and is purchased from Nakodu. Quests and Auchindon instances (Auchenaikrypta, Sethekkhallen, Schattenlabyrinth, will award the bulk of your rep.

Wappenrock von Ogri'la requires Exalted with Ogri'la and is purchased from Jho'nass for 10 Apexissplitter, an item that drops from numerous mobs and also is a quest reward. This is a slow rep grind with a limited amount of repeatable quests in Schergrat.

Wappenrock der Sha'tar requires Exalted with Die Sha'tar and is purchased from Almaador. After doing the handful of quests, you’ll need to run Tempest Keep: The Botanica, The Arcatraz and The Mechanar for rep.

Wappenrock der Himmelswache requires Exalted with Himmelswache der Sha'tari and is purchased from Grella. You can either do daily quests or slaughter a bunch of mobs in Skettis in Wälder von Terokkar at once to hit Exalted. Twinks can hit Exalted from this latter method.

Wappenrock von Sporeggar requires Exalted with Sporeggar and is purchased from Mycah for 10 Glühkappe. After completing zone-wide quests, the easiest way to hit Exalted is to turn in Bluthibiskus, found in Der Tiefensumpf, for the repeatable quest Bringt mir ein Gebüsch!.

Wappenrock der Zerschmetterten Sonne requires Exalted with Offensive der Zerschmetterten Sonne and is purchased from Eldara Dämmerflucht. Reputation can be gained from doing numerous daily quests and running Terrasse der Magister.

Gefängnisschlüssel des Astraleums has a chance to spawn a mob in Netherstorm that awards reputation with several BC factions: Cenarion Expedition, Consortium, Keepers of Time, Lower City, The Sha'tar, and Sporeggar. If you are a twink and grouped with a higher-level player that can defeat the mob, you will earn reputation too. Eventually, with enough keys and luck, you'll hit exalted!

The following tabards are relatively easy to acquire with minimal questing. However, if you’ve skipped quests, you can get the required rep from buying reputation commendation badges for 6 . These tabards allow you to gain reputation in only level 80 dungeons—no Cata dungeons count.

Wappenrock des Argentumkreuzzugs requires Friendly with Argentumkreuzzug and is purchased from Kreuzfahrerveteran Aliocha Segard. Because of the new quests in the Plaguelands awarding rep, it’s possible for a low-level to obtain the rep for this tabard, which is not in a phased area.

Wappenrock der Schwarzen Klinge requires Friendly with Ritter der Schwarzen Klinge and is purchasable from Herzogin Mynx. While Death Knights start off at friendly, all players must complete a series of phased quests in Eiskrone to unlock the vendor.

Wappenrock der Kirin Tor requires Friendly with Kirin Tor and is purchased from Erzmagier Alvareaux. As all mages start off friendly with the Kirin Tor, any level mage can purchase and equip this tabard.

Wappenrock des Wyrmruhpakts requires Friendly with Der Wyrmruhpakt and is purchased from Cielstrasza.

Due to a naming glitch, it was possible at one point for low-level twinks to acquire some of these tabards. Blauer Sack voller Edelsteine was the name of an item that dropped from outdoor raid bosses (removed in Cataclysm) as well as the original name for Behälter des Leywächters from The Occulus. This led to the unintended result of twinks looting bags containing Emblems of Triumph and Zügel des Blaudrachen by accident. The Emblems could be redeemed from Legacy Justice Quartermasters for reputation tokens, allowing twinks to reach friendly with various factions.

A new way for twinks to acquire these tabards came about in 4.1 with the Justice/Honor point conversion. Twinks could PvP, convert their honor into Gerechtigkeitspunkte, and then purchase various commendations from Legacy Justice Quartermasters for the low price of 16 Gerechtigkeitspunkte to increase their reputation by 250 a pop: Belobigungsabzeichen des Argentumkreuzzugs, Belobigungsabzeichen der Schwarzen Klinge, Belobigungsabzeichen des Wyrmruhpakts, Belobigungsabzeichen der Kirin Tor.

Another great 1,000 foot view of a collectors achievement. Its nice that most of the tabards are listed first, followed by the explination on how to get them, or the source itself. This makes it very easy to run down the list.

This is a good place to start for people looking to get the achievement. Yet the tool that will help most people out the most is a macro that has been floating around which will tell you which tabards you have already equipped for the achievement. With over 70 in game tabards, and no tracking system on the achievment itself, this ingame macro becomes rather invaluable.

/run y=GetAchievementCriteriaInfo for z=1,87 do a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j = y(1021,z); k,l,m,n,o,p,q,r,s,t = y(j) if m==false then print("\124cffff0000\Missing:\124r",k) else print("\124cff00ff00\Equipped:\124r",k) end; end

Simply copy and paste into a chat line, and see which tabards you have not yet equipped.

Great guide.

Since the 7th anniversary might as well not have anything to do with tabards it might be worth editing the title to make it more focused on just tabard collecting.

This macro works in 5.4 if you want to know what tabards you have equipped:

/run t={="\124cff00ff00done\124r",="\124cffff0000not done\124r"} for i=1,30000 do desc,_,done,_,_,_,_,id=GetAchievementCriteriaInfoByID(621,i) if id then _,link=GetItemInfo(id) print(link or desc,t) end end

Credit goes to grogir. Thanks.

Theres a mistake in "Players who kept Competitor's Tabard from many years ago can buy it on all characters at ~~Garyle~~ in Orgimmar and ~~Lysea~~ in Ironforge, according to comments."

They should be replaced with Garyl and Lyesa Stahlbraue

Over my years of tabard collecting I keep returning to the addon 'Tabard Addict' plus this guide! The addon has a Suggestions tab which points you towards some pretty easy tabards to grab based on level, exalted reputations, etc... Plus includes wowhead links to all the tabards.

About a month ago, I opened a ticket asking if I could get Wappenrock der Argentumdämmerung restored to me. The friendly GM verified that I had the Feat of Strength, and simply mailed me a new one. Don't know if this is a recent change or not, but I thought I'd let people know who deleted it back in the day and now wish they still had it...

Got exalted with steamwheedle, bought the tabard. I thought Dreißig Wappenröcke is finally earned because i have 29/30 for achiev. I put it on and nothing happend! Does Dreanor tabards really count for the achiev?

Theramore Tabard is still obtainable. It's sold by Zidormi, standing by the bridge outside Theremore for 1g. She also sells the mini mana bomb Horde toy.

Just a head's up (and this is a great piece by the way) the Wildhammer and Dragonmaw logos need to be switched as Dragonmaw is the Horde faction and Wildhammer is the Alliance faction. Other than that, perfect.

another great guide. tyvm. I like the thumbnails youve added

Location of the vendors would be nice so one does not need to click the link - "city" would be enough.

Otherwise, nice guide

Hello everyone...

I just learned something the hard way... I was happy to see that all tabards were now in the transmog wardrobe system... I had 66 tabards in my bank and void storage...

Since I'm not very well versed in the transmog system (never transmogged anything in fact...), I thought that having them in the wardrobe was about the same thing as the toy box. So, I deleted them all to regain the space, thinking it would function pretty much like the toy box if I ever need one for later use... but it is not the case... If the tabard have a useful function like the Teleport to the Argent Tournament grounds found on the Wappenrock des Argentumkreuzfahrers , you'll lose the property if the tabard is deleted. I thought that the transmog would transfer the appearance AND the utilities associated with that tabard. But it's not...

In fact, I'm now wondering... especially for the future tabards I'll be getting... There is sometimes some extra reputation points associated with wearing a faction tabard (faction championning). Is this function transferred by the transmog system or do I still need to really wear the tabard ?

Thank you very much.

The Bloodknight paladin tabard is available to BOTH horde and Alliance paladins. Alliance players get the Weapons of Darkness(?) quest inside Stormwind Cathedral.
After quest completion, Alliance players may travel to Ironforge (Yes!) and purchase the Tabard from the vendor.

I have 3 Alliance paladins and 1 Bloodelf.equipped with it.

The Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade is dropped by Armsmaster Harlan, specifically.

Can someone please make a new (up to date) macro for 7.2+ to be able to see which tabards we equipped so far and which we have not? Thanks in advance!

Kommentar von Vaxom

I still don't get the point why there is still rep requirement to transmog some tabards.. like honestly..
Transmog Baradin's Wardens Tabard on my 110 toon?.. No sorry.
Ride Drake of the West Wind on my level 20 char?.. Thats fine I guess.

Looking through, the only insanely useful tabard are the two Tol Barad tabards, which every four hours will take you to your base in TB -- steps from the SW/Org portal. Faster to get through than new Dalaran, even.

It would be nice if this guide was updated with information and tabards from recent years.
