There are several mistakes in the Build section of the 10.07 Guide.

Guillotine M+ Build shows a Hatred Build.

Hatred Build shows a Portal Build etc.

Eventually there should be somebody looking over such things bevore posting to prevent such Mistakes?

I respectfully disagree on multiple points on the questing portion of your guide.

Hi, my character is Tinakoffee, but you may call me Tackett. I've been playing and maining Demonology since the tail end of Burning Crusades. I dipped into Affliction briefly to get a decent transmog running spec for old content, and never touch destruction. As such, I've now established my credentials, you now know I am damn well knowledgeable about demo.

Tier 1 (15) - If you aren't mass pulling as Demo you aren't doing something right. Highly reccomend taking Dreadlash here as it's passive, no extra button presses required, and automatically does AoE

Tier 2 (30) - Demonic Calling. Again, its passive, lets me bring out Dreadstalkers way more often, and I dont have to push anymore buttons. Doom is the only real wrong choice. Avoid it like the plague.

Tier 3 (45) - Demon Skin. It's the only right answer. Killing yourself isn't worth "going fast" in the open world imo and making yourself more invulnerable to those big elites that other classes need help for is one of the best things about demo. Dark Pact is wrong.

Tier 4 (60) - Because of the synergy with tier 1 and tier 2, I am picking From the Shadows here (though Summon Vilefiend was ALL RIGHT for me) for two reasons. One, it empowers my dreadstalkers further, and 2, its passive and no extra button presses are required.

Tier 5 (75) - Hey, Darkfury, we agree on something. Next.

Tier 6 (90) - I honestly don't know how you play with spec without choosing Inner Demons. It's what makes this spec the most fun it's ever been, and I just cant NOT pick it.

Tier 7 (100) - Hey, we agree on something else, Sacrified Souls for the win.

Again, I've played and mained demonology for almost a decade now, and while my raiding and mythic + experience is subpar, my open world PvE and questing experience is well above average. This spec will run over anything you put in front of it, and with the possible exception of Beast Master hunters, is the best soloing spec in the game.

Just letting you know the Talent Guide is bugged, it doesn't show the entire talent tree anymore. I know it did yesterday but when I looked today it didn't show at all.

Kommentar von 1486321

FYI Curse of Fragility doesnt work on PVE mobs. Only player targets.

Kommentar von Smash

I was trying to look up info for Azerite and Essences, but this guide simply links back to bloodmallet instead of giving opinions. I wouldn't mind that, except bloodmallet uses 3/5 different DPS Talents that you don't recommend. Which means the sims would look different for the Traits/Essences. This is actually the problem with many guides on wowhead. The talents recommended are different from what Bloodmallet uses, but they link directly to it acting as if that supports the same info. Would be nice to get accurate Sims based on the Talents you suggested, rather than copy+paste invalid info.

Kommentar von Bein

Bane of Fragility works only on players, it cant be casted on PvE targets

Kommentar von ziljin

Second tier talent Doom is reworked. Its duration is reduced to 20 sec (subject to further Haste reduction), no demon summoned. It seems it is now a decent way for Shard generation.

Hello
I would like to know what talent to take to play with the nether portal talent ?
thx

Kommentar von Drathe

From the Shadows:
...Shadowflame damage from 'you' is: Demonbolt, Hand of Gul'dan and Implosion.

Patch 9.1:

From the Shadows (Talent) now also increases your pet's Shadowflame damage.

Kommentar von Jynks

Please post a casual SOLO QUESTING build. I know there is a lot of players focused on Mythic or Raiding or PvP.. but there is a huge numbers of casuals that just want to play solo and do quests and see the story and stuff. Looking for survivability as the main focus. DPS is not even a major thing as even medium dps can handle everything in a solo questing environment. Like I usually play with my blue buddy out as he tanks and just cruse around. I think all the talent pages should have one build designed for casuals like me that focuses on solo questing as there are a lot of us playing as well.

Kommentar von warlocktank

5 talents just dedicated to drain life. that's about 5 too many. 4 talents just for soul link. those are some lame talents. warlock main. overall, love the talents trees. but those capstones on the class tree and some of those talents are uninspired/uncool.

Kommentar von izaul

I really hope those import codes are troll

Kommentar von Kurtosis

Your Big Dog talent build is broken. It doesn't allocate any talent points on the left side Warlock tree. Probably b/c you currently have it allocating all of them.

Kommentar von gracious

i tried out this mythic build and i wasnt that good when i came to dps the one i have done myself seem to be way more dps output

Kommentar von Kieoso

"Here's a bunch of builds but I'm not going to tell you their use cases"

Kommentar von lgleonardogomes

With 14% haste (priority Mastery) and raid build (std) picking Demonic Calling the output and the rotation feels rlly better.

Kommentar von remsikt

Is it possible to get a good Mytic+ AOE and SOLO talent builds but also include their rotations? Pretty please ?

Kommentar von Ohmally99

Warlock tree talents are either out of date or incorrect. does not match in-game talents

Kommentar von fjorgynnagrand

talent build strings are mixed up (NP & immutable hatred)

Kommentar von Camberwell

Umm, the raid nether portal build doesn't even take the nether portal talent?

Kommentar von riiann

Why does "Nether Portal Raid Build" not spec into Nether Portal; "Immutable Hatred Raid Build" not spec into Immutable Hatred; and "Guillotine M+ Talent Build" not spec into Guillotine?

Kommentar von crimsonhellgr

Nether Portal Raid Build and Immutable Hatred are mixed (their "Key talents sections however are correct)

Kommentar von Sepulchre778

TYPO
The sustained AOE M+ build still has the name "NP M+ Talent Build" on the build calculator tab

Kommentar von Lucastlock

All the stat weights seem to have shifted to crit/verse and the consumable and gear lists seem outdated based on recent sims.

Kommentar von Jerilynn

All of these builds seem to be broken :(

Kommentar von Malachi68

To quote an old lady from a commercial back in the 80's: "Where's the beef?"

Every other class seems to have talent suggestions except Demolocks. Is it because we've been nerfed so much?

Kommentar von lindellwyn

mythic build does not include grimoire: felguard? really?

Kommentar von ergh99

Why does the Raid Single target build include Mal von F'harg instead of Mal von Shatug?

Kommentar von Auralyon

"Pact of the Imp Mother" build does not use the talent "Pact of the Imp Mother"

Kommentar von Pendji

Brother, please update any of this. Even the "either or" comments then show a build using both of them.

Kommentar von misstiesha

the alternative talent recs are a bit confusing alongside the provided builds. I think this guide needs another review.

- the raid ST build says that we can drop grimoire: felguard and choose annihilan training instead, but both are already talented in the provided build. what do we move that extra point into?
- the raid cleave build says "the main difference is not having doom" but both the ST and the cleave build have doom talented. or am I misinterpreting what's being said here?
- the delve build says we can take points out of grimoire: felguard and fel sunder to put into umbral blaze and pact of the imp mother, but the provided build already has umbral blaze and pact of the imp mother talented. it also does not have fel sunder talented.

Kommentar von GetSomeSammy

Hi all!

Can someone explain why umbrel blaze isn't in the builds? I feel like that's a stronger talent.

Thank you in advance!

Kommentar von Tyrick

How do you heal your pet in a Delve if you don't pick Höllischer Günstling?

Kommentar von bobisadrummer

Is it correct that the single target build are showing Implosion instead of Power Siphon?

Kommentar von bobisadrummer

The hyperlink for the Soul Harvester Raid Single Target build links to an Outlaw Trickster build.

Kommentar von DrZectagon

The first link for the Raid Soul Harvester build is linked to a Rogue build. >.>

Kommentar von Teknofarious

Summon Doomguard CD is reduced by Demonic Core, not Hand of Gul'dan.

Kommentar von SleekHare

With the cuts to Demonology damage on 03/17/25 I used the Mythic+ Best! M suggestion (last changed on 2026/02/26) with one exception: I changed Implosion to Power Siphon. This increased the DPS by 10k to 20k and made the rotation much more enjoyable to me.

My haste and crit are still hovering around 13% as of this post; more of those stats may make implosion more fun.

Kommentar von Esoterick

I would suggest the talent builds and guide in general need updating, wowhead is the only guide that still recommends the doom build saying it is stronger for M+/AOE.

This has been the case for a while and not just new for 12.1
