Craft Klinge des Zauberbrechers with Ritualstein des Jägers Explanation

Mainhand Weapon DPS is the single most important stat in the game, and sending your first craft on a weapon is usually a safe bet. However, if you do manage to luck out and get a weapon on your first vaults/mythic clears, you can skip out on this option and go directly into choice number 2.

Craft Schleichschuhe des Silbermondagenten with Arkanostofffutter Explanation

The main reason we craft boots is just due to the lack of boot options that have ideal stats for us. Again, if you manage to find a high ilvl pair of boots with decentish stats, you can elect to once again skip to the next craft option.

Craft Werkzeuggürtel des Silbermondagenten with Arkanostofffutter Explanation

By this point it is likely that you have replaced your crafted weapon and you will want to either recraft it, and remove the embellishment on it, and replace it with this item, with this embellishment instead as it is slightly stronger.

Replace Low Item Level Pieces.

Craft Klinge des Zauberbrechers with Ritualstein des Jägers Explanation

Even later into the season Mainhand Weapon DPS is the single highest value slot, so crafting a weapon to set yourself up for success is a great idea.

Craft Schleichschuhe des Silbermondagenten with Arkanostofffutter Explanation

Similar as early season, with the lack of good boot options this season, it's very easy to just default into crafting boots so that you have BiS setup and ready to go long term.

Craft Werkzeuggürtel des Silbermondagenten with ArkanostofffutterExplanation

By this point it is likely that you have replaced your crafted weapon and you will want to either recraft it without its embellishment or replace it entierly. Either way you will want to make sure you use this ring for the embellishment as it is slightly stronger than the Darkmoon Sigil.

Replace Low Item Level Pieces.

Weapon
Mainhand Weapon DPS is the easiest way to upgrade our damage and should be the first thing you sink crests into.

Strong Trinkets
The best trinkets this tier for us are quite strong, spending crests on trinkets is the next best thing behind a weapon.

High Stat Budget Items
Slots like Shoulder and Chest provide more stats when upgraded when compared to Bracers for example. Sinking Crests into these slots will result in more damage most of the time.

Ich würde den Umhang des wachen Schattenwandlers als BIS-Umhang vorschlagen, vom Revival Catalyst.

tons of great information thank you so much made my life a lot easier

Kommentar von Nayen

::Edit:: I've found now that I've geared my rogue up (360ish) that as your haste and crit start getting to around the 15% and 25% (haste/crit) marks, Vers becomes a stronger stat per point. Galeforc/crit also sims similar for me at the moment in terms of single target DPS.

How come the weapons in the BiS list aren't crit/haste stat ones? Is there a soft haste/crit cap I don't know about?

Kommentar von daftjack

um you defiantly want to use before the end of the fight is say about 40 stacks will pretty much get you to 100% crit. correct me if I am wrong but 100% I believe is the cap for crit.

Kommentar von Wint3rSt0rm

There is a small mistake in the links for the Bis Gear it states that the SinSoaked Waders (boots) are from Mists while they are from Sanguine Depths

Kommentar von Oldbury

I'd really like something here that explicitly states that Outlaw wants a dagger in the offhand, rather than just inferring it by suggesting a weapon that happens to be a dagger in the offhand.

Kommentar von Hyerr

Seal of Filial Duty is literally not bis at all even with it being 405. The stats are terrible and I have simmed it against many of my crit vers rings. A crafted JC 382 ring with a titan training matrix is literally better.

Kommentar von H4rlequin

Flüsterndes Symbol der Inkarnation should also be put into A tier. It's almost the same as Hunger des Rudels.
It's even better than HotP, if you have it as DPS and a tank or heal has it, you will get a proc buff for 12 seconds

Kommentar von anihc

"only wear 2 pieces of gear with Embellishments"

Could you please highlight it with red and bolt or CAPS so ppl se that there are only 2 you can use

Kommentar von Crazylock

I am very confused as to why is Bottle of Spiraling Winds is on the BIS list and yet its considered a C tier trinket.

Kommentar von eco23

So in "Mythic+ Best in Slot Gear for Outlaw Rogue" one of the trinkets is B-tier? Why not Mark of Dargrul then?

Kommentar von Scitna

Can we get some clarification on why we're going with Toxic Thorn Footwraps this patch instead of Slimy Expulsion Boots? I already have the latter and could recraft rather than crafting new boots.

Kommentar von Tahuma

Why is porcelain crab rated so low when it sims really high for cleave? Outlaw wants more cleave damage.

Kommentar von Xadis

I would suggest the Umhang des wachen Schattenwandlers as a BIS cloak, from Revival Catalyst.

Kommentar von Highone

Why engineering head is not recommended over life-bound cap? Engineering wrists are listed as bis so clearly engineering is assumed as a profession.
Shouldn't another tinker outperform the crit we would have from lw helm? Or at least provide useful enough utility that we would consider giving up the crit?

Kommentar von Saintmajora

Are we not getting Lurking set this season?

Kommentar von Kataclysmik615

so the toxic set is bis but what about with eranog ring? wouldnt it be better to go double shadowflame to proc ring more?

Kommentar von Dexteritous

If you're playing Season 4 DF and reading this, do NOT buy Cataclysmic Signet Brand. It has to be the worst trinket you can possibly get with bullions. The damage it does is so low on both single target and AoE that it's like wearing no trinket at all. Also in M+ the fire damage it does to yourself will break your stealth between pulls and ruin your openers.

I don't know who writes these guides but Wowhead is desperate to make clickbait articles and there is no better clickbait today than "tier lists". This trinket is not S Tier, it's not even C Tier, its vendor trash. Do not waste your bullions on Cataclysmic Signet Brand.

If you go on RaiderIO you will not find a single rogue wearing this trinket because its terribly useless.

Edit: just to clarify on Wowhead the tooltip says this trinket does 971,160 damage over 6 seconds, in-game its actually 18,821 at 528 ilvl, less than 2% of what Wowhead claims.

Kommentar von ganomex

Capo's Molten Knuckles is main hand only, you have it listed as offhand equipped. Today is 2/25/25

Kommentar von Tahuma

I don't know what detachable fang is simming for, but with some testing, it does horrid damage and should be pushed off the list to join Papas prächtiger Putter to remain in the category of damage proc trinkets that don't scale well or do bad damage.

Kommentar von Burzolog

Can you add the new delve trinkets to your tier list? The pet summoned by Noggenfogger Ultimate Deluxe is doing absolutely crazy DPS right now for Outlaw.

Kommentar von kirtho

It seems Blizzard seriously disagrees with the stat priority. All my Hero track (Treasure-Seeker 649) drops so far prioritize Mastery and Haste. And the Tier set (Spectral you can transform your gear does no better. I only have two pieces in my current set with Mastery for a total of +1672, but still end up with a whopping 19% Mastery.

Kommentar von Zygos

Can someone explain to me why this guide says Echoing Void will be our go to corruption when Archon is showing most Outlaw rogues using Twilight Devastation?

Kommentar von Liesl

For the corruption - Echoing Void isn't proccing like it should. Pick TwiDev but note that it can hit some mobs elsewhere.

For the belt - if you value stealth stay away from Charged Bolts. It currently breaks stealth.

Kommentar von pathofcloud

Is there a reason Screams of a Forgotten Sky isn't listed in the trinket tier list?

Kommentar von Tahuma

pspspsps, the Embellishment tab includes the Cinderbee set, which is the Mail Armour embellishments which shouldn't be in the Outlaw Rogue guide. Fury of the Stormrook is the Leather embellished set:
Verwitterte Sturmfrontweste
Klauen des grollenden Donners
Krähenfedergelenkbänder

Zorn der Sturmkrähe

Still a terrible set since we want stable haste for breakpoints instead of small haste procs and bracers aren't itemized for our stats, but it exists. Also no mention of the engineering embellishments, if those matter at all for rogue engineers (or non engineers), but I imagine if they compete at all, it'll be roughly the same impact as elemental focusing lens.

Kommentar von Tahuma

My Sigil of the Cosmic Hunt performs worse than Soulbreaker's Sigil in both single target and cleave. The sims for it are horrifically incorrect, or else there is some sort of interaction I am missing because in heroic progression, a champion Soulbreaker's Sigil outperforms a heroic Sigil of the Cosmic Hunt in almost every single encounter, sometimes being whole number percentages in damage behind. Two elemental focusing lenses outperformed it on one particular pull, while on another it dealt 50% more than the embellishments.

The one time it did significantly better was on Heroic Araz, where it could cleave (though Soulbreaker was providing large vers buffs as well). Shouldn't it be the defacto best single target trinket? Because I'm not seeing it and would love to hear other people's thoughts and experiences.

I can at least confirm Ticking Sack is pulling significantly better numbers as a damage proc trinket. Disappointed this single target trinket was a flop for me though.

Kommentar von MalenInsekt

Why is Gaze of the Alnseer good? The guide states it's good because it grants a lot of critical strike, which is very good for outlaw rogue, but it doesn't grant any critical strike at all. It grants mastery which is the worst secondary stat for outlaw rogue. It would therefore absolutely not be S-tier for outlaw rogue, right?

Kommentar von Cikala

Krick's Beetle Stabber is listed as BiS offhand, however it's not showing on the loot table in game for outlaw, and the item page shows it only drops for assassination and subtlety.
